18GHz 차지상간통합데이터전송 시스템의 지하 및 지상구간 무선특성 분석 (A Analysis on wireless performance of unified data transmission in a subway and railway)

  • 차지상간 통합데이터전송 시스템에서 사용하는 18GHz는 다중경도페이딩의 영향이 크고, 회절이 되지 않아 전파의 도달 범위가 송신각과 수신각에 따라 크게 영향 받는다. 본 논문은 차지상간통합데이터전송 시스템에서 지하구간의 전파 특성과 지상 구간의 전파 특성을 비교하였다. 18GHz 차지상통합데이터전송 시스템에 주로 사용되는 지향성 무선안테나인 이득이 15dBi 와 10dBi인 안테나를 사용했을 경우를 가정하여 반경이 100, 200, 400인 선로에 대하여 표준적인 특성을 지상선로구간과 지하터널구간으로 나누어 비교하였다. 이때 송수신 특성은 한국철도기술연구원의 차지상간통합전송의 OFDM모뎀방식의 샘플시료의 송신 출력은 20dBm, 수신감도는 -90dBm을 사용하여 시뮬레이션하였다.

쉴드터널 내부에 작용하는 열차진동 영향에 관한 수치해석적 연구 (A numerical study on the effect of train-induced vibration in shield tunnel)

  • 다양한 종류와 크기의 하중이 터널에 재하되는데, 본 연구에서는 쉴드 터널 내부에 작용하는 열차 진동하중이 연약 사질지반에 미치는 영향을 3차원 수치모델에 의하여 수치해석적으로 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 사인함수와 열차제원을 이용하여 열차진동의 형상과 주파수를 산정하고 속도충격률 및 노반압력을 계산하여 열차진동하중을 획득하였다. 계산된 열차진동하중을 3차원 유한차분해석망에 재하하여 Finn model을 이용한 유효응력해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 시간에 따른 과잉간극수압이력을 산정하였고 과잉간극수압비를 이용하여 액상화 가능성을 판정하였다. 그 결과 열차진동하중에 의하여 과잉간극수압이 발생함을 확인하였으나, 발생 정도는 미미함을 확인하였다.

Assessment of London underground tube tunnels - investigation, monitoring and analysis

  • Tube Lines has carried out a "knowledge and investigation programme" on the deep tube tunnels comprising the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines, as required by the PPP contract with London Underground. Many of the tunnels have been in use for over 100 years, so this assessment was considered essential to the future safe functioning of the system. This programme has involved a number of generic investigations which guide the assessment methodology and the analysis of some 5,000 individual structures. A significant amount of investigation has been carried out, including ultrasonic thickness measurement, detection of brickwork laminations using radar, stress measurement using magnetic techniques, determination of soil parameters using CPT, pressuremeter and laboratory testing, installation of piezometers, material and tunnel segment testing, and trialling of remote photographic techniques for inspection of large tunnels and shafts. Vibrating wire, potentiometer, electro level, optical and fibre-optic monitoring has been used, and laser measurement and laser scanning has been employed to measure tunnel circularity. It is considered that there is scope for considerable improvements in non-destructive testing technology for structural assessment in particular, and some ideas are offered as a "wish-list". Assessment reports have now been produced for all assets forming Tube Lines' deep tube tunnel network. For assets which are non-compliant with London Underground standards, the risk to the operating railway has to be maintained as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) using enhanced inspection and monitoring, or repair where required. Monitoring techniques have developed greatly during recent years and further advances will continue to support the economic whole life asset management of infrastructure networks.

대심도 지하정거장에서 수직구 위치에 따른 수치적 연구 (NUMERICAL STUDY WITH VENT SHAFT POSITION IN UNDERGROUND STATION)

  • When a high-speed train passes an underground station, large pressure waves are generated due to the piston effect. These pressure waves can cause the problems of vibration and noise as well as the ear discomfort of passengers at the underground station. This work numerically analyzed the pressure wave generation and propagation in an high-speed railway underground station, and the optimal location for vent shafts was studied to improve the passenger comfort by reducing the magnitude of the pressure wave and its rate of change. The evolution of pressure field in the underground station was calculated using a CFD(Computational Fluid Dynamics) software(Fluent), where the axis-symmetric two-dimensional model verified by Wu was used. And this study is applied to modelling of the underground station and the tunnel from Daegok station A-line of GTX(Great Train Express). From the result, we can have a conclusion that the role of vent shafts respectively were different according to the position in and out the underground station. Also Vent shaft in the underground station widely reduced pressure magnitude. And vent shaft out underground station reduced initial pressure peak value. Double vent shafts installed at tunnel toward station entrance and inside of the tunnel are the most efficient to reduce pressure. and pressure reduction increases according to the number of vent shaft.

  • Power Supply System for electric railways is diversified with technical development and is required high technologies. especially, recently there is required many research and development for earthing to ensure safety of people and protection of installations. Generally, leakage resistance is high between rail and ground at tunnel section of subway. because of short circuit of feeding line, earthing interference by transient overvoltage between signals and communication system, and insulation failure, it can damage to human and equipments To minimize these obstacles, earthing equipment is installed at underground section of railway, but it brings about problems in accordance with operate each earthing system to be not enough required protection provisions for electrified railways. This paper proposes effective earthing method to be concerned about installation cost and maintenance. The validity of the proposed earth method is verified by simulation results at underground section of railways.

  • After the historic opening of the first section of KTX(Korea Train eXpress), it has been made changes three times in a plan to pass through cities of Daejeon, Daegu in the construction of the high speed train's second section(underground${\to}$ on ground${\to}$ under ground${\to}$ on ground). Thereafter, it has been repeatedly argued that the plan to pass through underground caused many problems such as prevention of an accident in tunnel, the difficulty of maintainence, the disadvantage of passengers' moving line. Thus construction on ground plan is coming up again with relation to the interest among local people. There have been lots of national budget loss, construction period delay in this project and people hardly trust policies about national project and nor do engineers. It will be presented that the railway line which is accorded with the characteristics of region, an agreement with local communities about national project, the reasonable procedure to determine how to pass through cities, resolve the conflict among neighborhood, and the role of engineers.

고속철도에서 슬릿커버후드의 터널 미기압파 저감성능에 관한 연구(II) (Experimental Study on the Slit Cover Hood for Reducing the Micro Pressure Waves in High-speed Train-tunnel Interfaces)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고속철도 터널 입구에 슬릿 커버 후드를 적용하여, 고속열차 터널 진입시 터널 출구 쪽에서 방사되는 미기압파를 저감시키는데 있다. 경부고속철도 $107m^2$의 단면적을 갖는 슬라브 궤도 0.5 km 터널에 대하여 슬릿 커버 후드라는 구조물 대책을 마련하였다. 개발시험 결과는 터널 입구에만 후드를 설치했을 경우 미기압파가 최대 41.2 %가 저감되었으며, 터널 입구에 후드를 설치하고 출구에 $45^{\circ}$ 경사갱구를 설치했을 경우는 47.7 %가 저감되었다.

Experimental investigation of earth pressure on retaining wall and ground settlement subjected to tunneling in confined space

  • To study the influences of tunneling on the earth pressure and ground settlement when the tunnel passes through the adjacent underground retaining structure, 30 two-dimensional model tests were carried out taking into account the ratios of tunnel excavation depth (H) to lateral width (w), excavation width (B), and excavation distance using a custom-made test device and an analogical soil. Tunnel crossing adjacent existing retaining structure (TCE) and tunnel crossing adjacent newly-built retaining structure (TCN) were simulated and the earth pressure variations and ground settlement distribution during excavation were analyzed. For TCE condition, the earth pressure increments, maximum ground settlement and the curvature of the ground settlement curve are negatively related to H/B, but positively related to H/s and H/w. For TCN condition, most trends are consistent with TCE except that the earth pressure increments and the curvature of ground settlement curve are negatively related to H/w. The maximum ground settlement is larger than that observed in tunnel crossing the existing underground structure. This study provides an assessment basis for the design and construction under confined space conditions.

  • Recently, the tunnel structures are increasing. And the tunnels are to be large diameter tunnel and long. Therefore, inspection, repair, and maintenance of tunnels are an extremely important part of infrastructure management, with particular technical and safety considerations arising from the very nature of underground construction. To inspect surface state of tunnels, concrete structures, it must generally use method of conventional visual inspection, but this method is very not objective. To measure the width, length, position, direction of a crack, it is very difficult, when the tunnel is long span and high rise. Thus, to make up for this demerits, in this paper is proposed the Tunnel Scanning System that we can check conditions of the tunnel structures quickly, detect the detailed data objectively, count automatically the width of a crack by the original software and follow the trend of long tenn changes in the condition of a tunnel.

고속주행시 철도터널내 공기압 특성에 관한 기초연구 - 미기압(MPW)을 중심으로 (A study on the characteristics for aerodynamics at high speed in railway tunnels - focused on the micro pressure wave)

  • 열차가 고속으로 터널을 진입할 때 압축파가 발생하게 된다. 이 압축파가 터널 출구부에 도달하면 일부는 외부로 방출되고 일부는 팽창파의 형태로 반사되어 터널내부로 전파된다. 이러한 파는 충격파의 형태로 외부로 방출되는데, 이를 미기압(micro pressure wave)이라고 한다. 미기압파는 터널 출구부에 소음 및 진동문제를 일으키며, 이 현상이 클수록 민가 및 주변 유리창에 손상과 거주자의 불안을 일으키는 원인이 된다. 따라서 고속철도 건설을 위해서는 미기압에 대한 대책과 이에 대한 예측이 필요한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 운영중인 터널에서의 미기압 측정사례와 터널내 압력기울기에 대한 수치해석을 통하여, 차량의 전두부 형상 및 터널 갱구부 형상에 따른 영향을 분석하였다. 그 결과로, 본 연구에서는 미기압파의 강도를 예측하는 방법을 제시하였으며, 이를 통해서 터널 연장과 단면적에 따른 미기압 강도를 해석하였다.
