To strengthen the quality control of aquatic drugs, we compared the internal and external(EU, USA and Japan) aquatic drug classification systems and proposed a new aquatic drug classification system. Aquatic drugs are classified on the basis of their functional the functional characteristics or safety management degree of aquatic drugs. We suggested that the aquatic drugs can be categorized into 7 levels according to their functional characteristics and classified into 3 levels according to the safety management degree of aquatic drugs.

After the first successful Apollo program, many countries around the world launched their own programs for exploring the moon. This paper surveys various navigation and attitude control systems of several past lunar exploration programs for the purpose of preparing a program for the first Korean lunar probe. For this first we investigate successful programs by introducing the sensors and actuators used for these programs, particularly focusing on those of Clementine and SMART-1 of USA and EU, respectively. Then based on the study, we suggest the necessary components of navigation and attitude control systems suitable for our lunar probe program.

The periodic technical vehicle inspection is to prevent the accident through the finding and fixing the defects of the vehicle. The periodic technical vehicle inspection in Korea was studied for assessing the adequacy of the inspection frequency. The inspection frequencies of many countries including EU, USA and Japan were compared. The average mileages by the vehicle usage and type were represented. The warranty period and recommended replacement period of parts of the domestic auto makers was studied. Currently, the inspection frequency for the periodic technical vehicle inspection in Korea is appropriate. The pass-fail rate and the cost-benefit analysis for the periodic technical inspection in Korea will be needed in the decision making process for the inspection frequency.

In the case that high-rise building is constructed, the surrounding wind velocity increase more than 50~100%. From this cause, many wind environmental problems can be occurred. For example, ordinary wind environmental disaster may be occurred in a region, or walking disturbed. In developed countries including USA, EU, and Japan, many efforts have been made for building wind prevention by grasping previously the effects before building constructed. But, We are bearing risk of wind environmental disaster because we have not enough recognition about building wind, and have not architectural prevention counterplans. This study aims to examine wind environmental characteristics of domestic apartment complex, and effective architectural counterplans. As the basic stage for this, we investigated pre-estimate tools and risk assessment methods of building wind in apartment complex, applied to two apart complex in Cheon-An region by CFD. As the result, serious damages were not presented. But, it is obvious that various architectural counterplans will be presented by this example researches.

Recently Many technologies of the Powerline communication are proposed these technologies used high carrier frequency for high speed and stability, but high carrier frequency is restricted by the low of electric wave. So we will propose electric monitoring system that used the commercial powerline communication modem, isn't restricted by the low. Our objects are, first, we compared the low in korea, EU(CENELEC), and USA(FCC). second, proposed a spec of the powerline communication modem. third, design that the electric monitoring system using commercial A/D converter control and manage the electric equipment.

International conferences to block the spread of Avian bird flu occurred in Beijing, 2006 and others warned of the seriousness of the H5N1 strain. The meetings succeeded in generating billions of dollars from USA, EU and World Bank. Migratory birds seem to play a major role in the spread of the aggressive strain globally from Asia to Europe and Africa. Experiences of tolerance breeding of maize (Zea mays L.) for four decades against 20 biotic stresses suggest that the prime cause of the occurrence of H5N1 strain was due to the human beings' counter-efforts against nature. Excessive use of chemicals (spray and injection) in the commercial poultry farms had created high selection pressure on virus. The new strain had mutated for survival. Attempting to eliminate the virus by chemicals for 100% control is a dangerous way to control biotic stresses. This can create more aggressive strains. A solution would be to build up tolerability of the commercial animals against the virus. Improvement of poultry cage environments and respect for nature must be integrated. Potential foes must be watched.

Greenhouse gas is the big issue of the whole world. So foreign countries, EU, USA, Japan, China and Korea made the policy for reducing greenhouse gas. For calculation of reduction, it is necessary to know the quantity of current greenhouse emission per year in Korea. It is not reflected real driving condition for measuring the Fuel economy and greenhouse gas. The subject of this study is to figure out the characteristics which influence on greenhouse gas in real driving condition. And final goal is applying the policy greenhouse emission reduction.

Recently, International electronic commerce has been rapidly increasing. Over the past decade, e-commerce on the business foundation of the Internet compound has entered extensive areas of international trade and social activity. This paper focuses on the system establishment of customs duties of import goods in Global e-Commerce. Today, USA, EU and some major countries, International Organization insisted to Tariff-free woe in customs duty. This study also will discuss the effect of imposition of import duties. In order to impose customs duties, it needs to establish a system scheme, especially, because international payment of BtoC Commerce occur by the Credit Card. This study deals with Customs duties of import goods in Global e-Commerce.

Objective : To build a basis of patent analysis for development of Korean ginseng as a competitive medical product in the world market. Methods : Survey of all patents related to ginseng or ginseng products in Korea and other rival countries such as the USA, Japan or EU, using KIPRIS. Results : Korea has more patents of ginseng itself , however has fewer patents related to functional goods, higher value-added businesses or medical technologies using ginseng than rival countries. Conclusion : The Oriental medical world should make more effort to verify the pharmacological effects of ginseng, develop high value-added functional products or medical technologies using ginseng and apply for more patents in such fields.

In this study, collision accident scenarios are derived for crashworthy design of rolling stocks because the detailed guidelines to complement domestic safety regulations with respect to collision accidents of rolling stocks are under preparation. Through this study, several collision accident scenarios are broadly investigated for those of advanced countries like USA, UK and EU. Next, the basic engineering considerations which are necessary to derive the collision accident scenarios are reviewed and analysed in some details. Finally, two collision accident scenarios are derived considering the circumstances of domestic railroads.
