In recent years, the demand for portable digital devices such as cellular phone, digital camera, and MP3 player has been largely increased. To meet the requirements of such portable applications the information storage devices with smaller size, higher capacity, and lower power consumption are needed. A small form factor (SFF) HDD using a load/unload (L/UL) system is one of the appropriate alternatives to satisfy these requirements. Due to complexity of L/UL process and mechanism, it is required to investigate for better understanding the effects of design parameters. Among the various design parameters, flexible cable and friction force on the L/UL ramp become important to the dynamic characteristics of L/UL process as the system is miniaturized. The program for L/UL simulation which considers the effect of flexible cable and L/UL ramp is needed. Unfortunately, there is hardly any commercial program for the L/UL simulation except the Computer Mechanics Laboratory (CML) air bearing design program and the CML L/UL simulation code. Furthermore, the design parameters such as flexible cable and the L/UL ramp are not considered in the CML L/UL simulation code. So we embody the L/UL simulation considering flexible cable and an L/UL ramp by using the ANSYS/LS-DYNA. In this thesis, the effects of flexible cable and friction force on the dynamic characteristics and the performances of the L/UL process are studied. Numerical simulation and related experiments are carried out and compared each other.

Human cytomegalovirus expresses an unusual protein kinase UL97, a member of ${H_V}{U_L}$ family of protein kinase. UL97 can phosphorylate nucleoside analogs such as ganciclovir as well as protein/peptide. It has previously been reported that UL97 is able to phosphorylate a KESYSVYVYKV peptide and that P+5 position (K) is important. We examined the extent of contribution of other positions (P-4 through P+6) of the peptide to be substrate of UL97 using alanine substituted peptides (Ala scanning) and deleted peptides. The result suggested that the E (P-2) is negative effect and P+5 (K) is still important. The peptide YSVYVYK is the shortest substrate enough to show high activity, which could be a starting point to develop peptidomimetic drug. This study would give important information to deeply understand the substrate specificity of UL97 and develop an antiviral drug using the small peptide identified here.

$\boxDr$농사직설$\boxUl$ $\boxDr$금양잡록$\boxUl$ $\boxDr$사시찬요초$\boxUl$는 각각 독특한 성격을 갖고 있는 농서로 신속에 의해 한권의 책으로 편집됨으로서 종합농서의 성격을 갖는 $\boxDr$농가집성$\boxUl$이 만들어졌고, 시간의 흐름에 따라 $\boxDr$농가집성$\boxUl$의 단점을 보완하기 위하여 홍만선은 $\boxDr$산림경제$\boxUl$를 편찬하였으며, $\boxDr$산림경제$\boxUl$를 저본으로 서유구는 조선시대에 편찬된 여러 농서를 집대성한 $\boxDr$임원경제지$\boxUl$를 편찬하였다.

Usnea longissima has a long history of use as a traditional medicine. Several bioactive compounds, primarily belonging to the polyketide family, have been isolated from U. longissima. However, the genes for the biosynthesis of these compounds are yet to be identified. In the present study, three different types of non-reducing polyketide synthases (UlPKS2, UlPKS4, and UlPKS6) were identified from a cultured lichen-forming fungus of U. longissima. Phylogenetic analysis of product template domains showed that UlPKS2 and UlPKS4 belong to group IV, which includes the non-reducing polyketide synthases with an methyltransferase (MeT) domain that are involved in methylorcinol-based compound synthesis; UlPKS6 was found to belong to group I, which includes the non-reducing polyketide synthases that synthesize single aromatic ring polyketides, such as orsellinic acid. Reverse transcriptase-PCR analysis demonstrated that UlPKS2 and UlPKS4 were upregulated by sucrose; UlPKS6 was downregulated by asparagine, glycine, and alanine.

Two unrecorded yeasts, Meyerozyma caribbica UL5-1 and Pichia silvicola UL6-1 were screened from 58 yeasts which were isolated from wild flowers in Ulleungdo in Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. The morphological and cultural characteristics of these unrecorded yeasts were investigated. Both yeasts were oval in shape and formed pseudomycelia. P. silvicola UL6-1 formed ascospore, but M. UL5-1 did not. P. silvicola UL6-1 and M. caribbica UL5-1 also grew in vitamin-free medium and 5% NaCl-containing yeast extract-peptone-dextrose medium. The two unrecorded yeasts assimilated glucose, galactose, xylose, cellobiose, trehalose, glycerol and sorbitol, and also fermented glucose, fructose and mannose. The supernatant of both M. caribbica UL5-1 and P. silvicola UL6-1 showed high antihypertensive angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibitory activity of 84.2% and 82.6%, respectively. Cell-free extract of P. silvicola UL6-1 also showed very high anti-diabetic ${\alpha}$-glucosidase inhibitory activity (85.8%).

본고는 조선조 중기의 관료이며 학자인 미암 유희춘의 일기를 통해 당시 서적 간행의 양상을 살펴보고자 하였다. 미암 유희춘은 만년에 관직생활을 하면서 일기를 남겼으니 이 $\boxDr$미암일기$\boxUl$에 일상의 일이 매우 자세하게 기록되어 있다. 이를 통하여 당시의 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화, 서적, 가정사까지도 알 수 있다. 본고는 이 일기를 통해 미암의 서적과 관련된 여러 일 가운데 미암이 주도적으로 간행하려고 노력한 서적을 밝혔다. 아울러 당시에 편성된 책판목록에 수록되었는지의 여부도 확인하였다. 미암이 개인적으로 간행하고자 한 서적은 2종류로 나눌 수 있다. 하나는 외조부 금남 최부의 문집인 $\boxDr$금남집$\boxUl$과 중국기행문인 $\boxDr$표해록$\boxUl$이다. 다른 하나는 아동용 도서로 문해용의 $\boxDr$신증류합$\boxUl$과 도덕교육용의 $\boxDr$속몽구$\boxUl$이다. 이들 서적을 인출하기 위해 판각한 당시의 책판은 당대의 책판목록에 수록되어 있어야한다. 그러나 거의 대부분 누락되어 있다. $\boxDr$미암일기$\boxUl$를 통해 책판목록에 누락된 서적을 보완할 수 있으므로 $\boxDr$미암일기$\boxUl$의 중요성을 알 수 있다.

Background: This study was performed to investigate the association between cystographic anastomotic urinary leakage (UL) after retropubic radical prostatectomy (RRP) and early urinary incontinence (UI). Methods: The medical records of 53 patients who had undergone cystography after RRP at our institution between January 2015 and December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Cystography was performed 7 to 10 days after surgery. The duration of catheterization depended on the degree of UL, which was classified as mild, moderate, or severe. The study subjects were divided into the non-UL group and the UL group. Continence was defined as the use of no pads. The prostate was dissected in an antegrade fashion, and urethrovesical anastomosis was performed with a continuous suture. Results: Incontinence rates at 1 and 3 months postoperatively were significantly higher in the UL group than the non-UL group (83.3% vs. 52.2%, p=0.014 and 76.7% vs. 47.8%, p=0.030, respectively); however, those at 6 and 12 months were not significantly different (23.3% vs. 17.4%, p=0.597 and 4.3% vs. 10.0%, p=0.440, respectively). The severity of UL was not found to influence the duration of incontinence. The presence of cystographic anastomotic UL was found to be predictive of UI during the first 3 postoperative months (odds ratio, 3.3; p=0.045). Conclusion: The presence of anastomotic UL on cystography was associated with higher rates of UI in the early postoperative periods. However, incontinence rates in patients with or without anastomotic UL immediately after RRP equalized at 6 months and the severity of UL did not affect the duration of postoperative UI.

Purpose : This paper is aim to report the effects of Gamisoyosan(加味逍遙散) on the UL-syndrome(鬱症) Methods : This is two cases report of female patient suffering from headache, chest discomfort, heart burning, insomnia, dyspepsia, anorexia, fatigue and other symptoms due to chronic stress. 52 years old woman who diagnosed UL-syndrome(鬱症) was enrolled in this study. We gave her Gamisoyosan(加味逍遙散) 2 times, each for 3 weeks. During the treatments, we check changes of symptoms and HRSD. Results : After the oriental medical treatments, symptoms of UL-syndrome(鬱症) were decreased or disappeared. Conclusion : This clinical case indicate that Gamisoyosan(加味逍遙散) is effective in treatment of the depression disorder and symptoms of UL-syndrome(鬱症). More clinical data and studies are requested for the treatment of UL-syndrome(鬱症).

계통 연계용 PCS(Power Conditioning System)에 적용되는 미국 인증 규격은 UL1741로써 PCS의 하드웨어 안정성과 소프트웨어의 기능 및 안정성을 요구한다. UL1741은 연계 규정으로 IEEE 1547.1을 요구하고 있으며, 본 논문에서는 소프트웨어 기능 및 안정성을 요구하는 UL1741SA 항목을 검증하기 위하여 데베소프트사의 SIRIUS 장비를 이용하여 효과적이고 정합성 있는 시뮬레이션 결과를 도출한다.

UL(Underwriters Laboratories Inc)은 미국의 대표적인 비영리 민간 안전시험기관이다. UL마크는 세계적으로 권위가 있다. 특히 미국내에서 소비자인지도 및 주정부의 강제적용에 힘입어 UL인증없이는 시장 유통이 어려운 실정이다. 공산품에 대한 단체 임의 인증 마크로서 전기, 전자제품, 건축재료, 해양장비(선박)등을 대상으로 화재, 폭발관련 안전성 시험에 합격하고 공장심사 및 사후관리 협정을 맺은후 마크가 부여 된다.
