It is essential to investigate the structure and the main characteristic of Home USN (Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technologies in built ubiquitous environment while designing future residential space. For this study, three different housing types have been selected to implement ubiquitous technologies for residential space; those are regular, elderly, and single residence units. It is certain that efficiency of ubiquitous home design is improved if main components of each specific housing type are analyzed precisely in digital way and design models are prepared accordingly. Ubiquitous technology, in conclusion, has to be applied not on)r with systematical mechanism or electronic setting but in human-centered atmosphere as well, keeping with deep consideration for bio-housing service factors in eco-friendly surrounding; we call this Ubiquitous Humanism.

This letter offers a general framework representing the most effective strategies for implementing ubiquitous computing, given different levels of organizational information system capacity and business needs. The strategic grid offered here identifies promising movements which may potentially have a significant effect on the future development of ubiquitous computing.

Ubiquitous information technology creates new space connected to electronic and physical space and makes new life pattern come true. Although it is expected that ubiquitous technology will lead significant changes on various life fields, relevant studies on its market needs, customer needs in social and cultural context and its necessity at organizational level have been passively carried out. What is worse, IT technology application scheme in railway field has not fully established since railway field's technology development is mainly focused on hardware compared with road and air traffic. In order to apply ubiquitous technology to railway field, therefore, it is required to identify ubiquitous technology functions which applicable to railway field and to establish ubiquitous rail system implementation scheme for end users. In this paper, we suggested implementation scheme for u-Rail which sorts railway industry by its components in order to implement service centered ubiquitous technology to each railway industry field.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 소형, 저전력의 임베디드 시스템은 저가로 구성되는 시스템이라는 특성으로 인해 넓고 다양한 지역에 분포될 수 있고 분포 시킬 시스템의 개수와 설치 방법등에 있어 큰 유연성을 가지고 있어 그 활용에 있어 매우 큰 잠재적인 요소를 보유하고 있다. 이러한 시스템에 채용되는 마이크로컨트롤러는 매우 제한된 메모리 용량과 낮은 클럭속도, 낮은 레벨의 연산 성능을 가지는게 일반적이다. 본 논문에서의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 위한 영상 촬영 및 압축 시스템은 이러한 소형의 마이크로 컨트롤러를 사용한 소형의 저전력 임베디드 시스템에서 사용하기 위한 목적의 영상 촬영 및 압축을 위한 시스템이다. 본 시스템은 영상을 촬영하고 촬영된 영상을 JPEG로 압축하며 이를 내부 메모리에 보관함으로써 저사양의 마이크로컨트롤러를 가지는 시스템과 낮은 데이터 전송률을 가지는 통신 환경에서도 이미지 기반의 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 환경을 제공하면서 동시에 매우 소형의 시스템으로 배터리 동작 기반의 저전력 시스템을 위한 설계로 유비쿼터스 환경의 구성에 매우 유용한 기능을 제공한다.

중앙정부 및 지방정부들은 지역마다 지리적 환경적 경제적 기반을 고려한 유비쿼터스 테마를 가지고 U-City를 추진하고 있다. 그러나 현재 지방정부들이 추진하고 있는 U-City 건설 계획은 시민에게 제공되어야 할 서비스와 공급자인 도시정부에서 제공해야 할 유비쿼터스 행정 서비스가 무엇인가에 대한 담론의 과정이 미흡한 상황에서 공급자 위주의 방식으로 서비스를 제공할 계획에 있다. 위와 같은 문제 의식 하에 본 연구는 충주시 공무원을 대상으로 공공부문에 U-공공서비스의 도입의 필요성과 서비스의 유형, 그리고 제공해야할 서비스의 우선순위가 무엇인지를 실증적으로 분석하고 그 개선방향을 제시하였다. 분석결과 공공부문 영역에 필요한 서비스 유형 및 우선순위는 일반행정부문, 의료 복지부문, 안전 방재부문, 교통 물류부문, 문화 관광부문과 교육부문의 순서로 분석되었다.

Lots of researches have been focusing on ubiquitous computing which means wherever, whenever, whatever the required information must be accessible. In ubiquitous computing environment, ubiquitous sensor network (USN) is the basis technology for gathering and transferring the required information. However sensor network characteristically has more severe vulnerability than the existing networks do. The paper presents operation of secure protocols for delivering information in secure in ubiquitous computing environment and show improvement of the secure transferring protocol.

Long term Electrocardiogram (ECG) [1] analysis plays a key role in heart disease analysis. A combined detection of QRS-complex and P-wave in ECG signal for ubiquitous healthcare system was designed and implemented which can be used as an advanced warning device. The ECG features are used to detect life-threating arrhythmias, with an emphasis on the software for analyzing QRS complex and P-wave in wireless ECG signals at server after receiving data from base station. Based on abnormal ECG activity, the server will transfer alarm conditions to a doctor's Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). Doctor can diagnose the patients who have survived from cardiac arrhythmia diseases.

본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스(Ubiquitous) 혁명이 미래학교를 어떻게 변화시킬 것인가 예측해 보며, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 유비쿼터스 네트워크기술을 중심으로 지식사회에서의 e-learning 과 ICT (Information Communication Technology) 활용한 학습 연구를 수행하였다. 또한 e-school 의 모형과 협동학습을 기반으로 하는 블렌디드 러닝(Blended-Loaming) 활용 교수-학습 과정 안을 제안한다.
