긴급서어비스 시설의 적정소요 및 배분 (A Study on an Optimal Requirement and Allocation Planning of Emergency Service Facilities)

  • This paper considers urban emergency service systems that dispatch vehicles (facilities) from fixed bases with the objective of finding an optimum allocation of emergency facilities. A case study of fire station problem of Seoul city is conducted to analyze the deployment of fire-fighting resources and develop a class of improved deployment strategies with Parameteric Allocation Model (P.A.M.). The study shows a long term plan leading to balanced fire protection for most fire hazardous districts as well as low alarm districts.

회전강도가 Fire Whirl의 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험연구 (An Experimental Study on the Effect of Rotation Strength on Fire Whirl Characteristics)

  • Rotational motion in the atmosphere around a fire may have a profound influence on the fire plume. This process underlies the occurrence of fire whirls. Fire whirls are rare but highly destructive phenomenon which were observed in a large forest, urban and building fires. The present study aims to investigate of the effect of rotation Strength on the fire whirl characteristics expeimentally. Experiments are performed for various sizes of fire source with different rotation strength. From the experimental observations, it is noted that the mean centerline temperature is gradually increased and mean radial temperature is decreased as increases rotation strength. The characteristic mean flame height of fire based on the visible observation is increased as increases of dimensionless swirl parameter, $\Omega/\alpha$, represented by swirl induced motion to buoyancy driven motion.

국내 가스 사고사례 중 NG 및 LPG의 가스 화재.폭발사고 예측시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (Study on Prediction System Construction of Fire.Explosion Accident by NG & LPG among Domestic Gas Accidents)

  • 한국적 상황에 적절한 사회적 위험기준을 제시하고, 도시가스시설에 대한 화재 및 폭발사고에 대한 포괄적이고 정량적인 예측프로그램을 만들기 위하여 최근 11년간의 가스사고 데이터베이스를 분석하였다. 동종유형의 가스사고 발생가능성을 판단할 수 있는 Poisson분석 방법을 적용한 결과(t=5년), 시공 작업 부주의-폭발-배관의 항목의 사고발생반도가 가장 작았으며, 배관연결부이완부식-누출-배관의 경우는 가장 높은 빈도를 나타내었다. 따라서 이에 대한 적절한 가스사고 대응책이 마련되어야 할 것이다 향후 가스사고에 대한 신뢰성 있는 분석을 위해서는 가스로 인한 화재 폭발사고에 대한 데이터베이스를 지속적으로 확충보완을 시켜야 되며, 이를 위한 표준 코드화 작업이 요구된다.

  • Recently as the rapid increasing of the elderly, silver housing has grown up. Though much fire evacuation and safety law, fire accident is most dangerous problem in our society. So this study is the purpose to analyze evacuation safety in urban silver housing of floor planning by corridor types using human behavior simulation. The methodology of this study is 'Literature Review' and 'Simulation'. This study has been carried out on silver housing's definition, types, fire safety theory and relation law. To proof evacuation safety, this study measured escaping time, longest distance, and bottleneck counting using human behavior simulation. This study use game engine simulation program to analyze 6 corridor types experimental model. As the result of simulation, this study compare between ASET and simulation result. The result come down to 3 part. First, double loaded corridor type is the most dangerous on urban silver housing. Second, Safe shelter's location and number cause increasing of escaping time. Lastly escaping time is influenced by behavior of agent, bottle neck strike frequency.

2022년 5월 31일 발생한 밀양산불이 인근 도시 지역의 미세먼지 농도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of May 31, 2022 Miryang Forest Fire on Fine Particle Concentration in Nearby Urban Areas)

  • This study investigated the effect of May 31, 2022 Miryang wildfire on fine particle concentrations in Busan and Gimhae, which are neighboring urban areas. In addition, fine particle characteristics and air pollution concentrations were investigated in Miryang, where haze occurred. The Miryang city wildfire that occurred on May 31, 2022, at 0925 LST, was driven by strong north winds and increased fine particle concentrations in Dongsangdong and Jangyoodong, Gimhae City, which are approximately 35 km to the southeast and south, respectively, of the wildfire occurrence site. Furthermore, the fine particle concentration in Myeongjidong, which is approximately 50 km south-southeast of the wildfire site, exhibited a temporary increase at 1400 LST owing to the effects of wildfire smoke. On the morning of June 1, the day after the fire, the Miryang area had very bad visibility because of the smoke from the fire. Therefore the PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations in Naeildong, 3 km south of the wildfire site, were 276 ㎍/㎥ and 222 ㎍/㎥, respectively, at 1200 LST. In addition, the gases O3, CO, and SO2 showed high concentrations at the time of haze generation. This study provides insights into policy making in response to the rapid increase in fine dust when wildfire occurs near cities.

  • After DAEGUE disaster, there are a lot of studying is focus on the safety of fire in korea. and Now there are taking place the modification of Urban Railway vehicle over the country. It is usually about the ability of fire resistance. But most of victims of this fire disaste in train on underground railway platform are because they could not leave the train in time and were trapped by hot gases. This study will investigate the plan of guide and evacuation plan of DAEGUE modification project and It will be compared with Madrid 8000 series metro's. and looking for reasonable and practical solution for Urban railway vehicle in Korea.

  • It is mainly due to the toxic gases, produced from the material combustion, threatens human body in case of urban railway car like subway which passes through underground tunnel. In the field of railway industry, fire accidents was not frequent but occurs in each country and, the causes was investigated. The advanced country established the test standard (e.g., BS, EN) to measure the toxic gases quantitatively and, have applied to enhance the fire safety of railway car. We must also follow the procedures to use gangway material for railway car as stated the Safety regulation for the urban railway car. In this study, various gangway materials(silicon, synthtic rubber, soaltapulin) are used to investigate element of toxic gases when the fire occurs. The amount of toxic gases measured from the ISO 5659 chamber using cone heater was measured and compared the results for each materials.

방화구획 관통부에 관한 연구 (A study on the penetration of the builing fire compartment)

  • 스프링클러설비와 방화구획 구성요소는 화재시 매우 중요한 역할을 한다. 그러나 기존에 15층이하 아파트는 스프링클러설비가 없어 화재시 방화구획에 의존해야 되는데 방화구획 관련 설계, 시공, 감리가 미비하여 화재에 쉽게 노출되어 있다. 설비슬리브, 전선관, 덕트등이 방화구획으로 되어 있는 부분을 관통하는 경우 그틈을 시멘트모르타르나 기타 불연재료로 메우도록 규정하고 있으나 화재발생시 관통부를 메운 재료의 내화성능 부실, 균열, 탈락 등으로 화재안전성이 떨어진다. 현장에서의 설계, 시공, 감리등 대응하는 자세가 너무 허술하다. 설계에 방화댐퍼, 관통부 틈새의 내용이 반영 되지 않고 건축, 기계, 전기, 통신, 소방등 각 분야의 허가 도면에 도장이 날인되어 나타난다. 시공자는 잘못된 설계도면을 가지고 허가 도면이라며 도면되로 시공한다. 또한 실리콘, 우레탄폼등을 방화구획 관통부 틈새에 주입하며, 작업자도 비숙련자로서 개념도 없이 방화용실란트와 우레탄폼을 혼용해가며 작업을 한다.

굴참나무 낙엽의 Fire Whirl 특성에 관한 실험연구 (Experimental Study on the Fire Whirl Characteristics of Oriental Oak Leaves)

  • The fire whirl occurring in the urban and/or wildland fire is generated by the instabilities of atmosphere. The fire whirl is a rare phenomenon, but highly destructive because it has high inhalation and lift force. In this study, experimental study is performed with oriental oak leaves, for investigating of the fire whirl characteristics occurred in wildland fire. As a result of experiment, the circulation intensity increases as increasing of the induced air velocity, and then the fire whirl occurs. Also, the heat release rate and flame height increase 22% and 18% in highest circulation.
