During our studies on the diverse endophytic fungi resident on conifer needles, many species of Cladosporium previously unreported in Korea were encountered. In this paper, we report on two species of Cladosporium from the needles of pine trees (Pinus spp.). Based on analyses of internal transcribed spacer gene sequence, and cultural and micromorphological characteristics, they were identified as C. oxysporum and C. sphaerospermum. Both species have not been hitherto reported in Korea.

Alternaria helianthi and two unreported species of Alternaria in Korea were isolated from lesions of Alternaria leaf spot disease of sunflower. The unrecorded species of Alternaria were identified as A. helianthinficients and A. protenta based on the morphological characteristics of conidiophores and conidia. A. helianthi was the dominant species, although all the three species were associated with the disease. A. helianthi, A. helianthinficiens and A. protenta produced similar symptoms on detached sunflower leaves. This is the first report of A. helianthinficiens and A. protenta pathogenic on sunflower in Korea.

The alpheid shrimps collected from Jejudo Island turned out to be a species belonging to the genus Prionalpheus which is an unreported genus from Korean waters. In this paper, Prionalpheus sulu is reported for the first time from Korean waters with description and illustration.

1. 대구인근산 Sarcophagidae와 Calliphoridae 약 6,000 여개체를 채집한 바 9 속 34종을 얻었는데 이중에는 Sarcophagidae 의 한국미기록 1 속 10종 과 Calliphoridae 한국미기록 2 속 2 종이있었다. 2 . 필자가 추가한 15종과 소림('18, '22, '24, '25, '29, '39, '40)와 굴('52) 에 의해 보고된 개지종과 합하면 한국산 Sarcophagidae 는 1 속 26 종 , Calliphoridiae 는 8 속 14 종이 된다.

韓國産 Anopheles 屬 모기는 4種이 現在까지 報告 되었으나 1961年 慶北 安東郡 禮安面에서 A. lindesayi japonicus 와 1964年 全北 沃溝郡에서 처음 A, yatsushiroensis를 發見함을로써 6種의 Anopheles 屬 모기가 記錄되었다. A. lindesayi japonicus는 安東, 榮州와 京畿道 楊平에 分布 되었으며 A, yatsushiroensis는 全北의 沃溝, 金提, 井邑, 충남의 牙山, 京畿道 楊平, 高陽, 경북의 榮州, 安東, 靑松等地에서 採集되는 廣範圍하게 分布되어 있는 一般的인 種類이다. 새로 報告되는 2種의 成蟲암모기의 外部形態와 韓國産 Anopheles의 檢索表를 記錄하였다.

Investigations were performed on the flora, community composition and ecology of the diatoms collected from the water system in the suburbs of Kyungju city from June, 1981 to May, 1982 and from August to September, 1983. Total taxa of 157 were identified as diatoms consisting of 2 orders, 5 suborders, 8 families, 12 subfamilies, 26 genera, 97 species, 54 varieties and 6 forma. Among them 69 taxa were found as unreported ones in Korea. By the creteria of adaptability of these taxa to organic pollution in water, the taxa could classified as 8 of tolerant, 34 of indifferent and 115 of intolerant taxa.

1. 1969년 4월부터 9월까지 지리산 일대의 쉬파리를 조사한 결과 22종이 밝혀졌다. 그중 B. filipjevi는 한국 미기록 종이 었다. 2. 우리나라 Blaesoxipha는 1종이 추가되어 2종이 된다. 3. 우리나라 쉬파리는 1미기록종이 추가되어 34종이 된다.

최근의 새우류 분류학적 연구 결과 딱총새우류 1종이 국내에서는 처음 보고되는 가는손가락딱총새우속 (Salmoneus)에 속하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 가는손가락딱총새우 (Salmoneus gracilipes)를 재기재하고 국내에서 처음 보고한다.

최근의 새우류 분류학적 연구 결과 새우류 1종이 국내에서는 처음 보고 되는 가는손가락새우과 (Stylodactylidae)에 속하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 가는손가락새우 (Parastylodactylus bimaxillaris)를 재기재하고 국내에서 처음 보고한다.
