This study reported on the cases about gender inequality in agriculture. Generally women have experienced something in vague situation as unequal to men in rural and agriculture. Despite of some women's have been complaining about this problem, it is not easy why and how many times they have been suffering. In this report, to get the information of gender unequality in agricultural laws and policies, the data was gathered by two steps. The first step, 175 cases into nine types was collected from leaders of several women farmer's associations, and after that, 60 cases selected to be interviewed by a specialist panel. The second step, it was analyzed the interviewed 60 cases based on real conditions compared with laws of items of policies. Among the cases, it was analyzed 8 rural women's who had been experienced to receive the inappropriate compensation in an unexpected accidents. From these cases, it was drew up some suggestions as follows; to make a rule to certify of the identity of woman farmer, and to build in a monitoring system of gender equality in agriculture.
Compared with the highway bridges, the relatively higher requirement on the safety and comfort of vehicle makes the high-speed railway (HSR) bridges need to present enhanced dynamic performance. To this end, installing a health monitor system (HMS) on selected key HSR bridges has been widely applied. Typically, the HSR takes fully enclosed operation model and its skylight time is very short, which means that it is not easy to operate the acquisition devices and download data on site. However, current HMS usually involves manual operations, which makes it inconvenient to be used for the HSR. Hence, a HMS named DASP-MTS (Data Acquisition and Signal Processing - Monitoring Test System) that integrates the internet, cloud computing (CC) and virtual instrument (VI) techniques, is developed in this study. DASP-MTS can realize data acquisition and transmission automatically. Furthermore, the acquired data can be timely shared with experts from various locations to deal with the unexpected events. The system works in a Browser/Server frame so that users at any places can obtain real-time data and assess the health situation without installing any software. The developed integrated HMS has been applied to the Xijiang high-speed railway arch bridge. Preliminary analysis results are presented to demonstrate the efficacy of the DASP-MTS as applied to the HSR bridges. This study will provide a reference to design the HMS for other similar bridges.

This study examines how economic preparation for later life directly influences life after retirement. As people's life cycle is gradually getting longer, preparation for the later time with less economic activity after retirement is becoming more important. Thus, this study analyzes the factors influencing life after retirement. Data comes from the Korean Retirement and Income Study (KReIS) surveyed carried out by the National Pension Research Institute in 2015. The analysis includes Cronbach's alpha, Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Sobel Test. This study confirms that voluntary retirement has a positive influence on life satisfaction. Results are in line with previous research about the relationship between voluntary retirement and retired life. When a person retires voluntarily, financial preparation can be made in advance for retirement. In case of involuntary retirement, people may experience a sense of loss in personal standing and financial difficulties due to the unexpected situation. Especially, early retirement from the main workplace leads to unstable later life. The study's policy recommendation, in particular, calls on government and businesses to agree on social responsibility for helping employees to retire in the predictable retirement time and, thus, enabling the retiree to decide all aspects of the path after retirement.
Bimodal tram is a transit with no-step floor for wheel-chaired persons, with docking to the station precisely and moving on schedule like train. Because of the automatic traveling of bimodal tram to search and follow the magnet embedded in roadway, bimodal tram should be careful about rainfall, snow and wind like a car driving on roadway in respect to natural disasters. Though response procedures in emergency are different according to the passengers' boarding, emergency mobilization is needed if any emergency situation happens. Emergency mobilization is the act of preparing for major catastrophic events, which may affect public transportation systems or their service areas, by assembling and organizing resources, including people, equipment, facilities, communications systems, expert technical support, and public information systems and protocols. Mobilization is the process that ensures that the right people will deploy appropriate resources at the correct time. Effective mobilization requires a partnership of local and state agencies. Public transportation operators and systems play vital roles in response to and recovery from emergencies and other unexpected catastrophic events. These systems, and their capabilities to mobilize resources, are profoundly affected by the decisions and directives of others during these activities. In this study, we focused on the emergency management for bimodal tram and reviewed the considerations about infrastructures under natural disasters, especially heavy rainfall.

These days, geographic information system has released in everyday life and industries. However, the shipyard only uses it to manage the layout of the yard. In this study, we apply the Geographic Information System to shipbuilding block logistics simulation to analyse the behavior of bogies and forklifts carrying blocks and materials in the shipyard. The shipyard manages daily block logistics plans at the execution planning stage. However, since it is a daily plan, it is difficult to respond to an unexpected situation immediately, and application to judge a certain value or higher value is insufficient. Therefore, a simulation model was created using the shape and attribute information inherent in the geographic information system to verify and improve the block logistics of the mid-and long-term yards. Through this simulation model, we will analyse loads on the workplace, stockyard, and road, and contribute to overall logistics improvement from the point of view of resource planning. In addition, the results of the simulation are reflected in the planning, to help support various decisions.

The trend of globalization and the development of the communication-Information technology not only complexified the supply chain, but also, led to the needs of the high quality of logistics service for customers. I t defines risks that can occur in truck transport under unexpected situation with Fault Tree Analysis(FTA) and calculates failure rate concerning relationship between each risks. Based on the 4 kinds of middle failure events that defined in FTA, Reliability function which is regarded about risks sequentiality and time flow is resulted in. I t is meaningful that it calculates reliability of logistics and transportation system with engineering methodology.

A fundamental function of court sport shoes was considered as the protection of human feet from unexpected injuries. But, recently its role for improving the playing competency has been regarded as of more importance. In connection of this situation, intensive efforts are world-widely forced on the development of court sport shoes proving the excellent playing competency by taking kinesiology and biomechanics into consideration. However, the success of this goal depends definitely on the shoes design based upon the reliable evaluation of shoes functional parts. This paper addresses the application of finite element method to the evaluation of landing impact force of court sport shoes. In order to reflect the coupling effect between leg and shoes accurately and effectively, we construct a fully coupled shoes-leg FEM model which does not rely on the independent experimental data any more. Through the numerical experiments, we assess the reliability of the coupled FEM model by comparing with the experimental results and investigate the landing impact characteristics of court sport shoes.

This paper proposes an autolanding guidance and control algorithm with the lateral guidance law. This algorithm is basically formulated and designed in feedback linearization based on singular perturbation. Main features of this algorithm are two facts. One of those is that when a certain situation happens that airplane must realign to the runway suddenly assigned due to unexpected environment change around the landing site, the heading guidance in this algorithm is very valuable, and the other is the fact that the inner loop control of this algorithm is able to be designed directly based on the Handling Quality Requirements that most flight control systems must be satisfied with. To illustrate the potential of this algorithm, 6-DOF nonlinear simulation based on the nonlinear airplane model shown in Ref.[11] is carried out. The simulation results showed that the altitude response to the given landing trajectory is accurate, and the airplane heading alignment to the assigned runway from the lateral deviation is successful. It is noted that this algorithm is also applicable to unmanned aerial vehicle, which can be retrieved in autolanding technique, where the runway far retrieving the vehicle is in any direction for example at war field.
The change in the design-basis refueling strategy caused by the unexpected nuclear fuel failures may result in discharging intact fuel assemblies which were irradiated in the positions symmetric to the failed ones in addition to the failed ones in order to maintain the symmetric power shape in the reactor core. In this work an attempt is made to reuse the intact fuel assemblies which were discharged before reaching the design turnup in the above-described situation so as to improve the fuel utilization. The TDCORE code is used to estimate the flux and power distribution, and the RELOAD-II code for searching the optimal loading pattern with the minimum assembly radial power peaking factor. For the case of the Ko-ri unit 1, its third cycle turnup could be extended to 11,648 MWD/MTU by reusing the four low-burned fuel assemblies removed at the end of the first cycle, and then the loading pattern is searched to the equilibrium cycle.
When excavation under existing structure is planned for a new construction project, the underpinning method is one of the most applicable construction methods. This study introduces a new modified underpinning method which is applied to construct a new subway line in Seoul Metropolitan. The new subway line was designed to pass underneath the existing subway line. Existing subway line carries about 2 million passengers daily, which is 33% of total passengers using subway in Seoul, and is the only circulation line in Seoul. Subway trains are passing 540 times through this section in a day. By applying a new underpinning method, the subway box structure of line is exposed 54m in the air supported by bearing piles. The proposed method was carefully monitored using heavy instrumentation system during construction. This study proposed and verified the application of the modified underpinning method, which can reduce construction period by 1.5 times and the construction cost by 1.2 times comparing with conventional method. The importance of considering construction sequence is investigated and verified by analyzed data non-considering construction sequence. The unexpected heaving which can bring up a dangerous situation for train running stability were measured, so this study shows that the upward movement has to be analyzed in designing process. As the use of underground space increases, the proposed method can be a good example of underground development.
