중소도시 택지개발지구내 복합건축물의 건축적 특성에 관한 연구 - 김천시 신음택지지구를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Architectural Characteristics of the Mixed-use Buildings in the Residential Land Development District in country-side cities - Focused on Shin-Eum Housing district in Gimcheon -)

  • The intent of this study is to propose future planning guidelines and directions of the mixed-use buildings in the residential land development district in country-side cities, based on the concept that the neighborhood facilities are to be strategically laid out in a convenient location and planned in a proper manner for a healthy, safe, friendly and new neighborhood environment. For this purpose, seventeen mixed-use buildings which had been built in Shin-Eum housing development district in Gimcheon from 1995 until 2004 were chosen and investigated in terms of architectural characteristics in that process with surveying and analyzing those. The scope of investigation on case studies was that site size would be below 400 square meters, total area below 1500 square meters, and the number of stories below five stories high on the ground. Method of investigation on those was through field investigation, field photographs, recordings and drawings on those. Investigative contents have been divided and analyzed into the quantitative and qualitative factors in urban and architectural dimension. From results of quantitative investigations, five planning guidelines or directions could be obtained. From results of qualitative investigations, five planning guidelines or directions could be obtained. The criteria will be applied to new architectural developments of the neighborhood facilities linked with the small shops.

Assessment of Organic Matter Sources in the Singil Stream Flowing into Lake Shihwa, South Korea

  • The Singil Stream, flowing into an artificial lake, Lake Shihwa (South Korea), experiences a strong anthropogenic pressure with continuous organic matter (OM) inputs from rural, urban, and industrial areas. In this study, we investigated suspended particulate matter (SPM) and streambed sediments collected along the Singil Stream in 2014 and 2016, by applying a dual element approach (δ13C and δ15N) to identify OM sources. The SPM and streambed sediment samples from the indusrial area showed higher organic carbon and nitrogen concentrations (or contents) than those from the other areas, with distinctively lower δ15N values. Accordingly, our dual element approach indicates that the industrial area was the predominant OM source influencing OM quality and thus water quality of the Singil Stream flowing into Lake Shihwa during the study periods. However, further studies are necessary to better constrain OM sources in the Singil Stream since OM sources from the industrial area appear to be complex.

Our country case in order to send a holiday season weekend from wealthy class of past decimal or the weekend house which builds, is generalized with the recent economic improvement where the form of villa etc. forms a mainstream but. From the research which sees consequently examines a plan about week life after retiring of the city workers and dwells investigates the contents which is concrete from the family with there is the goal provides a hereafter house for rural life plan at the time of fundamental data in the farming and fishing villages area.

U-City에 있어서 온톨로지 기반 U-서비스 설계 (A Design of Ontology-driven U-Service in U-City)

  • 도시의 궁극적인 목적은 '도시의 삶의 질 향상'이다. 이를 이루기 위하여 지역사회 합의,평가와 지역공동체의 비젼과 목표의 공유는 물론 지역 및 커뮤니티의 컨텐츠 생산 및 유통 소비의 최적화가 요구된다. U-City에서 서비스의 내용인 콘텐츠의 공유에 대한 요구와 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 온톨로지는 공유를 전제로 의미적 관계를 설정하기 위한 도구로서 이러한 변화에 대응하는 온톨로지 기반 U-Service 모델 설계가 필요하다. 본 연구는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 온톨로지 위치기반 콘텐츠를 최대한 표현할 수 있도록 하는 지도의 생성 및 서비스 구현의 가능성을 밝혀보았다.

  • 본 논문은 유비쿼터스 환경의 도시통합관제를 위한 실시간 데이터 처리 방안을 제시한다. 도시내 다양한 정보수집센서로부터 발생하는 데이터와 이벤트에 대해 분석하고 가공하여, 실시간으로 처리하는 것이 도시통합관제의 핵심이다. 본 논문은 다양하게 발생하는 이벤트 정보를 분석하고, 상황에 맞는 조치를 취하기 위한 판단모듈에 Rete 알고리즘을 이용한 추론엔진을 적용한다. 마지막으로, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 효율성을 평가하기 위해 시뮬레이터를 구성하여 성능을 테스트한다.

A Review on Fire Safety Engineering: Key Issues for High-Rise Buildings

  • This paper presents a state-of-the-art review on the design, research and education aspects of fire safety engineering (FSE) with a particular concern on high-rise buildings. FSE finds its root after Great Fire of Rome in 64 AD, followed by Great London Fire in 1666. The development of modern FSE is continuously driven by industry revolution, insurance community and government regulations. Now FSE has become a unique engineering discipline and is moving towards performance-based design since 1990s. The performance-based fire safety design (PBFSD) involves identification of fire safety goals, design objectives, establishment of performance criteria, and selection of proper solutions for fire safety. The determination of fire scenarios and design fires have now become major contents for PBFSD. To experience a rapid and positive evolution in design and research consistent with other engineering disciplines, it is important for fire safety engineering as a profession to set up a special educational system to deliver the next-generation fire safety engineers. High-rise buildings have their unique fire safety issues such as rapid fire and smoke spread, extended evacuation time, longer fire duration, mixed occupancies, etc., bringing more difficulties in ensuring life safety and protection of property and environment. A list of recommendations is proposed to improve the fire safety of high-rise buildings. In addition, some source information for specific knowledge and information on FSE is provided in Appendix.

지상 및 지하구조물 해체공사를 위한 구조 안전관리 방안 연구 (A Study on Structural Safety Management Plan for Above Ground and Underground Structure Dismantling work)

  • Due to urban regeneration projects or changes in the living environment, there is an increasing need to demolish old buildings that have lost their functions. Demolition of above ground and underground structures is an important construction project that greatly affects the construction period and safety of the entire process. However, it is difficult for the safety officer to manage the demolition work due to the lack of specific and diverse data applicable to the site of the demolition plan. Therefore, in this study, items that need to be improved in structural safety when the above-ground and underground structures are demolished are reviewed and organized. For the main contents of structural safety management in demolition work, 1) structural review reflecting the order of demolition work, 2) installation and dismantling of steel pipe scaffolding and dust nets, 3) installation and dismantling of system scaffolding, 4) installation and dismantling of fall prevention nets, 5) jack support Installation and dismantling, 6) movement of equipment, movement and planning between floors, 7) equipment for demolition of structures, height of remnants, 8) site cleanup, and 9) equipment operators were categorized and arranged.

Morphological studies of fly puparia (Diptera: Calliphoridae) in the soil from a Joseon Dynasty grave in Korea

  • Archaeoentomological investigations were conducted on soil contents from a grave belonging to the Joseon Dynasty as part of the Urban Environment Maintenance Project (UEMP) in Cheongjin 12-16 dong (districts), Jongno-gu, Seoul, Korea, from December 01, 2008 to February 19, 2011. A total of 28 insect puparia with hard shells of the common green bottle fly Lucilia sericata were identified in the soil. Evidence suggested that the corpse was placed outside for some days instead of being buried immediately after death. This is the first report of fly puparia in soil samples from a tomb of the Joseon Dynasty during 16-17 AD in Korea. Our findings may help determine the timeframe of burial and offer archaeological insights into the funerary customs of the period.

제주도 현무암 석분슬러지를 포함한 시멘트 혼합체의 투수특성 (Permeability Characteristics of Cement Mixtures with Powdered Sludge of Basalt in Jeju Island)

  • 본 연구에서는 제주도 내에서 발생되는 현무암 석분슬러지를 차수용 재료로 재활용하기 위하여 현무암 석분슬러지, 시멘트 및 모래 혹은 플라이애쉬(fly ash)를 교반하여 각 혼합비별 투수계수를 측정하였다. 측정결과 플라이애쉬가 포함된 시멘트 혼합체의 경우 플라이애쉬의 함량이 증가함에 따라 시멘트 혼합체의 투수계수는 증가하며, 시멘트 혼합체를 차수재로 활용하기 위해서는 플라이애쉬 함량이 약 8%이하로 적용되어야 한다. 한편 모래가 포함된 시멘트 혼합체의 경우 모래의 함량이 증가함에 따라 시멘트 혼합체의 투수계수는 증가하며, 시멘트 혼합체를 차수재로 활용하기 위해서는 모래의 함량이 약 40%이하로 적용되어야 한다. 플라이애쉬 혹은 모래가 혼합된 석분슬러지 시멘트 혼합체를 서로 비교한 결과 차수재로 재활용하기 위해서는 플라이애쉬를 혼합하는 것 보다는 모래를 혼합하는 것이 더 유리함을 알 수 있다.

  • 지속가능한 국토개발과 지역균형발전을 위하여 세종시(행정중심복합도시), 기업도시(기업중심), 혁신도시(혁신클러스터) 등 다양한 형태의 신도시가 개발되고 있다. 특히, 세종시가 원안대로 추진되게 됨으로써, 혁신도시의 건설은 보다 탄력을 받게 될 전망이다. 기존 수도권의 신도시와는 달리 혁신도시는 공공기관 및 연구기관을 중심으로 혁신클러스터가 조성되고, 주로 지방의 중소도시 및 농촌지역에 신도시가 형성된 다는 측면에서 도시개발의 차이가 있다. 또한 인구는 대부분 2만 내외의 중소규모 신도시 및 신시가지로 개발되고 있다. 그러므로 혁신도시 내의 교육시설 및 문화시설은 도시규모 및 도시기능상 독립적인 수요를 확보하기에는 한계가 있다. 따라서 다양한 시설을 복합화하여 문화수요를 확대하는 것이 바람직하고 기존 모도시와의 공동이용을 도모하는 것이 도시관리의 차원에서 효율적이라고 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 는 다른 혁신도시와는 달리 2개 광역지자체의 공동혁신도시이자 혁신도시 중에서 가장 규모가 큰 신도시형으로 조성되는 나주혁신도시를 사례로, 혁신도시 문화교육시설을 활용한 기능과 공간의 융복합적 복합 문화벨트의 조성을 기존의 분산적 문화시설계획방식에 대한 새로운 대안으로 제시하였다.
