  • The purpose of this study was to understand and describe the demand of applying an anger management program for university students, based on professor-student counseling activity. 2016, data was collected using five focus group interviews were recorded and transcribed. All interviews were recorded and transcribed, and data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. We extracted the following 9 categories across 3 main themes: 1) Views on applying an anger management program based on professor-student counseling activity: required or not required; 2) Competence of the professor: trust, counseling expertise, and receptive attitude; and 3) Effective program management plans: separation from the advisor or reducing the role of the advisor, program composition and contents, administrative support from the university, facilitating a supportive environment for counseling. In conclusion, enhancement can be achieved through an anger management program based on professor-student counseling activity by focusing efforts on increasing interactions between professors and students, and improving the counseling competence of professors. Additionally, administrative support from the university and steps to improve awareness in professors, students, and university authorities are necessary.

  • Recently Professor Lee has suggested the analysis of the indicative conditional based on Sellars-Brandom's inferentialism. In this paper, I raise three questions. First, Professor Lee seems to misunderstand Sellars-Brandom in that he considers only the analytically valid arguments as materially valid inferences. Second, Professor Lee seems to misunderstand Sellars-Brandom in that whereas Sellars-Brandom talks about the common features of all kinds of conditionals including counterfactual conditionals, Professor Lee takes it as the analysis of the indicative conditional only. Third, either Professor Lee's analysis is incompatible with Sellars-Brandom inferentialism or his analysis is too general.

  • The purpose of this study is to verify the mediated effect of academic failure tolerance in the influence of professor support on academic procrastination of university students. A Google survey was conducted on 211 students at D University in Gyeonggi-do, and descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression were conducted using the SPSS program with collected data. The mediated effect of academic failure tolerance has been verified through three stages of regression analysis (Baron and Kenny) and Sobel Test. The results of the study are as follows; First, professor support has a negative correlation with academic procrastination, and a positive correlation with academic failure tolerance. In addition, there was a negative correlation between academic failure tolerance and academic procrastination. Second, it showed that academic failure tolerance has a full mediated effect in the influence of professor support on academic procrastination. This implies that it is necessary to create an educational environment that can raise the level of professor support and academic failure tolerance of university students in the academic situation. Therefore, this study suggested the need of providing a program of professor support that can improve academic procrastination problems and strengthen the academic failure tolerance of students.

The study period was March 1 through 30, 2018. Study subjects were 276 health college students in G university located in G. City. The survey was conducted by the researcher, described the purpose of the study and distributed and collected the questionnaires. The questionnaire consisted of professor trust 27 items, achievement motivation 28 items and self-efficacy 24 items. As a result, professor trust was higher when the grade was lower and the degree of major satisfaction was better, and in order of the division of the health administration, the department of speech-language therapy, and the department of nursing. Achievement motivation was higher in the first grade than in 4th grade and when the degree of major satisfaction was better. Self-efficacy was higher in order of higher grades. Professor trust, achievement motivation, and self-efficacy were correlated with each other, and achievement motivation and self-efficacy influenced the professor trust. The result of this study suggests that the achievement motivation and self-efficacy of college students will be improved based on the mutual trust among the members of the university.

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to compare confidence in practice of intermittent gavage tube feeding and participants' satisfaction by three types of feedback; professor verbal feedback, professor feedback with smartphone video, and peer feedback with smartphone video. In addition, frequently failed items in the intermittent gavage tube feeding procedure were analyzed. Methods: Data were collected from a convenience sample of 78 nursing college students in November 2014. Students were randomly assigned to the control group, experimental group I (smartphone video with professor feedback) or group II (smartphone video with peer feedback). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including chi-square test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test with SPSS 21.0. Results: Confidence in practice of intermittent gavage tube feeding and satisfaction with feedback were highest in experimental group I that had professor feedback with smartphone video. For the procedure, the most frequently failed item was giving an explanation to patients about the purpose and the procedure of tube feeding. Conclusion: The results indicate that professor verbal feedback with smartphone video is the most benefit to the nursing students in acquiring core nursing practice skills.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify and categorize the space use characteristics of the university professor's office. The data were recorded and collected through the physical trace method. Acture Measurement. Photograph, sketch and CAD drawings were used to trace 118 professors offices at Yonse-University. The analysed features were the user characteristics, the size, characteristics of space (such as composition, layout and furniture arrangement), the appliance and the instrument characteristics. To categorize the 'space use' characteristics. 6 variables were used: 1) the territorial characteristics, 2) the spatial relationship between professor's territory and entrance, 3) the layout type of work area, 4) the spatial relationship between professor's and assistant's work area, 5) the arrangement of table, and 6) the completion of sofa set. The results of this study are expected to be used as a basis for the development of design alternatives for the most typical university professors' office.
