This study explored the life histories of intermarried Korean men for more than one year before and after their family dissolution. Researcher had in-depth interviews with participants who were selected by purposive sampling from the intermarried Korean men with dissoluted family conditions. Researcher employed the holistic-content approach to analyze the interviewed materials. Mandelbaum(1973)'s conceptual framework-dimensions, turnings, and adaptions-has been taken to present the analyzed contents. The dimensions of men consisted of 'request of continuous money', 'limitation of comprehensible communucation', 'premise terminated marriage: leaving home', 'inassurance of marriage maintenance'. Turnings involved 'abandoned person', 'parents' excessive protection', 'community among themselves', and 'greedy mediator'. Adaptions were observed by 'various feeling card', 'worrying about men's child', 'expecting the future', and 'stopping on foreigner as a partner'. Discussion and suggestion were presented on the basis of these findings: examination of marriage genuineness, Korean men's preparation of marriage, intervention and service for their mental health, supports for their children and strengthen of multicultural family center's function for dissolved family.

An autonomous lan vehicle for agriculture(ALVA-II) was developed. A prototype vehicle was made by modifying a commercial tractor. A Navigation sensor system with a geo-magnetic sensor performed the autonomous operations of ALVA-II, such as rotary tilling with headland turnings. A navigation sensor system with a machine vision system was also investigated to control ALVA-II following a work boudnary.
This study was to explore the life history of an elderly woman who had six times of imprisonment and entered a Samchung re-education camp. This study of life history followed the analysis of Mandelbaum(1973) pointing three perspectives of life: dimensions, turnings, and adaptations. Participant's dimensions of life were exploitation of labor, hostess life for U.S. military, prison life, Samchung re-education camp, marriage with the disabled, life of a farm worker. Turnings of life were serving as a maid, confinement of prison, life of hostess for living, being remanded to Samchung re-education camp by state violence, marriage and divorce, denial of social welfare service. Adaptations of life were downright adaptation in early life, exaggerated act in juvenile reformatory, prostituted women as a simple fortune-maker, adaption as a good wife and wise mother after marriage, resistive adaption as a self-employed. and farm worker. Based upon this results outcome, discussions and implications were suggested.
The purpose of this study is to examine the life of single aged women receiving minimum living expenses. In order to accomplish desired result, I focus on social exclusion and Resisting women agent. So it provides them practical implication. This study approach life history study of qualitative study. Date were collected from four single aged women. Raw date were analyzed by Mendelbaum analysis frame offering dimension, turnings and adaptation. In research findings, their life was 'Begining of wandering' in childhood and then 'Floating life' since their marriage. After breaking up their husbands, They intend to do 'Existential life'. According to these results, I suggest the necessity of strengthening their own ability and taking the life of human nature.

In this paper, we established a prediction model of fuel consumption at the aircraft's taxi operation. To look for countermeasures to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions, Airbus A380's actual ground taxi data was used. As a result, the number of stops or turnings during the taxi operation was not related to fuel consumption. It was confirmed that the amount of fuel consumption in the taxi operation was the taxi time and the thrust change. It can be confirmed that ground control optimization, which is the result of close cooperation between the control organization and the airline, is absolutely necessary to reduce taxi time and minimize the occurrence of thrust change events.
This paper presents numerical analyses of the low speed yo-yo maneuver of an aircraft to determine controls of thrust, bank-angle and angle-of-attack in the subsonic region in terms of the optimal control theory. Minimum-time flight paths are numerically calculated to overtake an opponent aircraft flying in some steady-state level turnings under several assumptions: both of aircraft are point masses and maneuver in the 3-Dimensional space. Their weights are considered constant in the maneuver. As a result of the analyses, the effectiveness of the low speed yo-yo maneuver is shown.
Purpose: This study was done to explore and understand acculturation focusing on reproductive health of immigrant women. Methods: For the research sixteen immigrant women were selected by snowball sampling. Qualitative data were accumulated by in-depth interviews and private document collection. Raw data was analyzed following Mandelbaum's conceptual framework. Results: The dimensions of immigrant women consisted of existence: emerging from the new environment in which it was hard to communicate and to get acquainted with others, reproduction: in the absence of learning and experience, reproductive health crisis, parenting: unmanageable burden. Turnings of life involved 'Inconvenience in one's eyes, vent for conflict and tension: pregnancy', 'strange medical care: accoucheur, rapid medical service', 'pain of morning sickness: poor maternal nutrition', 'manifestation of protective instinct for life'. In adaptations, content was as follows. 1) Standing alone as a Korean housewife, 2) Becoming aware of Korean maternal instinct: thirst for education supporting, 3) Rediscovery of family: growing maternal sense of existence. Conclusion: The results of this study show the acculturation process and the meaning of events related to reproductive health in current lives and can contribute to an integrated understanding of married immigrant women in Korean culture.
Purpose: The purpose of the study was to identify and describe illness experiences of men with myocardial infarction. Methods: Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews with 10 male patients. Analysis was done using phenomenological analysis. Results: Five theme clusters including 11 themes emerged. 1) "Unexpected grave disease instantly dividing life and death" describes the great ignorance of symptoms and experience as a survivor narrowly escaping death. 2) "A disease still not considered a disease" illustrates the paradoxical and confusing situation between low level of awareness of the severity of the disease and high level of reflection on their unhealthy lifestyles. 3) "Fighting against me for health" illustrates their resolution and action to maintain health while experiencing helplessness. 4) "Relationships in a no-win situation" contains defensive posture due to social stigma and the dilemma of family breadwinners. And 5) "Introspection of past and future life" describes positive turnings in life through enlightenment in addition to remorseful feeling about the past and persistent worry of death. Conclusion: Health professionals need to support men with myocardial infarction by providing family-oriented and empowerment-based self-management interventions to lead to success in their illness journey and to improve their quality of life.
The purpose of this research was to explore life history of an elderly woman who fled from North Korea and to understand and provide interventions for female North Korean Defector. The participant of this research is an 81-year-old woman who escaped from North Korea and has lived in South Korea for over 14 years. This life history study followed the analysis of Mandel baum(1973) pointing three perspectives of life: dimensions, turnings, and adaptations. This study concluded that the participant of the research study had no protection while staying in China and North Korea and had experience of Homo Sacer. And even after arriving to South Korea the participant had to live her life with the past negative experiences in North Korea and China. Based on the research results discussions and implications were suggested.

Purpose: Conventional headland turning typically requires repeated forward and backward movements to move the farming equipment to the next row. This research focuses on developing an upland agricultural robot with an optimized headland turning mechanism that enables a $180^{\circ}$ turning positioning to the next row in one steering motion designed for a two-wheel steering, four-wheel drive agricultural robot named the HADA-bot. The proposed steering mechanism allows for faster turnings at each headland compared to those of the conventional steering system. Methods: The HADA-bot was designed with 1.7-m wide wheel tracks to travel along the furrows of a garlic bed, and a look-ahead path following algorithm was applied using a real-time kinematic global positioning system signal. Pivot turning tests focused primarily on accuracy regarding the turning radius for the next path matching, saving headland turning time, area, and effort. Results: Several test cases were performed by evaluating right and left turns on two different surfaces: concrete and soil, at three speeds: 1, 2, and 3 km/h. From the left and right side pivot turning results, the percentage of lateral deviation is within the acceptable range of 10% even on the soil surface. This U-turn scheme reduces 67% and 54% of the headland turning time, and 36% and 32% of the required headland area compared to a 50 hp tractor (ISEKI, TA5240, Ehime, Japan) and a riding-type cultivator (CFM-1200, Asia Technology, Deagu, Rep. Korea), respectively. Conclusion: The pivot turning trajectory on both soil and concrete surfaces achieved similar results within the typical operating speed range. Overall, these results prove that the pivot turning mechanism is suitable for improving conventional headland turning by reducing both turning radius and turning time.
