In this paper a virtual form of 3 dimensional face is synthesized from the two sheets of 2 dimensional photographs In this case two sheets of 2D face photographs, the front and the side photographs are used First of all a standard model for a general face is created and from this model the feature points which represents a construction of face are densely defined on part of ears. eyes, a nose and a lip but the other parts. for example, forehead, chin and hair are roughly determined because of flat region or the less individual points. Thereafter the side photograph is connected symmetrically on the left and right sides of the front image and it is gradually synthesized by use of affine transformation method. In order to remove the difference of color and brightness from the junction part, a linear interpolation method is used. As a result it is confirmed that the proposed model which general model of a face can be obtain the 3D virtual image of the individual face.

The objective of this study was to compare tastes-related components and eating quality properties between Hanwoo steer and cow meats. Longissimus thoracis (LT) muscles with same quality grade (1+ grade) collected from left sides of the steer and cow carcasses were used for analyses of technological quality traits, free amino acids (FAAs), metabolites, nucleotides, fatty acids and sensory attributes. there were no differences occurring in the chemical composition (fat, protein, moisture and collagen) and technological quality traits (cooking loss, water holding capacity, shear force and color) between the two beef types (p>0.05). The cow meat exhibited significantly higher amounts of some FAAs associated with umami (e.g., glutamic acid and lysine), sweetness (e.g., proline and glutamic acid) and saltiness (e.g., histidine and glutamic acid) compared to the steer meat (p<0.05). Regarding the nucleotides, no differences occurred in all the identified nucleotides between the two beef types (p>0.05). A total of 27 metabolites were identified, however, only some compounds (e.g., acetate, creatine, creatinine, glucose and inosine, etc.) showed their significantly higher amounts in the cow meat compared with those in the steer meat (p<0.05). In terms of sensory aspects, the panelists found no differences in scores of all the eating quality traits between the two sex types of beef (p>0.05). Overall, excepts some variations in tastes-active compounds, there were no differences in the quality characteristics in general and eating quality in particular between the cow and steer meats when they were in the same quality grade.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of several methods of the patching on the strength of the seam-texture. The main findings warranted from the present study were as follows : 1. The breaking strength was increased in proportion to the number of stitches in the case of 5 stitches per cm and 7 stitches per cm, not in the case of 9 stitches per cm where the tendency to damage the texture stitches appeared because of the excessive. 2. In comparing the effects of three methods (1. attaching a single patch, 2. attaching a single patch and seaming, 3. attaching several ply patch), no significant difference was found among these three. 3. There was a significant difference between the effects of two methods (1. attaching a single patch and stitching one edge of it on one side of the seam, 2. attaching a single patch and stitching both edges of it on the both sides of seam). In other words, the latter was found to be significantly more effective than the former. 4. In the case of unbalanced texture 9for example, single to two ply, single ply to two ply, or single to three ply), attaching a single patch to single ply and stitching both edges of it, and attaching a single patch to cover the plain-seam and stitching both edges of it, were more effective than attaching a single patch without stitching. 5. In comparing the effects of stitching both edges of the patch in 4 stitches per cm by the machine and by the hand, no significant difference was found. But these were more effective than stitching its both edges in 2 stitches per cm by hand. 6. The plain-seam stitched one edge of patch in 2 stitches per cm by machine and other by hand was significantly stronger than the plain-seam without a patch or with patch not stitched.

This paper is focused on the numerical analysis of two Thermal Protection Systems. Both systems have been provided two different temperature of heating at two walls. Outer wall is heated by high temperature($T_{max}$). Inner wall is heated by heat source($710W/m^2$) while the outer wall is heated. Each system has been provided one side heating(outer wall only) and both side heating respectively. The effects of the heat transfer of both sides of wall, PCM temperature variance through the operation time and Inner space average temperature are investigated. The results have shown that the duration of latent heat mainly depends on the materials, the direction of heat transfer and the heat source and these factors should be concerned in the future.

Although timber structures have been extensively used in underground temporary supporting system, their actual performance is poorly understood, resulting in potentially conservative and over-engineered design. In this paper, a novel wireless sensor technology, SmartPlank, is introduced to monitor the field performance of timber structures during underground construction. It consists of a wooden beam equipped with a streamlined wireless sensor node, two thin foil strain gauges and two temperature sensors, which enables to measure the strain and temperature at two sides of the beam, and to transmit this information in real-time over an IPv6 (6LowPan) multi-hop wireless mesh network and Internet. Four SmartPlanks were deployed at the London Underground's Tottenham Court Road (TCR) station redevelopment site during the Stair 14 excavation, together with seven relay nodes and a gateway. The monitoring started from August 2013, and will last for one and a half years until the Central Line possession in 2015. This paper reports both the short-term and long-term performances of the monitored timber structures. The grouting effect on the short-term performance of timber structures is highlighted; the grout injection process creates a large downward pressure on the top surface of the SmartPlank. The short and long term earth pressures applied to the monitored structures are estimated from the measured strains, and the estimated values are compared to the design loads.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate the optimal positions of safety grab bars for effective sit-to-stand (STS) movement by comparing the results of the STS movement while using a safety grab bar installed under two different conditions: the height of the grab bar installation was determined by (1) the Building Act and (2) the principle of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). Methods: A total of 50 undergraduate students participated in this study, and they were required to perform an STS movement twice under each condition. A baropodometric platform for sitting and a Biorescue (RM Ingenierie, France) were used to collect and analyze changes in the center of pressure (COP) on the left and right sides before and after performing the STS movement. The average completion time for the STS movement was also measured for analysis. Moreover, the participants were asked to express their individual subjective preferences regarding the two positions of the grab bars. Results: The COP changes were significantly smaller when performing the STS movement with the grab bar installed at the height determined by the PNF principle than the Building Act (p<0.01), and the difference in the completion time of the STS movement was not statistically significant between the two conditions. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the principle of PNF can be useful for planning therapeutic exercise as well as for proposing the optimal grab bar position for older adults and those with health-related issues when performing the STS movement. In addition, this may serve as a basic rehabilitation technique for maintaining remaining functions and providing functional efficiency.
It is generally known that the mechanism of behavior in the flexible earth retaining system is relatively more complicated than in the rigid earth retaining system. Moreover in the case of long span strut supporting system the analysis of strut axial force change becomes more difficult when the differences of ground condition and excavation work progress on both sides of excavation section are added. When deeper excavation than the specification or installation delay of supporting system or change of ground condition happen during construction process, lots of axial force can be induced in some struts, which threaten the safety of construction. This paper introduces two examples of long span deep excavation where struts and rock bolts were used as a supporting system with flexible wall structure. The characteristics of ground deformation and strut axial force change, which were measured in the sections of two examples that are 50 meters apart in one construction site and have almost similar design and construction conditions were analysed, the similarity and difference between measurement results of two examples were compared and investigated. This article aims to improve and develop the technique of design and construction in future projects having similar ground condition and supporting method.

X-ray images are wildly used in medical applications, and these can be more efficiently find scoliosis which is appearing during the growth of human skeleton than others. This research is focused on the calibration of X-ray image and three-dimensional coordinate determination of objects. Three-dimensional coordinate of objects taken by X-ray are determined by two step procedure. Firstly, interior and exterior orientation parameters are determined by camera calibration using Primary Calibration Object (PCO) which has two sides with embedded radiopaque steel ball. Secondly, calibration cage coordinates which is composed of two acrylic sheets that are perpendicular to X-ray source are determined by the parameters. Three-dimensional coordinates of calibration cage determined by photogrammetric technique are compared with that of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Though the accuracy analysis, X direction which is parallel to X-ray source error values are relatively higher than those of Y and Z directions. But, the accuracies of Y and Z axis are approximately -3 mm to 3 mm. From the research results, it is considered that photogrammetric technique is applied to determine three-dimensional coordinates of patients or assist to make medical devices.
Objective: To investigate the clinical application of differential subsampling with Cartesian ordering (DISCO) contrast-enhanced (CE) magnetic resonance angiography for anterolateral thigh (ALT) flap transplantation, using operative findings as a reference. Materials and Methods: Thirty patients (21 males and nine females; mean age ± standard deviation, 45.5 ± 15.6 years) who were scheduled to undergo reconstruction with ALT flaps between June 2020 and June 2021 were included in the prospective study. Before ALT flap transplantation, patients were scanned using CE-DISCO imaging. All acquired DISCO images of the 60 lower limbs (both sides from each patient) were analyzed using maximum intensity projection and volume rendering methods. Two experienced radiologists were employed to examine the patterns of the lateral circumflex femoral artery (LCFA), its branches, and perforators and their skin termini, which were compared with the operative findings. Results: Using CE-DISCO, the patterns of the LCFA and its branches were clearly identified in all patients. Four different origins of the LCFA were found among the 60 blood vessels: type I (44/60, 73.3%), type II (6/60, 10.0%), type III (8/60, 13.3%), and type IV (2/60, 3.3%). Owing to a lack of perforators entering the skin, two patients did not undergo ALT flap transplantation. For the remaining 28 patients, the ALT flaps in 26 patients were successfully operated without flap reselection during the operation, while the remaining two patients underwent other surgical procedures due to the thin diameter of the perforator or injury of the perforator during the operation. The success rate of flap transplantation was 92.8% (26/28). All transplanted flaps exhibited good blood supply and achieved primary healing without infection or delayed healing. Conclusion: CE-DISCO imaging can be an effective method for preoperative perforator imaging before ALT flap transplantation.
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the impact of two types of information quality, which are platform-oriented information quality and customer-oriented information quality, on customers' decision-making processes in the Online to offline (O2O) platform environment. Grounded in the product brokering efficiency model, which encompasses screening cost, evaluation cost, and decision quality, a model framework was developed. Furthermore, this study explores how these decision-making processes affect customer loyalty. Methods: Given that food delivery apps are the most widely used O2O service in Korea, this study targeted users of these apps for data analysis. We conducted hypothesis testing through a purposive sampling methodology focusing on food delivery app users. A Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling analysis was conducted to analyze the data. The data collection occurred via an online survey from October to December 2021, with a total of 212 respondents participating. Results: The results of this study revealed the significant role of information quality in helping customers' decision processes while using food delivery apps. Specifically, it was found that platform-oriented information positively influences decision quality, while customer-oriented information significantly affects both the reduction of evaluation cost and the enhancement of decision quality. Additionally, the study indicated that lower evaluation costs and higher decision quality lead to increased platform loyalty. However, a reduction in screening cost did not have a significant impact on platform loyalty. Conclusion: While previous studies have overlooked the existence of two sides, service provider and user, in a platform, this research holds significance in its analysis of how information quality impacts loyalty by utilizing the two kinds of information quality. Practitioners can enhance customer loyalty to the platform by enriching customer-oriented information, thereby reducing customers' evaluation costs and encouraging more loyal usage of the platform.
