  • 전력용 케이블은 전선로의 지중화 추세에 따라 사용이 증가하고 있다. 케이블 절연체의 경우 장기간의 전압인가에 의해 열화 및 절연파괴 된다. 전력용 케이블의 절연파괴시 발생하는 사회/경제적 문제는 매우 심각한 것으로 알려져 있다. 절연체의 열화에 영향을 주는 요인은 매우 복잡하지만 그중에서도 전기트리 열화에 의한 파괴는 비교적 두꺼운 고체 유전체인 경우에 절연파괴 사고의 주된 원인이 되고 있다. 전기트리의 개시나 진전시 부분방전이 발생하므로 부분방전의 검출에 의해 전기트리의 발생 및 진전 양상을 관측할 수 있고 부분방전의 해석에 의해 절연재료의 잔여 수명을 예측할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 고전압 전력용 케이블 절연재로써 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 저밀도 폴리에틸렌 시편에서의 전기트리 진전 양상을 비파괴 진단 기법에 의하여 검출하고자 내부 부분방전을 관측/해석하였다.

컨테이너에 의한 조경수 생산방식이 이식 후 활착에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Containerized Landscape Tree Production Methods on Post-tansplant Strees)

  • This study is conducted to evaluate the effects of containerized landscape tree production methods on post-transplant stress. Two types of container such as plastic pot(pot), fabric growing bag(bag) were adopted to restrict tree roots. Each types of containers was divided into seven sub-types. One traditional production method was included as comparison. Two landscape woody plants species (Magnolia denudata, Albizzia julibrissin) were implanted in the 7 sub-types of container. After one or two growing season in the container, each types of container trees was transplanted. Half of the trees were transplanted in the mild spring season, and another half of trees were transplanted in the improper summer season. The data were collected on the crown wilting ratio and trunk die-back ratio. The result of the analysis based on these data were as follows; 1) The container production methods were lower than the traditional production methods by 3 times in the average wilting ratio of summer season's transplanting point. 2) Post-transplant stress was more successfully mitigated, in case the "pot" type as was the "bag" types of container. 3) The effective and economic way of mitigating post-transplant stress by container production methods was selecting container plants of vigorous and deep root systems. 4) The "pot" type of container was to restrict tree roots more successfully, But, winter chilling and low temperature attacked the "pot" type tree's twigs and suckers. These results indicated that "pot" grown container plants should managed carefully during the winter after transplanting. Based upon the results of this study, a subsequent research on the development of container material, growth type of the container trees, and other maintaining method will be required.es, and other maintaining method will be required.

화상처리에 의한 XLPE의 트리잉 해석 (An Analysis on Treeing in XLPE by means of Image Processing)

  • Studies on treeing phenomena have depended on the visual measurement using optical microscope. In the visual measurement, it is difficult to analyze the treeing in real time because voltages are applied discontinuously and impossible to calculate the deterioated area by treeing. Only tree type and length are studied. In this paper, image processing is introduced and voltages are applied continuously. The tree length and area are calculated in real time from tree inception to breakdown. Growing characteristics about tree types are compared for the normalized breakdown time.

XLPE 절연체의 트리 채널내 보이드방전에 의한 AE신호로 절연열화 검출 기법 연구 (Fundamental Study of Degradation Diagnosis using AE Signals with Void Discharge in XLPE Insulation)

  • 본 논문은 전력 케이블의 절연체인 XLPE 시료에 상용주파수 교류전압을 인가하였을 때, 절연열화에 의한 보이드방전 펄스신호와 AE신호 및 트리진전 특성을 검출하고 관찰하였다. 또한 XLPE 절연체의 트리 채널내 인가전압에 따라 보이드방전 펄스신호와 AE신호를 각각 관측하였다. 실험 결과 전력 케이블의 절연체인 XLPE 시료의 보이드 존재 유 무에 따른 트리진전 형상은 보이드 존재시에는 수지형으로 성장하였으나, 무보이드시에는 수초형으로 성장하였다. XLPE 절연체내의 트리진전 특성은 보이드 존재시에는 열화시간이 경과함에 따라 급격히 증가하였으나, 무보이드시에는 열화 시간이 경과함에 따라 트리의 성장 형상은 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 전력 케이블 절연체인 XLPE의 트리 채널내 보이드방전에 의한 AE신호의 주파수 스펙트럼으로 분석한 결과, AE신호의 크기에 따라 변화되었으며 그 주파수 영역은 대략 1.0[MHz] 이하의 분포인 것으로 관측되었다.

의사결정나무를 이용한 화물자동차 투어유형 선택행태 분석 (An Analysis of Choice Behavior for Tour Type of Commercial Vehicle using Decision Tree)

  • 최근 화물수요모형에 화물자동차 투어행태를 반영하기 위한 접근방법이 제시되었다. 화물자동차 이동을 투어기반 접근방법으로 모형화 하기 위해서는 화물자동차 투어와 투어유형에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구는 화물자동차 투어유형을 왕복형 투어와 체인형 투어로 구분하여 이들 투어유형 선택행태를 분석하였다. 투어유형 선택행태를 분석하기 위한 방법으로는 의사결정나무(decision tree)와 로짓모형(logit model)을 이용하였다. 분석결과 화물자동차 투어유형을 분류하는 설명변수로 화물적재율, 평균화물량, 총화물량이 선정되었으며, 의사결정나무와 로짓모형이 유사한 결과를 도출하였다. 또한 소형과 중형 화물자동차의 투어유형을 분류하는 설명변수가 큰 차이를 보이지 않음에 따라 화물자동차 투어를 계획함에 있어 화물을 어떻게 적재할 것인지가 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 의사결정나무와 로짓모형의 예측력을 비교한 결과는 의사결정나무가 로짓모형에 비해 상대적으로 우수한 결과를 보였는데, 이는 화물자동차 투어유형을 분류함에 있어 로짓모형과 같이 설명변수의 선형적 결합에 의한 분류 보다는 의사결정나무와 같이 다수 설명변수들의 규칙조합으로 분류하는 것이 효과적임을 나타낸다.

XLPE 케이블 절연체에서의 가지형 전기트리 성장에 따른 부분방전 위상 특성 연구 (A Study on the Partial Discharge Phase Properties with Branch Type Eleotrical Tree Growth in XLPE Cable Insulation)

  • In order to improve the reliability of XLPE cables, it is necessary to find the useful diagnostic parameter according to long term aging. This paper described the change of partial discharge(PD) phase Properties of XLPE cable insulation with branch type electrical tree degradation. for long term aging. To understand the PD Properties with $\phi$ -q-n distributed shape of XLPE insulation, specimens were prepared by 22.9㎸ distribution cable and made in a type of block(16${\times}$16${\times}$3[mm]). Ogura needles having tip radius of l0${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ were inserted into each block pieces. The measuring system was consisted of PD detector, digitizer for digital conversion, VXI system for signal processing. The PD properties of the specimens were measured from initiation of tree to breakdown and their characteristics were analyzed. We analyzed the relationship between electrical properties(PD Quantity, PD initiation angle, PD extinction angle, PD occurrence angle : (PD extinction angle - PD initiation angle)) and the normalized aging rate. We found PD parameter, PD initiation angle and occurrence angle, which are a useful diagnostic parameter in estimating the branch type electrical tree for XLPE insulation condition.

화상계측에 의한 지중 전력케이블의 수트리 열화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Water Tree Degradation Using Image Measurement in Underground Power Cables)

  • Water treeing in underground distribution power cable is not easy to observe by nondestructive method and it has very complex patterns. This study describes the principles and practices of a continuous observation of initiation and growth of tree in polymeric insulation material using an image measurement technique. Using this technique we could observe water tree and the growing process of electrical tree due to the water tree and the growing process of electrical tree due to the water tree. All of these growing process is analyzed quantitatively by image measurement program composed of borland c++. We fabricated the thin film type specimen to observe water tree easier and also the needle electrode was prepared by etching method using electrolytes. Initiation and the growth of three was observed somewhat different depending on the applied voltage and the water electrode. AgNO$_3$solution electrode accelerates the initiation and the growth of water tree, compared to those of distilled water electrode. The water and the electrical tree occurred by water tree has discontinuous growth characteristic.

Cyclic testing of weak-axis steel moment connections

  • The seismic performance of six types of weak-axis steel moment connections was investigated through cyclic testing of six full-scale specimens. These weak-axis moment connections were the column-tree type, WUF-B type, FF-W type, WFP type, BFP-B type and DST type weak-axis connections. The testing results showed that each of these weak-axis connection types achieved excellent seismic performance, except the WFP and the WUF-B types. The WFP and WUF-B connections displayed poor seismic performance because a fracture appeared prematurely at the weld joint due to stress concentrations. The column-tree type connection showed the best seismic behavior such that the story drift ratio could reach 5%.

한라산 영실지역 구상나무림의 식생구조 연구 (A Study on the Vegetation Structure of Abies koreana Forest in Yeongsil Area of Hallasan Mountain)

  • This study's purpose was to provide basic data for the monitoring of ecological changes caused by change of vegetation structure of Abies koreana forest in a study site susceptible to climatic change in Yeongsil area of Hallasan Mountain, Jeju Island. Surveys revealed this: in Yeongsil area of Hallasan Mountain, per 1 ha of A. koreana forests, total number 1,781, and A. koreana number 989, accounting for 55.5% of the total number of trees. 190 A. koreana or 19.2% were found to be dead. For the number of individual trees by DBH, trees standing 5 cm - 10 cm tall formed the largest portion at 39.9%, and in the case of other trees except A. koreana, the number of individual trees below 5 cm accounted for 23.5% of the total number of trees. The survey of importance by height revealed this: at the top level, the importance of A. koreana was the highest at 106.23, but the sum of importance of temperate deciduous broad-leaved trees (Prunus maximowiczii, Quercus mongolica, and Taxus cuspidata) was higher at 142.84 than that of A. koreana. The analysis of species diversity revealed 0.645 species diversity for the tree layer and 0.817 for the shrub layer; for evenness, 0.549 for the tree layer and 0.664 for the shrub layer; for dominance value; 0.451 for the tree layer and 0.336 for the shrub layer. The analysis of tree vitality revealed that for the A. koreana forests in Yeongsil, the composition ratio of A. koreana by type is AS type>AL type>DS type>DB type, and that of the other trees is AL type>AS type>AF type>AB type. Compared with the forests in other areas, the A. koreana forests in the Yeongsil area have a very high occurrence rate of dead trees, and a high importance of trees is shown in the deciduous broad-leaved tree forests. Compared with the A. koreana forests in the Jindallaebat area, with the same level above sea, the vegetation structures are fast changing. Also, due to dryness and other non-physical environmental changes caused by a lack of rainwater and dry winds in winter, dead trees are fast increasing in number. Environmental changes such as climate change diversely affect the maintenance of A. koreana in individual areas, and if environmental changes are fast and continue long, of the A. koreana forest areas in the Hallasan Mountain, the A. koreana forests in the Yeongsil area will decrease fastest in number and will experience changes in the vegetation structure. Thus, it is necessary to survey the vegetation changes in A. koreana forests, which are distributed in all directions but are centered on Hallasan Mountain, and to thus conduct long-term monitoring and research.

Change of Tree Types and Estimation of Tree Ages in a Research Forest from Two-decade Archive of Landsat Images

  • We used a series of Landsat images acquired from 1984 to 2001 to observe decadal changes of the research forest of Kangwon National University. Tree NDVI images of November in 1984, 1986 and 2001 were displayed in RGB color composite. This image enabled us to identify historical change of conifer types and their approximate ages. Conifers were classified into 'old conifer aged more than 25 years', 'young conifer aged 20-25 years' 'very young conifer aged less than 20 years', and recently deforested areas. The results coincide with in situ data very well. Archives of higher resolution images should be used to monitor the change of area for various tree types.
