This study aims to estimate the forest volumes of the upper region of Nam-Han River in ecosystem zoning by forest types and age classes, and to suggest the optimal estimation method through the comparison of the standard errors according to the spatial unit. In the estimation of forest volumes, we used both of direct estimation, which uses sample plots of the target area only, and synthetic estimation, which includes sample plots of the expanded areas as well as those of the target area. As for the spatial expansion, we applied four standards for synthetic estimator: Mountainous zone, Neighbor ecosystem region, Gangwon province, and Buffer zone. The results show that average forest volume per ha, calculated by direct estimation, was $143.5m^3/ha$, while that by synthetic estimation with each standard, was estimated at $146.9m^3/ha$ by Gangwon province, $144.8m^3/ha$ by Buffer zone, $139.8m^3/ha$ by Neighbor ecosystem region, and $138.6m^3/ha$ by Mountainous zone, respectively. The standard errors of direct estimation was $1.79m^3/ha$, while those of synthetic estimation showed not a great difference among the errors. Meanwhile, considering the standard errors by forest type, the lowest was ${\pm}2.3m^3/ha$ of broad-leaved forest, followed by ${\pm}3.3m^3/ha$ of mixed forest, and ${\pm}4.8m^3/ha$ of coniferous forest.

Microwave dielectric properties of (P $b_{0.4}$C $a_{0.6}$)[($Fe_{\frac{1}{2}}$N $b_{\frac{1}{2}}$)$_{1-x}$ (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)x] $O_3$ (PCFMN) ceramics were investigated as a function of (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)$^{4+}$ content (0.1$\leq$x$\leq$0.8). A single perovskite phase with the cubic structure was obtained through the given composition range. The unit cell volume was increased with (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)$^{4+}$, due to the larger average ionic size of (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)$^{4+}$ than that of ($Fe_{\frac{1}{2}}$N $b_{\frac{1}{2}}$)$^{4+}$ for B-site ion. Dielectric constant (K) and Temperature Coefficient of Resonant Frequency(TCF) of PCFMN ceramics were dependent on (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)$^{4+}$ content due to the decrease of ionic polarizability and B-site bond valence, respectively. Qf value was decreased with (M $g_{1}$ 3/N $b_{2}$ 3/)$^{4+}$ content due to the decrease of grain size. Typically, K of 73.56, Qf of 5,074 GHz and TCF of -6.45 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ were obtained for the specimens with x=0.4 sintered at 125$0^{\circ}C$ for 3 h.125$0^{\circ}C$ for 3 h.

In the present study, mainly to determine the embarkation time of equipment in dredged clay fills, an analytical approach is performed to predict a variation of the undrained shear strength in the outermost layer. In this approach, Gibson's non-dimensional linear constant defining the relationship between the void ratio and the effective stress is employed. Also in this approach, void ratios and settlements associated with the volume change due to the self-consolidation and the desiccation shrinkage are evaluated at various elapsed times based on the finite difference solution technique proposed by the authors(1999) and the developed computer program named as DSCON. Predicted results(water content ratio, unit weight and undrained shear strength) are compared with those of laboratory model tests conducted with soil samples obtained from the Koheung site. Based on the predicted undrained shear strengths, possible embarkation time of a equipment is also evaluated. In addition, further analyses are made to indirectly verify the efficiency of the analytical approach proposed in the present study using the PSDDF computer program which can consider the drainage efficiency.
In this paper, commercial CFD program FLUENT v5.3 is used for simulation of MCFC stack. Besides using conservation equations included in FLUENT by default, mass change, mole fraction change and heat added or removed due to electrochemical reactions and water gas shift reaction are considered by adding several equations using user defined function. The stacks calculated are 6 and 25 kW class coflow stack which are composed of 20 and 40 unit cells respectively. Simulation results showed that pressure drop took place in the direction of gas flow, and the pressure drop of cathode side is more larger than that of anode side. And the velocity of cathode gas decreased along with the gas flow direction, but the velocity of anode gas increased because of the mass and volume changes by the chemical reactions in each electrodes. Simulated temperature profile of the stack tended to increase along with the gas flow direction and it showed similar results with the experimental data. Water gas shift reaction was endothermic at the gas inlet side but it was exothermic at the outlet side of electrode respectively. Therefore water gas shift reaction played a role in increasing temperature difference between inlet and outlet side of stack. This results suggests that the simulation of large scale commercial stacks need to consider water gas shift reaction.
Why are auctions so prevalent in fisheries fields\ulcorner One answer is, perhaps, that fisheries products have no standard value. The price of any catch of fish (at least of fish destined for the fresh fish market) depends on the demand and supply conditions at a specific moment of time, influenced by prospective market developments and prices must be remade for each transaction. There are various auction schemes including written-bid method in Korea. It is difficult to make decision the application of auction selling in market distribution. One reason is the absence of adequate data on which to base firm statements. There is very little precise information about the relative volume handled by auction scheme as compared with other sales schemes Because of the paucity reliable data, one must depend largely on qualitative in attempting to above this problem. This paper is designed to examine which auction scheme is more efficient as a economic tool by introducing the three auctions, as samples, utilized in Koheung peninsula. Koheung coast with abundant fisheries resource, locates on the Middle-South part in Korea and has three auction firm operating by fisheries cooperatives. fur selling of dry fish included sea weed, live fish and fresh fish respectively, As a result, 1 found that there are three interesting auction schemes as follow : 1. More than one winners are selected as buyers. The highest bidder can at first get fishes he wants to buy, second winner can get surplus fishes after the highest bidder employes one's privilege with the highest pay, and next winner would be a buyer if fishes would be left in sequence after being sold with higher price. Every fisherman can sell one' s fishes with equal unit price if he delivery it to the winner within one day. Therefore, all the vendors feel they are equal members of fisheries cooperation. 2. Written-bid pricing on the cover of handy book. It is easy to write and to erase the figure more than on the small black board, and is convenient also to keep in the pocket. 3. Auctioning on the fixed platform with fixed fish tank is a very fast auction scheme in spite of short displaying time. Auctioneer presides bidding at one place on the fixed platform, instead of moving, vendors should carry a container of live fishes in the fish tank into showing table in front of would-be buyers and auctioneer. Although the applicability of the auction system to a marketing problem depends in part on subjective considerations by those making decision, basically it is a matter of comparative economic efficiency. In general, if the scheme maximizes returns in relation to the effort expanded by both buyers and sellers, it will be utilized. If it does not, a more efficiency may take place over a period of time, but, even more important, those making decisions may become aware of the potentialities of new schemes. Therefore, in order to applicate the three interesting auction schemes introduced in this paper to other fisheries market, it is necessary not only to analyze many other auction schemes but also to compare the economic efficiency those schemes utilizing in other fisheries market.
The encapsulatpd A. niger grew up inside the capsule and mycelia penetrated through the pore of the capsule membrane. The mycelia on the capsule wall became loose when the carbon source and oxygen were deficient in the medium. On the contrary, the production rate increased and mycelia made a lump tightly when the carbon source and oxygen were sufficient. Namely, number of proper capsule of unit volume in the medium was existed. The phenomenon which was swelled of capsule membrane in cultivation could prevented by adding CaCl2 into the medium. According to the time adding CaCl2 into the medium, the production rate of citric acid was influenced. In case of adding CaCl2 into the medium at 7th day cultivation, the production yield of citric acid was increased about 40 percent higher than that of adding CaCl2 initially. The production yield of citric acid using encapsulated A. niger of flask culture was influenced with oxygen supply. The production yield of citric acid ($\Delta$p/$\Delta$s) of the flask culture was increased 3.88 time by using T-flask instead of parafilm sealed flask. Therefore, the productivity and consumption rate concerning production which was taken carbon source were increased when oxygen supply was sufficient. The production of citric acid using encapsulated A. niger was increased average 30 percent higher than that of bead in between 6th and 13th day cultivation.

Of all the site logistics technologies in high-rise building construction, both vertical and horizontal move plan, are the most imperative factors. And the horizontal plan follows lift-up plan as of the vertical plan. However though it may be, temporary lifts on site are numbered by heuristic formulas. The quantity of finishing material cannot be converted into lift-up load per finishing material. The lift-up plan cannot be evaluated the feasibility for finishing material move plan by a reasonable evaluation methodology. The horizontal plan is far from the vertical one. And the information as an input data for the horizontal plan is devoid of package unit size, length, and volume per finishing material. These can hardly result in reasonable and detail decision on how much to use temporary lifts, how long to use these, and where to deposit each finishing material. Therefore, this study is to suggest a decision-making model that can integrate vertical and horizontal material move plan in high-rise building construction and make a decision the plans systematically. And the study is to explain the concept, methodology, and contents of the model applied to a virtual project, named as MT 130 (Millennium Tower 130). By the model, the planner can shift his/her thinking framework on site logistics management products-oriented Into process-oriented. He/she can manage a project by the framework as system thinking, evaluate the feasibility of a lift-up plan, and decide the horizontal plan integrated with the lift-up.

The purpose of the present study was to develop and evaluate patient-customized helmets with a three-dimensional (3D) printer for radiation therapy of malignant scalp tumors. Computed tomography was performed in a case an Alderson RANDO phantom without bolus (Non_Bolus), in a case with a dental wax bolus on the scalp (Wax_Bolus), and in a case with a patient-customized helmet fabricated using a 3D printer (3D Printing_Bolus); treatment plans for each of the 3 cases were compared. When wax bolus was used to fabricate a bolus, a drier was used to apply heat to the bolus to make the helmet. $3-matic^{(R)}$ (Materialise) was used for modeling and polyamide 12 (PA-12) was used as a material, 3D Printing bolus was fabricated using a HP JET Fusion 3D 4200. The average Hounsfield Unit (HU) for the Wax_Bolus was -100, and that of the 3D Printing_Bolus was -10. The average radiation doses to the normal brain with the Non_Bolus, Wax_Bolus, and 3D Printing_Bolus methods were 36.3%, 40.2%, and 36.9%, and the minimum radiation dose were 0.9%, 1.6%, 1.4%, respectively. The organs at risk dose were not significantly difference. However, the 95% radiation doses into the planning target volume (PTV) were 61.85%, 94.53%, and 97.82%, and the minimum doses were 0%, 77.1%, and 82.8%, respectively. The technique used to fabricate patient-customized helmets with a 3D printer for radiation therapy of malignant scalp tumors is highly useful, and is expected to accurately deliver doses by reducing the air gap between the patient and bolus.
Grinding aid is a necessary unit operation when the raw materials are handled in solid form, and the purpose is to improve the bioavailability by reducing the particle size. For the particle design of pefloxacin, the dry planetary ball-mill was used. With the drying process, 330 g of zirconia ball with its size of 2 mm in diameter and 10 g of pefloxacin were transferred to the pot and mixed well. The mixture was ground at 112 rpm (60 Hz) for 15, 30, and 60 min, respectively. The most satisfactory grinding products were generated at 15 min of grinding time for their particle size. The volume mean diameter $\X_50$ of the grinding products was 2.97 $\mu$m. X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and infrared spectroscopy (IR) patterns were relatively unchanged before pulverizing pefloxacin and in the progress of grinding. Thus, these results suggest that this pulverizing method can be used for grinding products without evident effect on stability of the drug pefloxacin. Dissolution test was carried out to set up the optimal detective condition against residual antibacteria of fish by HPLC. The grinding pefloxacin for 15 min is most effective in dissolution test.
One of the most critical issues in sol id oxide fuel cell (SOFC)running on hydrocarbon fuels is the risk of carbon formation from the fuel gas. The simple method to reduce the risk of carbon formation from the reactions is to add steam to the fuel stream, leading to the carbon gasification react ion. However, the addition of steam to fuel is not appropriate for the auxiliary power unit (APU) and potable power generation (PPG) systems due to an increase of complexity and bulkiness. In this regard, many researchers have focused on so-called 'direct methane' operation of SOFC, which works with dry methane without coking. However, coking can be suppressed only by the operation with a high current density, which may be a drawback especially for the APU and PPG systems. The single chamber fuel cell (SC-SOFC) is a novel simplification of the conventional SOFC into which a premixed fuel/air mixture is introduced. It relies on the selectivity of the anode and cathode catalysts to generate a chemical potential gradient across the cell. Moreover it allows compact and seal-free stack design. In this study, we fabricated honeycomb type mixed-gas fuel cell (MGFC) which has advantages of stacking to the axial direction and increasing volume power density. Honeycomb-structured SOFC with four channels was prepared by dry pressing method. Two alternative channels were coated with electrolyte and cathode slurry in order to make cathodic reaction sites. We will discuss that the anode supported honeycomb type cell running on mixed gas condition.
