도시형 자기부상열차용 굴절형 분기장치의 개발(I) (Development of a Piecewise Bendable Switch System for the Urban Transit MagLev(I))

  • This paper presents the status quo of the development of a piecewise bendable switch system for the urban transit MagLev. MagLev system as well as railroad requires switch systems to reach its destination. Requirements of the switch system for commercial lines are high speed operation satisfying about 2-3 minute headway and system reliability, etc. Parallel moving type switch system was installed on the test track of urban transit MagLev in KIMM. In this system, switch operation from one position to another can be done in about 90 seconds. Therefore, we concluded that this system can not satisfy the headway for the commercial lines. We decided to develop a high speed piecewise bendable switch system in which switching can be done in 20 seconds. Designed switch system is very complicated in view of operating mechanism. It consists of 11 segmented girder beams driven by hydraulic cylinders. To gain the idea of a piecewise bendable switch system, we manufactured and tested a 1/5 scale switch model. We are going to construct a full scale piecewise bendable switch system next year.

  • This paper deals with characteristics of magnet that the levitation and guidance forces at static state and we tested and evaluated its. Also we compared to effect of levitation force with material and shape of guide way, focus on evaluation and method of test for the magnet of Urban Transit Maglev vehicle.

  • Current status of the low-to-medium speed Urban MagLev Systems were studied, for Korean UTM(Urban Transit Maglev), Japanese HSST(High Speed Surface Transport) and Chinese CMS(Chinese Maglev System). Mainly, process of development, testing facilities, specifications of maglev systems and public service program were compared respectively.

  • This paper deals with the magnet for Urban Transit Maglev-01 (Electro-Magnetic Suspension) which is experimented by the static magnet test bed. The test bed is developed for the hinge style. This paper shows the levitation force vs magnet current and difference of the yoke depth.

  • 철차륜방식의 궤도시스템과 마찬가지로 자기부상차량 시스템 역시 정해진 경로로 주행하기 위한 분기장치가 반드시 필요하고, 대차가 궤도를 감싸고 주행하는 외형적 특성으로 분기장치의 구조가 커지고 동작이 복잡해지는 특징을 가지고 있다. 본 논문은 도시형 자기부상차량 시스템에 적용가능한 분기장치 형태들을 제안하고 있으며, 한국기계연구원의 도시형 자기부상차량 시험선로에 설치된 평행이동식 분기장치에 대한 설치 사양 및 운용현황 등을 설명하고 현재 개발이 진행중인 고속동작용 다관절 굴절식 분기장치의 1/5 scale 축소모형에 대한 개발현황 및 full scale 굴절식 분기장치로 확장할 때의 적용성 등을 제안하고 있다.
