This study examines research themes, the relationship with other disciplines of Library and Information Science in other to analyze general research trends in the field of Library and Information Science. The Methods used for the study is subject analysis of the general articles and citation analysis by correspondence analysis of SPSS. This study was done to apprehend the general research trends of Library and Information Science in result, most researchers have studied on library related information science. in the future research trends is forecasting to computer-related study.

This paper focuses on the domestic illumination research trends in 2012 based on reviewing the published papers in the Journal of the Korean Institute of Illuminating and Electrical Installation Engineers. It classifies and resumes the papers in five themes including exterior lighting, interior lighting, LED/OLED, optical device and optical fiber, and lighting industry. By comparatively studying a large number of papers published in Japan, North America, and China in the same year, the international illumination research trends are also figured out and further academic research topics are suggested.

The objectives of this study are to examine changes in research on library marketing promotion from its introduction to the present using domestic journals carrying research papers on library marketing, to forecast research trends in the future, and to provide basic information for supporting future studies on subjects related to library marketing. There were a total of 3,951 papers published through the journals in the area of library and information science including 'The Journal of the Korean Society for Library and Information Science', 'The Journal of the Korea Biblia Society for Library and Information Science', 'The Journal of the Korean Library and Information Science Society', and 'The Journal of the Korean Society for Information Management' from their first issues to the present. These papers were searched using selected keywords, and after redundant papers and those not related to library marketing were excluded, 359 papers were sampled for this study and analyzed from different aspects. Findings derived from this study, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by year, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by institution, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by author, with regard to trends in research paper publishing by area, and with regard to trends in research paper publishing by library type.

This study aims to analyze the research trends of oral history research in Korea from 1991 to the present, and to provide basic data on the future direction of oral history research. For these purposes, 439 research articles of domestic oral history researchers from 1991 to 2018 were retrieved by keyword search from Research Information Sharing System (RISS) in Korean Education and Research Information Service (KERIS). The research trends of domestic oral history were analyzed by the volume of periodical research papers, major journals, authors and research funds, research fields and research contents, and international cooperation. Finally, based on the results of the study, the implications were summarized, and direction for follow-up research was provided.

In this study, trends for five research areas of LED(Light Emitting Diode), OLED(Organic Light Emitting Diode), LCD(Liquid Crystal Display), PDP(Plasma Display Panel) and CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) are investigated using bibliometric analysis. The papers and patents citation data were extracted from Scopus and USPTO databases, respectively. We could figure out the research trends by the number of publications and citation information. We prospect the current interests and future trends by investigating the development process of the 5 research areas as function of time.

This study examines research trends in Korean journal articles covering the role of fathers with young children. For this study, 45 research papers published from 2000 to present were analyzed according to research periods, research topics, research types, data collection methods, and data analysis methods. First, the largest number of papers was written since 2010. Second, the largest number of papers in terms of research topics focused on the father's child-rearing involvement and behavior. Third the most frequently used research type was the quantitative study. Fourth, the most frequently used data collection method was the questionnaire method. Fifth, the most frequently used data analysis method was the frequency and mean method. Future research should consider broader age groups of father and children by using various types of data collection and analysis methods. In addition, it should be useful to scrutinize general research trends in Korean journal articles highlighting the importance of roles of fathers with young children in a rapidly changing society.

Smoke is recognized as the major killer in fire situation. smoke often migrate to building locations remote the fire space, threatening life and elevator shafts frequently become smoke-logged, there by blocking evacuation and inhibiting rescue and fire fighting. The purpose of this study is to identify rural research topics, differences in research topics over time, and key mediators through the analysis of academic research trends using topic modeling. This study analyzed a total of 1,183 articles published in the Journal of Rural Planning and Rural Society over a 23-year period (2000-2022). We categorized rural research topics into 30, examined the proportion of research in each topic, and identified major changes in research topics over time. We also identified key words that mediate between research topics. The study found that, first, rural research trends can be categorized into five types (resources and utilization, area/space, people, ecosystem/environment, and tourism), with area/space being the most studied. Subtopics include rural amenities, rural disappearance/village miniaturization, and rural landscape management. Second, the research topics for each period were different. In the first period(2003-2007), the main research topics were rural amenities and Agricultural production- based climate vulnerability assessment. In the second period(2008-2012), the main research topics were Rural extinction and village depopulation, and rural landscape management, and in the third period(2013-2017), the main research topics were rural sixth industrialization and rural ecotourism. In the fourth period(2018-2022), rural development planning and rural life services(life SOC) were the main research topics. The significance of this study is that it extends the existing method of analyzing research trends and provides basic data to enhance comprehensive insights and understanding of rural research.

The goal of this study is to determine domestic and overseas research trends of archives and records management. To overcome limitations of existing research trends analysis, we selected 8 international journals and visualized impact factors geographically based on published articles from 2000 to 2017. And then we performed timeline based contents analysis. To compare with domestic and overseas trends, we selected 6 domestic journals of archives and records management and analyzed by same ways. Based on the results, we investigated the marco trends in archives and records management, identified the difference among countries, and finally predicted the future research trends.

Purpose: This study was to analyze the trends of research on school health by examining papers related to school health. Method: This studt was analyzed all related papers published in journals concerning school health from 2000 to 2006. The data were processed statistically by frequency percentage and content analysis. Results: Among 463 papers in 6 journals related to school health. 'The Journal of the Korean Society of School Health' had the largest number of articles. Descriptive research design was the most frequently used research design, and students were the most frequent research target. Among research writers, the professor group was largest, and schools were the most frequently used place for research. The most common sampling method was convenient sampling. The most common research instrument was questionnaire survey. Parametric statistics were the main methods of data analysis. Among the themes of school health, the adoption of nursing process frames and assessment domains occupied the largest portion. Health was the most common key concept, and the mainly used theory in the journals was factor-isolating. Conclusion: Through the analysis of research trends, we expect a higher level of school health research.
