유비쿼터스 시대의 청소년 의복문화 - UFC(Ubiquitous Fashionable Computer) 패션 상품에 대한 수용 가능성을 중심으로 - (Adolescents' Clothing Culture in the Ubiquitous Era - Focused on Receptiveness about UFC(Ubiquitous Fashionable Computer) Fashion Products -)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve ubiquitous fashion design which adolescents can be satisfied with. The methods of this study are documentary research of previous studies, survey research and deep interviews. For this study 371 students are selected as samples of survey. As a result of this study, we could know that the adolescents of the 21st century are enjoying actively the culture of consumers and the culture of information era. Domestic adolescents have much knowledge and interest in information and in UFC fashion products. So we can predict that domestic adolescents' interest and desire of UFC fashion products will increase gradually. As for using occasions, adolescents will use UFC fashion products for 'mobile', 'exercise', 'social followship', and as for using purposes, they will use UFC fashion products for 'listening to music', 'playing games', 'communication', 'search for information', etc. So when we develop UFC fashion products for adolescents, we'd rather develop the products for entertainment than for studying. To satisfy the various tastes of adolescents, UFC fashion products must also consider the design factors like styles, colors, materials, etc. In conclusion all UFC fashion products for adolescents must have not only the basic qualities like functions and conveniences, but also the qualities of designs.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 로봇 자동화 서비스를 위한 계층적 아키텍처 (A Layered Architecture for Robot Automated Services on Ubiquitous Computing Environments)

  • In ubiquitous computing environments, users want to receive the robot services regardless of various physical status or devices such as time, place, various sensors, and high-performance servers. Thus, the ubiquitous service robots have to provide users with automated services according to situational information that they properly recognize. Beyond these problems, robot software has to establish a foundation to support the functions with the network infrastructure that are not able to be solved by a single independent resource. On the basis of a robot middleware that is capable of minimizing dependencies among hierarchy structures, the robot software also has to provide execution environment to control the flow of robot application services. In this paper, we propose a layered architecture to provide users with automated services through ubiquitous robots. The proposed architecture is based on CAWL (Context-Aware Workflow Language) and RSEL (Robot Services Execution Language). CAWL easily represents the flow of robot services from user application service levels, and RSEL is able to support the composition and reusability of robot services through abstraction of robot device services. In our experiments, we applied the proposed architecture to an example of "booth guide robot service".

  • 유비쿼터스 홈 환경(UHE: Ubiquitous Home Environment)에서의 멀티미디어 서비스에서는 사용자의 직접적인 명령 없이 자동적으로 실행되는 지능화된 서비스 와 각각의 사용자에 맞는 맞춤형 서비스, 사용자 편의성 및 투명성, 이종 디바이스간 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 상호 호환성 등의 요구사항이 증가할 것이다. 또한, 이에 적합한 멀티미디어 보호 관리 및 인증 권한관리 방식 등이 필요 할 것이다. 본 논문에서는 UHE에 적합한 인증방식을 제안$\cdot$적용하며, 이종 기기간 멀티미디어 상호 운용성을 보장하며, 센서모듈과 홈서버를 이용한 상황정보(사용자 취향 정보, 디바이스정보 등)를 지능적으로 처리하고, 투명하고 안전한 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 사용자 중심 멀티미디어서비스(UHMS: Ubiquitous Home Multimedia Service)를 제안한다.

  • 오늘날 우리는 유비쿼터스 도서관 시대를 맞이할 준비를 하고 있다. 본고에서는 도서관이 미래에는 어떤 모습이며, 어떻게 발전하는가를 알아보기 위해 디지털 도서관의 발전적 개념을 가지고 있는 하이브리드 도서관, 게이트웨이 도서관, 유비쿼터스 도서관의 개념과 주요 프로젝트에 대하여 고찰하였다. 특히 하이브리드 도서관의 eLib 프로그램과 하버드대학 도서관. 펜주립대학교의 게이트웨이 도서관 프로젝트 및 카네기멜론대학교, 메릴랜드대학교 도서관의 유비쿼터스 도서관 프로젝트를 살펴보았으며, 이를 통해 유비쿼터스 도서관이 가지고 있는 정보서비스의 특징에 대하여 고찰하였다.

  • The object of this paper is to describe the ubiquitous computing technologies for ship, which is produced and assembled by many steel blocks. It includes the testing of a 2.4GHz wireless communications platforms and radio-frequency identification technology with the blocks disturbing the wireless communication. The power line communication that is established in a ship already is also experimented for some data transfer. Also, possible application areas of the ubiquitous computing technology to ships are discussed. At last, the test bed copied from an actual vessel was installed and data acquisition tests were established using wire and wireless communication. In this paper, we implemented some ubiquitous computing technologies in the test bed simulating a ship environment and investigated the basic characteristics of ubiquitous computing technologies.

u-Healthcare를 위한 바이오 단말기의 개발 현황 (Current Developments of Biomedical Mobile Devices for Ubiquitous Healthcare)

  • Biomedical mobile devices for ubiquitous healthcare consist of biomedical sensors and communication terminal. They have two types of configuration. One is the sensor-network type device using wired or wireless communication with intelligent sensors to acquire biomedical data. The other is the sensor embedded type device, where the data can be acquired directly by itself. There are many examples of sensor network type, such as, fall detection sensor, blood glucose sensor, and ECG sensors networked with commercial PDA phone and commercial phone terminal for ubiquitous healthcare. On the other hand, sensor embedded type mounts blood glucose sensor, accelerometer, and etc. on commercial phone. However, to enable true ubiquitous healthcare, motion sensing is essential, because users go around anywhere and their signals should be measured and monitored, when they are affected by the motion. Therefore, in this paper, two biomedical mobile devices with motion monitoring function were addressed. One is sensor-network type with motion monitoring function, which uses Zigbee communication to measure the ECG, PPG and acceleration. The other is sensor-embedded type with motion monitoring function, which also can measure the data and uses the built-in cellular phone network modem for remote connection. These devices are expected to be useful for ubiquitous healthcare in coming aged society in Korea.

해커의 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크 공격에 대한 정보보호 기술 (Information Protection against The Hacker's Attack of Ubiquitous Home Networks)

  • 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크에서의 개인정보보호를 위해 유비쿼터스와 홈 네트워크의 보안을 위협하는 다양한 보안 위협사항과 요구사항에 대해 분석하고 연구하였다. 보안기능을 강화한 유비쿼터스 홈 보안 게이트웨이를 설계를 통해 외부에서의 정당한 사용자 접근 시, 인증절차와 검증절차를 마련함으로써 홈 네트워크의 보호를 강화하였다. 또한 DoS, DDoS, IP Spoofing 공격을 실시하여 홈 네트워크 보안 게이트웨이에서의 방어실험을 함으로써 해커의 공격에 대한 보안이 이루어졌음을 확인하였다. 공격 실험을 통해 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크에서의 기기와 사용자에 대한 보안을 강화하고, 외부 공격에 대한 방어를 확인함으로써 본 논문의 홈 네트워크 보안 모델을 유비쿼터스 홈 네트워크에서의 개인정보보호를 강화할 수 있는 방안으로 제시한다.

uCDSS: Development of an Intelligent System for Ubiquitous Healthcare

  • Healthcare is a research field suitable for applying the recent ubiquitous techniques. As a test system, we developed a kind of CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) running in ubiquitous environment. called as 'uCDSS'. The uCDSS is a core system of the ubiquitous healthcare and is composed of some 'uMLMs(Ubiquitous Medical Logic Modules)'. The uMLMs based on the class in C# programming language could be reused in development of CDSS, or another EHR system running in .NET environment. As a test system, we developed the DM(Diabetes Mellitus knowledge system using ASP.NET. This system shows the potential of C# class-based uMLMs and the extensibility to any .NET development project.
