This is a report on 40 species of the crabs which were collected during the period from July, 1958 to October , 1959 in the estern sea of Korea (East Sea) belonging to Kyungsang-pukto, apart of Kangwondo and Kyungsang -namdo. Among these, 17 915 genera, 8 families) are unrecorded species in the eastern sea and Platymaja wyville-thomsoni MIERS is an unrecorded species in Korea. Korea (Kuryongpo)seems to be the northern limit of the distribution of this species up to the present. 18 hitherto unreported species are added to the 39 known species, the total in the eastern sea being 57 species involved in 41 genera and 13 families, which show 44.5% of presently known 128 species of crabs in Korea.

Chironomid adults attracted to the light were collected at Dangsan-ri, Muju-eup, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do in 2008-2009. Two new species, Lymnophyes parakitanaides sp. nov. and Parakiefferiella mujuensis sp. nov., and four unrecorded species, Cardiolcladius capusinus, Thienemanniella vittata, Conchapelopia pallidula, and Nilotanypus dubius were found and are described with illustrations. The genera Thienemanniella and Nilotanypus have not been previously reported in Korea. The genus Thienemanniella which belongs to Orthocladiinae is characterized by the radial sector retracted and apically fused with the costa, and the genus Nilotanypus which belongs to Tanypodinae is characterized by the absence of $R_{2+3}$, pubescent eyes and lack of the gonocoxal lobes.

Scutellaria tuberifera C. Y. Wu & C. Chen belonging to Lamiaceae, a species previously unrecorded for Korean flora, was collected streamside in the Andeok valley of Seogwipo-Si, on Jeju island. This species can be distinguished from others of Scutellaria from Korea by having rhizomes with leafless and branching stolons at the nodes, globose to ovoid tubers 5-7 mm in diameter at the terminal parts, and stems densely spreading pilose. Photos of the habit and illustration are provided.

Fresh mushrooms were collected during survey field trips to the southern areas of Songnisan National Park for 24 days from April to November in 2002. Through this investigation, a total of 682 fungal collections were obtained and taxonomically amounted to 5 classes, 14 orders, 44 families and 202 species. Among them, six genera Diplomitoporus, Heterochaete, Hydnochaete, Loweporus, Scytinostroma and Tomentellina, and twelve species, Asterostroma cervicolor, Diplomitoporus crustulinus, Fomitopsts cajanderi, Heterochaete delicate, Hydnochaete tabacinoides, Hyphodontia sambuci, Hypoxylon deustum, Lopharia cinerascens, Loweporus roseoalbus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, Scytinostroma odoratum and Tomentellina fibrosa were confirmed as new to Korea and registered here with descriptions.

지금까지 한국에서는 바늘선충아과에 Longidorus sylphus 1종만 알려졌으나 금번 한국산 창선충목의 계통분류학적 연구중, L. litchii, L. himalayensis, Paralongidorus sali 등 3종의 바늘선충이 새로이 발견되어 그 형태적 특징을 기술 도시하였다.

자나방과(科)의 5종(種): 우수리가지나방, Mefeima mediorufa gilva D., 황갈물결자나방, Idiotephria evanescens(S.), 줄점물결자나방, I. debilitata(L.), 각시애기자나방, Scopula modicaria(L.), 노랑띠각시자나방, Polythrena coloraria H.S 등이 우리나라에서는 처음으로 보고되었으며 그외 과거 북한 등지에서 기록되어 왔으나 표본확인이 되지 않았던 8종이 함께 채집 확인되었다.

한국산 미기록과 애기버섯벌레과(Ciidae, Leach)(신칭)에 속한 Octotemnus Melli$\acute{e}$(딱정벌레목: 거저리상과)(신칭)의 분류학적 연구를 수행하였다. 이 속에 속한 Octotemnus laminifrons (Motschulsky)(턱애기버섯벌레)(신칭)와 Octotemnus japonicus Miyatake(일본턱애기버섯벌레)(신칭) 등 2종을 국내에서 처음으로 분류학적으로 검토하고 야외관찰과 실내사육을 통해 숙주버섯을 밝혔다. 각 종에 대한 검색키, 기재문, 진단형질 그림, 성충사진과 숙주버섯을 제공하였다.

A fungus that can capture nematodes by means of sessile adhesive knobs was isolated from rotten wood in Uiseong, Korea. It was found to produce single, spindle-shaped, 3-4 septate (commonly 4-septate) conidia, $44.8\;{\mu}m$ (range, $41.6-50.1\;{\mu}m$) long and $13.3\;{\mu}m$ (range, $10.7-15.4\;{\mu}m$) wide. Conidiophores were found to be hyaline, erect, straight, and $202.7-245.7\;{\mu}m$ high. On the basis of these morphological features, the fungus was identified as Monacrosporium phymatopagum. This is the first report of M. phymatopagum in Korea which can be a potential biological control resource of plant parasitic nematode.

화목류 및 관상수에 기생하는 먼지응애류에 대한 1993년도 조사 중 국내미기록종 Tarsonemus속 4종이 동정되었다. Tarsonemus bilobatus Suski, 1965. T. evodiae Ito, 1964, T. smithi Ewing, 1939, T. takaoensis Ito, 1964 등 4종의 형태적 특징에 대하여 보고한다.

The only record of spider's from Cholla Namdo was made by T. Kambe in 1953. They were collected from Mokpo area which is located south-west coast of Cholla Namdo and included 24 species belonging to 8 families. In this paper are given for the first time a iist of spiders from Kwangju City, inland of Cholla Namdo. wis located at the center of Cholla Namdo. More than 5,000 individual spiders were collected by one of the junior author, J.K. Yoon during autumn in 1570. In spite ef rather large number of spiders were collected, collecting season and the locality are restricted, number of species was reiatit·ely small and many young spiders were undeterminable, A total of 50 species belong to 15 families, including 5 unrecorded species from Korea, were identified. Unrecorded species were as follows: Uloborus yesoensis $(S_{AITO},\;1934)$ Pirate piraticus $(C_{LERCK},\;, 1757)$ Stemmops sp. Trochosa ruricola$(D_E\; G_{EER},\; 1778)$ Erigone koshiensis $O_r$, 1960
