Implementation of Visualization for USN Application Scenario based on Web (웹 기반에서의 USN 응용 시나리오 시각화 구현)

  • Recently, the world's Information Society, already central to humankind, is rapidly changing towards a fully ubiquitous computing society through the development of USN technology. USN application web services provide convenience through environment recognition as well as automatic recognition of specific situations all through the use of USN technology. It has been proven that it can also enable the safety of human life by providing an optimal service through real-time management. Therefore, USN application web services using such technology can be applied to various aspects of life. In this paper, we have implemented a scenario of with a specific user requirement regarding collected meta-data and sensing data based USN technology. We have implemented a visualization of the solutions suitable for each scenario.

  • Ubiquitous sensor network is the communication environment where sensor nodes move freely and construct network to get the services from the system. So, it does not need fixed infrastructure and can easily be placed in unaccessible regions like war or calamity area. Wireless sensor network protocol has self-organizing capability, need to adapt topology change flexibly and also has technique that sensor nodes work cooperatively, because network disconnection is frequently occurred due to the active mobility of sensor nodes. In this paper, we design a cluster based fault-tolerant routing protocol for the efficient topology construction and to guarantee stable data transmission in USN. The performance of the proposed protocol is evaluated by an analytic model.

A Study on the USN Zigbee Sensor Node for Transmission to Harmful Gas(CO, CO2) Sensing Data (유해가스(CO, CO2) 감지정보 전송을 위한 USN 지그비센서노드 구현)

  • In this study, Zigbee Sensor Node to transmit harmful gases CO and $CO_2$ information using wireless communication within the ground and underground structures were developed. Wireless communication protocol was used Zigbee Stack included IEEE 802. 15.4 MAC protocol. For wireless transmission of detected harmful gas signal from ADC of MCU was implemented Zigbee Sensor Node that was developed protocol using Serial-Port-Profile(SPP) here. The proposed Zigbee Sensor Node was verified transmission distance from experiments. Transmission distance was into 90m in experiments. Distance experiments were measured at 10m intervals using sine & pulse wave input signal at indoors. The proposed Route Sensor Node was applied mesh routing protocol. When built up USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network)using Route Sensor Node, transmission distance was not limited. On the experimental results, harmful gas values between direct measurements and USN measurements were consistent. The semiconductor CO sensor and N-DIR $CO_2$ sensor module as a harmful sensor was used. Therefore, the proposed Zigbee Sensor Node was verified about reliability and validity to build USN for transmission of harmful gas information.

Design of the Crane position control System using GPS and USN (GPS와 USN을 이용한 크레인 위치제어 시스템 설계)

  • In this paper, we study and simulate the suggested position control system using GPS and USN to replace the existing control system of a crane. For the correct approach, the position control system of a crane is divided into the control system of the ground station and the mobile station The hardware is comprised of GPS receiving module to receive the position control data of a crane from GPS satellites, bluetooth communication module for the data communication between the ground station and the mobile station, supersonic sensor module for a precise position control of a crane, motor to replace a crane roller, embedded MCU(ATmega128L) and so on. In here, an embedded MCU controls GPS receiving module, bluetooth communication module and supersonic sensor module. The Software is comprised of three programs. Three programs are the program to filter GGA output part in a receiving data of GPS receiving module, the driving program for supersonic sensor module, the digital map program to monitor a crane location. From the simulation results, it is demonstrated that the proposed system has the capability of crane position control with 1cm precision.

  • Future e-Trade RFID/USN distribution should satisfy the new needs of reasonable customers such as efficient supply of goods, presentation of information, and communication by developing intermediate and long-term strategies through analysis of industrial conditions and customers' needs. Through preferential application of new technology, knowledge-based e-Trade RFID/USN distribution environment and DB of industrial portal sites should be developed, RFID/USN infra such as Supply Chain Management(SCM) should be expanded, future-oriented knowledge-based services should be developed to prepare specific and realistic plans for proper UT(Ubiquitous Technology). Such change in e-Trade distribution environment should have historical and environmental backgrounds to suggest specific tasks and directions as a conversion of structural concept of engineering and trade theory for new u-Trade. Accordingly, this study is to present all the problems available in RFID/USN distribution, develop an organized and technological estimate model and provide a foundation to apply it efficiently. This study aims to present an interpretational foundation of RFID/USN distribution, rather than technical directions.

  • Nowadays, Advanced country have devised a plan energy-saving through lighting effectiveness and increasing performance of lighting control system. If it uses the LED as a source of light then conserve electricity by 50%. This paper implement LEMS(Lighting Energy Management System) that applicate and Smart Dimmer and Smart Switch that control the digital LED light, support wired-wireless communication using USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network). This system of validity and reliability control special purpose lamp including indoor and outdoor lighting and landscape lighting effectively. It minimize the use of indoor and outdoor lighting energy by USN remote integral control function of Digital System Lighting of LED and increase effectiveness of energy and is a collaborative system that can feedback the use of electricity by measurement itself through Web and Switch.

  • USN Fire Prevention System is an intelligent system that detects the fire through the value which has got from a sensor such as temperature, humidity, intensity of illumination, acceleration, carbon dioxide(CO2) and so on. And then send it to the operator also use the algorithmic fire detection to operate fire extinguish system on. It is among U-Disaster Prevention System which has prevented fire lately. Configuration of the packet was designed to make the most of lightweight and fast processing for low power consumption. Recently listed in the encryption algorithm is applied each DES, 3DES, AES and HIGHT. So objective was to faster encryption than encryption of high-performance finally domestic standard encryption algorithm HIGHT were suitable for the fire prevention system needed frequent sensing time.

  • 본 논문에서는 세션 관리 기술, 네트워크 제어 기술, 동시성 제어 기술, 미디어 제어 기술 중에서 식품 안전 서비스를 위한 IP-USN 기반의 멀티미디어 응용 개발 프레임워크에서 네스티드 세션의 미디어 객체 제어에 대하여 기술한다. 네스티드 세션이란 하나의 부모 세션 아래에 여러 개의 자식 세션이 존재하는 것을 말한다. 제안하고자 하는 미디어 제어는 식품 안전 서비스를 위한 IP-USN 기반의 멀티미디어 응용 개발 프레임워크에서 미디어를 하나의 메시지로 취급한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 운송 안전 서비스를 위한 IP-USN 기반의 윈도우 오버레이 기능에 세션 제어, 발언권 제어 등을 추가한 윈도우 공유 방법의 CACV 소프트웨어 구조를 제안한다. 운송 안전 서비스를 위한 IP-USN 기반의 공동 작업 환경에 참여하는 모든 사용자들은 사용자의 명령 또는 오류가 발생된 응용들을 제어 가능하며 상호 작용 가능하다. 상호 인지란 상호 작업 이해, 참여자 관계 설정 등 결합이라는 구현 기술을 말한다.
