  • The purpose of this study was to analyze task commitment types of science learning in high school students' biology classification. Thirty students were selected as the representatives of five task commitment types according to task commitment type inventory scores. They participated in think-aloud biology classification task. To analyze the procedural characteristics of task commitment, a coding scheme and think-aloud task were developed. Characteristics of respective task commitment types were identified from the result of the think-aloud protocol coding analysis. They are TGC(task goal commitment) type, LGC(low goal commitment) type, CC(conditional commitment) type, SC(suspended commitment) type, and DC(delayed commitment) type. Findings gained from this study are expected to serve as the foundation of task commitment enhancement strategies and as the information on the characteristics of each task commitment type. Also, future studies are required to investigate the commitment-related properties not only in biology classification but also in other science learning situations.

The oral illness showed statistical differences among the location of school, between municipal and rural area (t=-2.97, p=0.016). There were 411 types of signs and symptoms recorded. Among them, headache was showed the highest proportion with 2,122 cases (11.2%). Conclusion : The incidence rate of health problems was higher than that of earlier studies. It showed that the incidence rates and the types of diseasps in middle school students were different by school locations, characteristics of students, and months. To improve the qualities of primary cares in school health services, the reformed and unified anecdotal record system and the standardized guidelines for primary care are necessary.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the structure and characteristics among college students' gender-role identity. Method: The study used a Q-method to measure college students' gender-role identity types. Korean Gender Role Identity Inventory(KGRII) formed the Q sample. The P sample consisted of a convenience sample of 44 college students. Q statements were written on separate cards and were given to the subjects to sort according to degree of agreement or disagreement. The Q-sorts by each subject were coded and analyzed with the Quanl PC program. Result: From data, three types were extracted. Three types showed a low correlation with each other, and accounted for 41 percent of the variance of the participants. The first type, a 'sex-role transcendence', expresses warm, humane, and kind. The second type, a 'masculinity intention type', has leadership, activity, power, and initiative. And the third type, a 'femininity intention type' pursues emotional, expressive, delicate and tactful. Conclusion: This paper classifies and subdivides three types of gender-role identity in college students. It helps understanding of gender-role identity, and further developing a sense of value and attitude related to gender identity in college students.

The questions in "The personality diagnosis of high school students" developed by Lee, Chongseung and Chung, Bummo were adopted to measure stability, dominance, sociability and autonomy. Variables of clothing attitudes were composed with attentiveness, modesty and conformity. A total 488 high school students in Seoul participated in the survey. SPSS Win 10 statistical package was used to analyze the data: frequency, t-test, ANOVA and factor analysis. After statistical analysis, the following results were found. Groups of introversion and extroversion, and groups of low, medium and high degree of stability, dominance, sociability and autonomy showed no significant difference based on sex difference and school types. Students who has a high extroversion showed a high degree of attentiveness in clothing attitudes. Students who has the lowest sociability and the lowest autonomy showed a high degree of attentiveness. Students with the lowest autonomy showed a high degree of conformity. • In spite of the importance of cognitive conflict in conceptual change, there has been little research on the characteristics of cognitive conflict in students enrolled at vocational high schools. The purpose of this study was to expose these students' cognitive conflict types and investigate characteristics of cognitive conflict according to the type of cognitive conflict. This paper examined how vocational students' motivational beliefs and epistemological beliefs affect the process of cognitive conflict when students are confronted with an anomalous situation related to the action and reaction concept. Results indicated that many vocational students experienced low levels of cognitive conflict and remained passive during the explanation of anomalous phenomenon or easily desisted any attempt to resolve the conflict situation because of their epistemological belief to depend on the external absolute knowledge of teachers, an extrinsic motivation to choose easier tasks, or reliance on the teachers' reputations. Therefore, Instructors need to recognize these characteristics in order to facilitate vocational students' conceptual change when presenting cognitive conflict tasks.

In particular, bodybuilding students demonstrated a somatotype with an increased circumference, depth, and width of the thigh and lower body. The somatotypes were classified into 3 types by means of a cluster analysis employing 5 factors. The bodybuilding was selected for alter slacks pattern because of the grand variation of lower body types. A lining evaluation of slacks pattern was made for the male sports collegians in bodybuilding-major. • As social media has become a part of daily life, new types of online opinion leaders are emerging, and in turn, changes in traditional fashion leaders and leadership are expected. Considering such changes, this study attempted to reexamine fashion leader types and influence characteristics from the perspective of college students as fashion followers. Students were asked to write an essay identifying their fashion leader and how and why they were influenced by him or her. Sixty essays entitled "My Fashion Leader" were collected and content-analyzed. A total of 78 fashion leaders were identified and categorized into four types including celebrities, social media influencers, friends/family/acquaintances, and people seen on the street in order of frequency. Influence characteristics of the identified fashion leaders included superiority, role model, similarity, and familiarity. Similarity was observed across all types of fashion leaders, while superiority and familiarity were identified for celebrities and friends/family/acquaintances, respectively. The results imply that celebrities, mostly those from the TV, movie, and music industries, are still important as fashion leaders in society regardless of their communication style, while friends/family/acquaintances as opinion leaders within a consumer group are important to provide information, advice, and help. However, social media influencers between the two groups are expanding the influence.
