The consumption trend of fashion in modern industrial society is developing from the rapid changes, and the lifespan of fashion products becomes shorter due to the various industrial wastes. Due to the attitude change caused by the ethical consumption consciousness and environment awareness, the up-cycle fashion products got to receive attention, and it is in the limelight as a new trend to realize the sustainable fashion products in the domestic and foreign fashion. The purpose of this study lies in drawing the expression characteristics by investigating and analyzing the cases of each type on the fashion bag products of up-cycle brand, and contributing to the diversification of product family fitting to the characteristics of fashion bag product of up-cycle brand, systematic strategies of up-cycle fashion products, and activation of up-cycle fashion market. In research methods, the theatrical researches were conducted centered the relevant domestic literature materials, preceding papers, etc., which ran paralleled with the actual case analysis study. Through the preceding research and websites related to selected products, websites of up-cycle companies, relevant books, related articles, etc., the expression characteristics of up-cycle fashion bag products were drawn. The results of this study are as follows: First, as it has the feature of historicality, the designs can be created by containing the designer's story, story of materials, and consumer's story. Second, since it has the characteristic of sustainability, the application of manufacturing process and materials, extension of product life, conversion of original material's function, etc. can be sustainable. Third, as it's a trait of scarcity, all products may be produced by hand, and it can have the specialty which the original materials have. Fourth, since it has an eco-friendly trait, even while saving the original materials, the aesthetic needs could be met according to the consumers' continuous demand.
This study approached the leisure with the step of life cycle, analyzing the process of leisure career and leisure development in individual life. The leisure life cycle leads the other related studies by examining the concepts of continuity, change, leisure socialization, and leisure career. It also analyzes the patterns and the structures of the use of life time, using '2004 Time Use Survey' from the Korea National Statistical Office. As a result, this study suggests new 3 steps of leisure life cycle: participating and expanding stages, selective and concentrating stage, and continuing and absorbed stage. These steps set up the goal of leisure program by the periods. They also can help setting the direction of leisure activities, and can be used as basic data that can make up the leisure activity program models step by step. Moreover, the development of model can be used as valuable information to draw up the plans that can prepare for aging society and demand the support of policy.
By measuring changes in blood lactate and plasma enzyme (CPK, GOT, GPT) with electrical stimulation applied at two duty cycles, this study is intended to look into which type of duty cycle may have more effects on blood lactate and plasma enzyme constituents through animal experiment so as to determine any duty cycle appropriate for electrical treatment. In this study, electrical stimulation was applied to total 20 Korean house rabbits (weight: 3~3.5 kg) by means of an electrical therapeutic apparatus called TS6000 (made in Netherlands) at duty cycle of 50% and 20% respectively for 30 minutes. Here, 5 cc of blood was collected from their carotid artery before stimulation and in 30 minutes after stimulation respectively to carry out biochemical experiment and analysis. As determined through the above experiment, blood lactate rate was increased to 333.07% at 50% duty cycle after experiment and 185.71% at 20% duty cycle after experiment respectively. In both cases, blood lactate rate was significantly increased to higher level after electrical stimulation than before. Moreover, the rate of change in the average of blood lactate rate at both duty cycles also showed significant differences. CPK rate was boosted to 301.82% at 50% duty cycle after experiment and 321.35% at 20% duty cycle after experiment respectively. In both cases, CPK rate was remarkably boosted to higher level after stimulation than before (p<.05). However, there was not any significant difference in the rate of change in average CPK at both duty cycles (p<.05). GOT rate was significantly boosted up to 38.97% at 50% duty cycle after experiment (p<.05), while it was slightly increased to 1.68% at 20% duty cycle after experiment without any significant difference. Rather, GPT rate dropped slightly at both duty cycles after experiment, but there was not any significant difference. Although blood lactate and GOT were relatively less generated at 20% duty cycle after electrical stimulation than at 50% duty cycle, the change of duty cycle didn't have any significant influence on CPK rate. In this regard, this study failed to come any consistent conclusion about the association between change of duty cycle and muscle fatigue. Therefore, it is advisable that follow-up studies seek various ways to a little more effectively apply electrical stimulation to laboratory animals by avoiding their muscle fatigue. The aim of this study is to find the change in trend in the eccentricities of two journal bearings supporting the crankshaft of a single cylinder engine and the degree of misalignment of the shaft. We analyze the change in oil film thickness considering the wear scar under mixed-elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication regime at potential wear regions. For this, we first calculate the central eccentricities of the two journal bearings by using the mobility method. Then we calculate the outer end eccentricity by using the geometry of the bearings. Further, the tilting angle and degree of misalignment of the shaft are calculated by using the eccentricities of the two bearings. We show that the eccentricity of bearing #1, on which higher load is applied, increases at the beginning of the start-up cycle and during the coast-down cycle. However, the eccentricity of bearing #2, on which lower load is applied, decreases at the beginning of the start-up cycle and increases during the coast-down cycle. From the results of the analysis of oil film thickness, we show that the mixed-elasto-hydrodynamic lubrication regime for a misaligned shaft is at the initial stages of the start-up cycle for both bearing #1 and #2 and at the final stage of the coast-down cycle for only bearing #1.
To investigate the fatigue characteristic of upper limbs, this study analyzed RMS(root mean square) and MPF(mean power frequency) value between initial and terminal stages of each experiment condition. And the effect of intermittent endurance time was evaluated using the Borg's CR10 value that was measured for the parts of upper limb. According to the results of ANOVA on RMS value, there were significant difference on the %MVC about push, pull, and down force exertion. Particularly the ANOVA of up force exertion was significant difference on shoulder flexion, elbow flexion and rest time as well as %MVC. The results of ANOVA for MPF value were significant difference on the %MVC in regard of the push and up force exertion. In case of up force exertion, MPF value tended to shift low frequency at all of the experiment conditions. According to the analysis of duty cycle, RMS value considerably increased over 50% duty cycle and as the %MVC increased, the duty cycle affected the increase of RMS value. MPF value for up and down force exertion decreased at 33%, 50% and 67% duty cycle for all of %MVC. Borg CR10 value of hand and forearm were below the 3-point to the 40% of endurance time at 30%MVC and to the 20% of endurance time at 50%MVC with the exception of up force exertion. But Borg CR10 values of upper arm and shoulder at up force exertion were more than 3-point to the 20% of endurance time at 30%MVC and in the start point of endurance time at 50%MVC.
One of the undesirable nonlinear phenomenon called 'wind up' occours when the integrator in the controller and the saturated actuator interact. Large overshoot, slow response, instability, limit cycle and jump resonance are the characteristics of wind up phenomenon. Several 'anti-windup' compensators have been developed to prevent some of the aforementioned nonlinear characteristics such as instabilituy and limit cycle, but none has studied the effect of antiwindup compensator on the jump resonance. In this paper, we developed an analyitcal method to design the compensator to prevent not only limit cycle but also jump resonance. An illustrative example is included to show the compensator eliminates jump resonance of effectively.
The purpose of this paper is to verify and validate the maintenance tasks of the construction of a nuclear facility using a digital mock-up and simulation technology instead of a physical mock-up. Prior to the construction of a nuclear facility, a remote simulator that provides the opportunity to produce a complete digital mock-up of the PRIDE (Pyroprocess Integrated Inactive DEmonstration Facility) region and its remote handling equipment, including operations and maintenance procedures has been developed. In this paper, the system architecture and graphic user interface of a remote simulator that coincides with the extraordinary nature of a nuclear fuel cycle facility is introduced. In order to analyze the remote accessibility of a remote manipulator, virtual prototyping that was performed it by using haptic device of external input devices under a 3D full-scale digital mock-up is explained.

Nowadays, with increasing many vehicles on restricted roads, the conventional traffic light creates prove startup-delaytime and end-lag-time. The conventional traffic light loses the function of optimal cycle. And so, 30∼45% of conventional traffic cycle is not matched to the present traffic cycle. In this paper proposes electrosensitive traffic light using fuzzy look up table method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle length for optimal traffic cycle is better than fixed signal method which doesn't consider vehicle length.
We have analyzed a combined cycle employing refrigerant Rankine cycle and simple refrigeration cycle with one working fluid. Although this cycle shows promising aspects such as simplicity, it does not have a good efficiency to compete with the other existing technologies because of high temperature at the exit of the turbine. However, by introducing a recuperator, it is found that the cycle efficiency can be improved up to the level much higher than other technology's efficiency.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide basic data such as development of sustainable support policies and performance management evaluation to support sustainable management of domestic franchises by deriving the sustainable growth cycle of domestic franchises. Research design, data, and methodology: This study is based on systematic review study. We combined search terms such as "Start-up", "Sustainability" and "Success" with four databases, RISS, KISS, e-article and DBpia and searched a total of 1,219 articles published by April 21, 2021. In the process, 35 studies were selected and analyzed after an expert review, excluding documents whose overlapping documents, gray zones (e.g., reports, conference presentations, etc.), degree papers, foreign language literature, and dependent variables were not related to the Sustainability factors. Using ERIS model, which is applied to research on the results of startup, and the franchise's growth cycle, which reflects the growth stage of franchises, we analyzed the factors behind the sustainability of franchise. Result: The results of the study are as follows. First, research on the sustainability of franchise has continued since 2009 in Korea, and has been conducted in various fields such as social welfare in addition to venture, start-up and management. Second, sustainability factors of franchise were analyzed from the ERIS performance model indicating the performance of venture, and the 68 subfactors were derived. Third, it is confirmed that there are important factors that affect the sustainable growth of franchise startups in each franchise's growth cycle. Conclusions: It is significant that through this study, we provided better understanding of the factors that sustain sustainability of franchises, policy suggestions, and presented the direction of future study. Theoretical suggestion is that the main reason for the continuous growth of franchise in each domestic franchise is based on the ERIS performance model. The practical implication is that the headquarters and Franchisor can use it to establish and evaluate performance indicators based on the business growth cycle. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for development and performance management evaluation of franchise start-up support policies to support the sustainable management of domestic franchises.
