Basic Construction of Rule-Base for Grinding Trouble -shooting (연삭가공 트러블슈팅을 위한 룰베이스 구성의 기초)

  • Cognition and control of grinding trouble occurring during the grinding process are classified into a quantitative knowledge which depends on experimental data and qualitative knowledge which relies on skilful engineers. Grinding operations include a large number of functional parameters, since there are several ways of coping with grinding trouble. One is the qualitative method which depends on empirical knowledge utilizing the skilful experts from the workship, the other is the quantitative method which utilizes the experimental data obtained by a sensor. But, they are all difficult to accomplish from the grinding trouble-shooting system. The reason is that grinding troubles are now easily controlled in the quantitative method, and therefore, trouble-shooting has mainly relied on the knowledge of skilful engineers. Thus, there is an important issue of how a grinding trouble-shooting system can be designed and what knowledge is utilized among the large amount of grinding trouble information. In this paper, basic strategy to develop the grinding database of rule-based model, which is strongly depended upon experience and intuition , is described.

  • Grinding operations is accomplished by rotating a gfinding wheel with lots of random abrasive at high speed, and its object is generally obtained the fanal workpiece surface of high quality as well as the maximization of workpiece removal rate. But, especiallysince grinding operations is related with a large amount of functional parameter, it is actually difficult to therapy that the grinding trouble occurs during the grinding process. Therefore, we trytodesign grinding trouble-shooting system utilizing the back-propagation model of neural network. The conceptual method is produced byidentifying the four parameters derived from the grinding power, and we are design te to the grinding trouble-shooting system on the basis of their data. In this paper, cognition and therapy method tothe grinding trouble which utilizes neural network based four identified models are suggested, and implementation results of computer simulation with respect to the grinding burn and chatter vibration is presented.

  • The number of the enterprises which utilize network technology has been increasing for solving problems such as productivity improvement, market trend analysis, and material collection for making decision. Especially, the management of equipment and the recovery time reduction when machines break down are very important factors in productivity improvement of the enterprise. Currently, most of the remote trouble diagnosis of equipment using the internet have just one function of transmitting the trouble information to the user. Therefore it does not directly reflect the user's recovery experience or the developer's new recovery methods. If the user's experienced recovery methods or the developer's recovery methods as well as the basic recovery methods are reflected online or on the internet, it makes it possible to recover faster than before. In this paper, we develop a Remote Monitoring Server (RMS) for chip mounters, and make it possible to reduce the recovery time by reflecting the user's experience and developer's new methods in addition to presenting the basic recovery methods. For this, trouble recovery concept will be defined. Based on this, many functions(trouble diagnosis, the presentation of the basic recovery methods, user's and developer's recovery method, counting function of the trouble number of each code, and presentation of usage number of each recovery methods) were developed. By utilizing the reports of the actual results of chip mounter and the notice function of the parts change time, the rate of operation of the chip mounter can be improved.

  • To minimize the train operation interruptions and train exchanges, the RF transmission system is proposed. The current control room of the Seoul Metro has information of the train movement through the Total Traffic Control System, but it does not have information of the train itself, rail status, and other facilities' status. When some trouble occurs during train operation, the train crews should report the control room about the trouble and fix it. If the control room has exact information of the trouble, the expert in the control room can help the crews to fix the trouble swiftly and exactly. Since the crews are busy taking care of the trouble, they often miss to report the control room on time. The proposed RF transmission system relays the information of the train to the control room automatically in real time, and makes it possible to provide the passengers good service by reducing the train operation interruptions and train exchanges.

  • Although a range of machine excavation methods are in wide use, including casing, earth drill and reverse circulation drilling, deterioration in pile quality and faulty construction can be often found these days because of trouble in the construction field. For this study, research was conducted in the form of a survey of construction engineers working in the field in order to identify the types and the causes of trouble by focusing on all casing, earth drilling and reverse circulation drilling. By analyzing the causes of trouble, countermeasures could be presented. The data and the analysts presented in this study could be effectively used for minimizing trouble in future machine excavation work during construction.

STUDIES ON THE SKIN TROUBLE AND THE FACIAL COLOR CHANGE DUE TO HORMONAL CYCLE IN FEMALE

  • Many eastern females concern themselves about the condition and the color of their skin. The purpose of the present study is to classify the skin trouble and the change of the facial color due to hormonal cycle in female. We examined the actual cricumstances by questionnaires, and made patch tests of methyl nicotinate, representing rubefacient, to estimate the epidermal penetratin rate, and measured the facial color change during the menstrual cycle period to invest the correlation factors between skin trouble due to cosmetics and facial color change. Fifty-two percent of subjects had skin trouble relating to cosmetics. One second of subjects with skin trouble due to cosmetic complained the change of sysptom by menstrual cycle. The changes of systptom were related on premenstrual period. The skin trouble developed mainly on the first trimester of the pregnancy. In patch test of methyl nicotinate, most cases showed decreased threshold of the reaction on minstruation, and other cases showed increased reactivity of the skin of menstruation. In facial color measurements, it proves in the appearance of red spot, darkness, increasing the value and turning the hue to yellowish, Also it demonstrates that premenstruation hue turn red and value level decrease. During the period, facial color turns pale and hue progress to yellow. This fact coincides with the questionnaire. We have quqntified through questionnaire, which demonstrates it has good correlation with done to the subjects among the internal environment factors hormonal cycle influences the facial color change and the skin trouble due to cosmetics. Through this paper the development of an more fragmented make-up and skin care products is required to increase the interest to females, to make true the creation of beauty.

  • The trouble of business management of the manufacturing industrial companies in korea are constituted by that average 26∼29% of production management in the worst trouble of business management from 1973 to 1997. A movement for higher productivity and quality is very important of the basis for industry society prosperity. Continuous productivity improvement have a right understanding of a conception of productivity and its effect that are removed an act before the trouble of higher productivity enforcement.   • At present, a lot of researches on AS/RS(Automatic Storage and Retrival System) are being performed and also applied to realization of FA, FMS and CIM. Especially facility management and diagnosis of stacker crane that is major equipment of AS/RS, is recognized more importantly. In this paper, Case Base is designed for manager that is non-expert and it is implemented according to possible trouble case for the purpose of trouble diagnosis and maintenance of stacker crane.
