  • The purpose of this study was to investigate heat resistance for union type SMD inductor core. The samples was produced with process 5 step. In this study, it analysis heat resistance of SMD(Surface Mounted Device) inductor core and it get electric field only exist inside of SMD core. Therefore electric fields do not affect any device and equipments. These results are very important to design data acquisition system(several test equipments such as temperature, impedance, and current test), because data acquisition system can place under the SMD Inductor core. So, it can be decrease their test error due to electric field.

  • In the block type VHTR core, there are inevitable gaps among core blocks for the installation and refueling of the fuel blocks. These gaps are called bypass gap and the bypass flow is defined as a coolant flows through the bypass gap. Distribution of core bypass flow varies according to the reactor operation since the graphite core blocks are deformed by the fast neutron irradiation and thermal expansion. Furthermore, the cross-flow through an interfacial gap between the stacked blocks causes flow mixing between the coolant holes and bypass gap, so that complicated flow distribution occurs in the core. Since the bypass flow affects core thermal margin and reactor efficiency, accurate prediction and evaluation of the core bypass flow are very important. In this regard, experimental and computational studies were carried out to evaluate the core bypass flow distribution. A multi-block experimental apparatus was constructed to measure flow and pressure distribution. Multi-block effect such as cross flow phenomenon was investigated in the experiment. The experimental data were used to validate a CFD model foranalysis of bypass flow characteristics in detail.

  • An experimental study was performed to evaluate the in-plate evaporation heat transfer and flow characteristics of a evaporator used in automobile. Two test-cores with different heat transfer area, bead-shape and bead-array were tested, A type and B type. For the heat transfer, Nusselt number for B type test-core reaches a value nearly equal to the one for A type test-core, in the whole range of equivalent Reynolds number. But, for the same mass flow rate of refrigerant, hA for B type test-core becomes higher with the increase of the mass quality of refrigerant than for A type test-core. In a flow visualization experiment, the wake zone of refrigerant circulating at u-turn position of plate is observed.

공간구문론 분석에 의한 아파트 주동형식별 공간배치 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Spatial Configuration Characteristics of the Apartment Building Type based on the Space Syntax Analysis)

  • This paper deals with the spatial configuration of the unit floor plan based on the apartment building type. It is generally agreed that various apartment building types were organized by diverse apartment unit floor plan. The reason behind this diversity, apartment unit plan are affected by the environmental condition and the diverse spatial composition of the unit floor plan. Apartment building types were classified by the similarity of the justified-graph type. This types classified into two category; One core type which were classified by the shape of the core, and multiple core type which were compounded by more than two core. These categories divided into 5 types, and 2 types. Each types were compared in view of the mean depth, relative asymmetry, integration value. Consequently, these types could be classified in the number of the unit floor plan. It is profitable to 3 unit types which was analyzed in view of an indicator of the spatial configuration. Therefore, 3 unit types is favorable to the composition of the apartment building types.

개방철심형 고온초전도한류기의 동작 특성 (Operational Characteristics of a Superconducting Fault Current Limiter with an Open Core)

  • Recently. the high-tc superconducting fault col-rent limiters (SFCL) are studied worldwide to be classified as a resistive type or an inductive type such as a magnetic shielding type and a inductive type. The high-tc SFCL wish an open core belongs to the magnetic shielding type SFCL. Unlike conventional magnetic shielding type SFCLS it uses the open core to reduce the mechanical vibrations and installation space, The high-tc SFCL with an open core was designed and manufactured by stacking three BSCCO 2212 tubes. It was tested in the maximum source voltage of 400 Vrms. The results such as the reduction of fault current and impedance of the SFCL are described in this paper. The results show that the fault current in the source voltage of 400 Vrms was reduced to be about 123 Apeak. about 3.9 times greater than the normal state current. Also, the impedance of the high-tc SFCL was about 9${\Omega}$ about 9 times greater than the normal state impedance. The impedance of the SFCL appears just after the fault, and its size is dependent on the source voltage. From the impedance, the inductance of the SFCL was calculated.

  • 서비스디자인 방법론을 통해 사용 편의성에 중점을 둔 신개념의 모듈형 자전거 액세서리를 탄소 소재를 이용하여 개발하였다. 기존의 탄소 재질을 사용할 경우 자전거 주행 중 충격에 견디지 못하거나, 파손 현상이 발생하였으며, 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 새로운 소재(S Foam Core 소재)를 적용 하였다. 기존 탄소 재질과 S Foam Core 소재의 강도, 뒤틀림 강도, 충격흡수 및 진동감쇄 측정을 하였고, S Foam Core가 적용된 제품이 기존 탄소 소재 보다 더 우수한 결과를 얻었다. 본 연구에서는 S Foam Core 소재로 프로토 타입을 제작하여, 자체 실험을 통해 검증하였고, 이를 보고하고자 한다.

지면의 유형에 따른 서스펜션 트레이닝의 코어근육 활성화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Core Muscle Activation Characteristics of Suspension Training by Ground Type)

  • 본 연구는 지면의 유형에 따른 서스펜션 트레이닝의 효과를 분석하기 위해 14명의 건강한 남자 대학생을 대상으로 2종류의 다른 지면 편평한 지면, 짐볼을 이용한 불안정한 지면에 따른 서스펜션 트레이닝의 주목적인 코어 근육의 활성 특성을 연구하였다. 지면의 유형에 따른 코어 근육의 활성도를 측정하기 위해 EMG(Electromyography)를 활용하였고 측정부위는 복직근, 외복사근, 내복사근, 하부요추 기립근의 근활성도를 측정하였다. 측정변인은 각각의 코어 근육 별로 지면의 유형에 따라 근전도 신호를 표준화하기 위해 %MVC방법으로 측정하였다. 지면의 유형에 따른 코어 근육의 차이를 검증하기 위해 paired t-test를 실시하였으며 유의수준은 p<. 05로 설정하였다. 다양한 유형의 지면에 따른 코어 근육의 활성도에 관한 특성을 측정한 결과 두 지면 사이의 근육 별, 지면 별 차이점은 통계적으로 유의하게 나타나지 않았다. 하지만 이는 코어 근육의 트레이닝의 적용 시 반드시 불안정한 형태의 지면에서의 트레이닝 효과가 안정된 지면에서의 효과보다 우월하다는 통념을 다시 한 번 생각하게 하는 중요한 결과라 사료된다. 본 연구의 의미는 불안정한 지면이나 안정된 지면이 코어 근육 활성화에 큰 영향을 미치지 않으므로 어떠한 운동프로그램이던지 정규화된 코어근육 강화프로그램을 실시해도 근육의 활성화에 차이가 없음을 의미한다.

샌드위치 패널의 외부 색상과 내부 심재에 따른 이면 온도 변화 (The Back Side Temperature Variation According to Color of Sandwich Panel and Internal Core Material)

  • The internal core material and external color of a sandwich panel have a significant impact on the performance of the sandwich panel. For use on roofs and walls, the internal core material and external color must be considered. Therefore, the surface and back side temperatures were measured for each exterior color and inner core material type. For the internal core materials, urethane foam and Expanded Poly Styrene(EPS), which are core materials mainly used in sandwich panels, were selected. As colors, black and ivory were selected according to brightness, and a total of five colors were selected: red, blue, and green, which are the three primary colors of light. As a result, there were differences in surface and temperature depending on the external color and type of internal core material. Regardless of the color, the temperature was measured lower for panels with urethane foam than for panels with an internal core of EPS. This is believed to have been influenced by the difference in thermal conductivity of urethane foam being 0.023W/(m·K) and that of EPS being 0.032W/(m·K). In addition, panels with a black exterior color were found to have higher surface and back temperatures than panels of other colors, and ivory-colored panels had lower back temperatures regardless of the core material. This is proportional to the brightness and light-absorbing characteristics.

  • 본 연구는 중앙 물분사 방식을 채택한 액체로켓엔진 후류의 냉각에 대해 전산유체역학을 통한 특성을 고찰하였다. 중앙 물분사 방식의 냉각은 측면 물분사 방식과는 달리, 잘 알려져 있지 않기 때문에 다양한 물분사량과 유량을 통해 효율적으로 후류를 냉각시킬 수 있는 조건을 찾았으며, 해석을 통해 후류의 변화 특성을 살펴보았다. 이로부터 물분사 유량이 총추진제 유량의 2배 이상, 위치는 L/De=1.2일 때가 적당함을 알 수 있었다.

The analytical solution for buckling of curved sandwich beams with a transversely flexible core subjected to uniform load

  • In this paper, linear buckling analysis of a curved sandwich beam with a flexible core is investigated. Derivation of equations for face sheets is accomplished via the classical theory of curved beam, whereas for the flexible core, the elasticity equations in polar coordinates are implemented. Employing the von-Karman type geometrical non-linearity in strain-displacement relations, nonlinear governing equations are resulted. Linear pre-buckling analysis is performed neglecting the rotation effects in pre-buckling state. Stability equations are concluded based on the adjacent equilibrium criterion. Considering the movable simply supported type of boundary conditions, suitable trigonometric solutions are adopted which satisfy the assumed edge conditions. The critical uniform load of the beam is obtained as a closed-form expression. Numerical results cover the effects of various parameters on the critical buckling load of the curved beam. It is shown that, face thickness, core thickness, core module, fiber angle of faces, stacking sequence of faces and openin angle of the beam all affect greatly on the buckling pressure of the beam and its buckled shape.
