A Consideration on 3-Phase Non-Loop, Multiple-Point Ground Method in 22.9[kV] CNCV Underground Cable Systems (22.9[kV] CNCV케이블 지중배전계통의 3상 비일괄 동심증성선 다중접지방식에 대한 이론적고찰)

  • In 22.9[kV]-y distribution systems, underground cables are provided with 3-wire loop multiple-point ground in which each coaxial-neutral line of the distribution cable lines(A, B, C phases) is 3-wire common grounded at every connecting section. In the underground cable distribution systems, circulating current flows in the coaxial-neutral lines and its magnitude amounts to about $40{\sim}50[%]$ load currents, even though loads are balanced. This paper presents a new ground method to overcome such a problem and a comprehensive analysis in tows of current capacity of power cables, induced voltage of cable sheath, and electromagnetic interference voltage from power cable lines.

  • In reccent years the large capacity underground power transmission systems have been required gradually with the increasing demand of electric power, the increasing electric power system and the environmental limitations of an overhead transmission line in the city. But it is difficult to get the space for the underground power transmission lines because of complicated distributions of underground public facilities. But as the superconducting power cables have the large power transmission capacity, the high power transmission density, and low loss characteristics in comparison with a conventional cable, the necessity for their development are increasing. In this paper, the results of the conceptual design of HTS power cable is described.

  • This paper introduces the real-time soil thermal property analyzer and temperature measuring system which is combined with radio telecommunication technique. To measure the thermal parameters in real-time, the radio telecommunication technique are used the personal communication service (PCS) which is in the world-wide serviced commercially firstly by CDMA. The thermal property analyzer has an ability of measuring thermal resistivity, thermal diffusivity and thermal stability. To estimate the soil thermal properties, the curve fitting algorithm by means of the least square method are used. TCP/IP protocol and MTM are used to install the real-time soil thermal property and temperature measurement system at multiple locations along routes of the underground power cables and to reduce the cost of telecommunication.

  • Many unbalanced factors of underground transmission power cable, such as burying types and the length difference of the cable between each minor section, etc will cause the impedance unbalance and excessive circulating current between cables. So this paper presents the analysis of sheath circulating current in accordance with the distance between the center conductors and phase arrangement. ground resistance value changes on 154kV transmission system. Based on these simulation results, this paper will contribute to the reduction method of sheath circulation current.

In the thesis. air void. silicone oil. of which may possibly exist real cables. are simulated by Electra 2D program. Also the relations between calculated field strength and the void defect type in the cable joint materails. In the modeling. electic field inner to the cable joint material composed by XLPE and EPDM is modeling simulated. We obtained the electric field distribution in void due to two conditions.
