단상 다기능 UPS 입.출력 필터 설계 (Design of Input.Output Filter of Single Multifunctional UPS)

  • A design for the input filter and the output filter of a single-phase UPS system is proposed. And also, this paper describes a reduction of the DC voltage ripple of a single-phase UPS. The input power of proposed UPS fluctuates with twice frequency of the utility source, which causes DC voltage fluctuation. The reduction of the DC voltage fluctuation requires a large DC link capacitor. The proposed method uses a LC series resonant filter paralleled with a conventional smoothing capacitor. The effectiveness of the proposed method was confirmed by simulation results.

  • Since power failures in high-speed communication network, especially in HFC(Hybrid Fiber Coaxial cable) network are critical, microcontroller-based UPS(Uninterrupted Power Supply) are commonly used in the network. Hardware and software of UPS management system is designed and implemented to monitor and control UPS status to supply electric power to ONU and TBA in the HFC network. The result of laboratory tests and field tess of this system shows the scan rate to be 1 to 10 minutes to sufficiently monitor the status of UPS in the network.

  • The need of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Sup-ply) system is dramatically increasing with the increased use of computers, telecommunica-tion system, building automation system, and office automation system in office buildings. The consequence of the power failure is very disas trous in intelligent office buil-dings. Thus, the nucessity of large scale UPS system with generations of large scale UPS system with generator is increasing. In this study, the configurations of large scale UPS system are reviewed and analyzed. The design guide and technical considerations of high reliability system are presented.

  • This study described the design and construction of uninterruptible power supply(UPS) system for supercomputering system. KISTI's supercomputer system is served for all 24 hours, and power be achieved in stable voltage and frequency range. We analyzed the electric power usage for 4 years, and we considered cost and stability and we contructed UPS for supercomputer system.

And also, this dissertation describes a reduction of the DC voltage ripple of a single-phase UPS.   • In this paper, an off-tine UPS with CVT(constant voltage transformer) is designed and the experimental result and problems of the designed UPS is given and discussed. This off-line UPS consists of triple-port CVT and PWM inverter which acts as charger and inverter. It can be evaluated in low price because haying simple structure. It offers high performance because CVT restricts the short current automatically about two or three times of rated current, has nearly unit power factor and constant output voltage to varying input voltage. The weak points of this UPS are that the output voltage waveform is not perfect sinusoidal and has phase difference to input voltage. The experimental result and problems of the designed UPS is given.

  • This paper describes a 3-phase Line-Interactive APF system and analyzes its operating characteristics considering LC Filter output characteristics. Topology of APF is similar to that of Off-Line UPS in the point of parallelly operating inverter system. So it is possible to be multi-functioned active compensating system according to power condition. Likewise this actively operating system from APF to UPS and vice versa is often to be called Line-Interactive system. And more than that Line-Interactive system needs precise design of LC filter on converter output side to make this system fully operate in both APF and UPS modes. The problem in this point is how to design LC Filter to be contented with two different system characteristics so this paper analyzes this problem and proposes its design procedures. Then suggested filter design is verified to be contented by the simulations and experimental results

  • The UPS for power plant is mainly used as the critical power supply of power plant. This is very much alike to the general UPS but it requires the special design criteria of power plant. In this study, we designed and develope system according to the design criteria of p plant. In the development of the special system, the designs of IGBT Drive, heat protection and monitoring system, and p components are key techniques. This Paper describes the power circuits, key techniques, the control and monitoring of the developed UPS(DC 125V $3{\Phi}$ 100K Finally, using the UPS we verified superiority through the type test.

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 전력저장시스템으로써 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 배터리를 대체할 목적의 5MB (Superconductive Magnetic Bearing)를 이용한 off-line UPS에 관해 연구하였다 영구자석의 덩어리형 고온 초전도 체위에서의 부상득성을 이용하여 베어링 문제의 해결방안에 접근함으로써 고효율의 FES찰 구성하여 단상 off-line UPS에 적용하였으며 제어회로에는 80C 1 96KC 마이크로프로세서를 사용하였고 빠픈 응답윤 요구하는 부분 은 아날로그회로를 사용하여 구성하였다. 에너지 저장모드에서 컨버터 입력천류는 전원전압과 동상의 정현파로 제어하였으며 에너지 회생모드에서는 출력잔압윤 정현파로 제어하기위해 필터커패시터전류릎 직접 제어하였다. 시작 품제작을 통해 시스템의 안장된 동작특성을 확인함으로써 제안된 FES가 Off-line UPS 에서의 에너지 저장매체로써 우수함을 입증하였다.

  • 병렬로 구성되 UPS 사이에 파라미터 불일치에 따른 순환전류와 전압리플이 발생되어지는데, 이들은 전체 UPS 시스템의 고장 및 신뢰성 저하를 유발한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들은 Double 위상동동기기와 능동 다중인 터페이스 리액터를 사용하여 해결하였다. 또한 ADSP21061을 사용하여 제어기를 디지털적으로 구현하였다.
