The clinical study was carried out the 30 patients with tremor who were treated in Daejeon University Oriental Hospital from 1 April 1997 to 31 March 2001. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The ratio of female was higher, especially in the psychosomatic tremor, the ratio of female was higher and in the age distribution the aged over 50 were higher frequence. 2. The case without past history was most, the most ordinary preceding disease was hypertention and the next was diabetes, drinking history had no concern with tremor, first visit was most, in the psychosomatic tremor complication by relation was the most inducing factor and both parkinson tremor and essential tremor were no inducing factor. 3. Tremor appeared to be busy in extremities, parkinson tremor appeared to be accompanied with musculoskeletal system symptoms and they were in descending order lower limb weakness, extremities numbness, general body weakness e.t.c. both essential tremor and psychosomatic tremor appeared to be accompanied with psychosomatic symptoms and they were in descending order dizziness, headache e.t.c. 4. In classification of Four Human coporeal constitution the number of patients, Tae-Eum-In(太陰人) was most, the prescription drugs of tranquillizing the liver and relieving anxiety such as GYEJIYONGGOLMORYETANG(桂枝加龍骨牡蠣湯) and nourishing Yin, blood and relieving anxiety such as SAMULANSINTANG(四物安神湯) were used to be busy. 5. The rate of treatment was collectively improved and was higher in the yaung age than in the old age, the period of the clinical history was the shorter within one month, the rate of improvement was the better.

One of the methods for Parkinson's disease(PD) tremor evaluation is the Clinical Tremor Rating Scale(CTRS). However, the method has some limitations that clinician ratings can vary because the scores are subjectively rated. In addition, most researches usually collected data measured on the more affected arm. In this study, we developed a portable wearable system(SNUMAP system) for measuring PD tremor. The SNUMAP system captures 3-dimensional motion using tri-accelerometer and tri-gyroscope on finger and wrist. 40 PD patients participated in resting tremor and postural tremor tasks, while wearing the system on both hands simultaneously. Estimated tremor scores from Leave-One-Out Cross Validation for regression were highly correlated to the average clinician CTRS scores for rest tremor($r^2$ = 0.87, RMSE = 0.48) and postural tremor($r^2$ = 0.82, RMSE = 0.48). Therefore, the quantitative assessment model can improve treatment of PD patients.

Background : Tremor is a rhythmic, involuntary muscular contraction characterized by oscillations (to-and-fro movements) of a part of the body. Tremor is the common symptom clinically. Objectives : The purpose of this study is to show a case of patient with tremor improved by medication of Bok-jin-centered. Patients & Methods : The patient was 60-year-old woman who complained Cephalic and cheilo tremor. She was treated by oriental medicine with acupuncture, herb medication, physical therapy through the abdominal diagnosis, Bok-Jin. Results : The Cephalic and cheilo tremor was reduced after oriental medical therapy. Conclusion : After the treatment, tremor and other symptoms were improved. This result suggested that Bok-jin is the significant diagnosis and medication of Bok-jin-centered is recommanded.

It has been said that variable anatomical structures and neural circuits are related to the generation of tremor. There are cerebral cortex, thalamus, basal ganglia, inferior olivary nucleus, midbrain tegmentum, stretch reflex, and musculoskeletal structures. The stretch reflex is related with the physiologic tremor and various peripherally originated tremors. We experienced a case with the post-stroke resting tremor which was induced and aggravated by mechanical stretching stimulation. In the present case, stretch reflex has a major role in the generation and exacerbation of tremor. It is presumed that the development of tremor is attributed to the increased rhythmicity of ventral intermedius nucleus of thalamus. The enhancement of thalamic rhythmicity may be due to the increasement of long latency reflex by post-stroke rigidity. This case suggests that stretch reflex may have a major role in the pathophysiologic mechanisms of a certain centrally originated tremor.

Objectives The purpose of this study is to show a case of tremor patient with tremor improved by Oriental medical treatment which is based on the constitutional medicine. 3. Patient & Methods Patients were diagnosed as Taeumin by physical characteristics, posture, and symptoms and were evaluated with an interview and laboratory tests after Sasang constitutional Medicine 4. Result After Yeoldahanso-tang(熱多寒少湯) medication, Taeumin patients were improved the tremor. 5. Conclusions These case-studies show an efficient result of using Sasang traditional medicine in the treatment of tremor.

Tremor is a rhythmic and involuntary muscular contraction characterized by oscillations of body parts. Clinically, tremor is classified into postural tremor, resting tremor, action tremor, and other kinds of tremor, and treated according to the causes. In oriental medicine, Bangpungtongsung-San has been used to treat tremor when diagnosed as wind-heat. Bangpungtongsung-San-gamibang was administered to patients, with tremor from chromic alcoholic derogation and diagnosed as wind-heat and damp-heat. Both patients, treated with Bangpungtongsung-San-gamibang improved in symptoms, so it is here reported for the better treatment.

Tremor is a rhythmic, involuntary muscular contraction characterized by oscillations of a part of the body and is the most common movement disorder. Clinically, tremor isclassified into postural tremor, resting tremor, action tremor, or other kinds of tremor, and treated according to the causes. The appropriate treatment of tremor depends on accurate diagnosis of its cause. We have recently examined a number of tremor-patients diagnosed as cerebellar infarction. Based on traditional Korean medicine curative way, we diagnosed this patient as deficiency of Qi and blood(氣血兩虛). On this account, suitable treatment had been provided. Our results show the clinical symptoms had improved through treatment with herbal medicine (Palmultang-gamibang) and acupuncture, so we report it for better treatment.

Tremor refers to rhythmic shaking of a body part. Tremor is a symptom of many disorders, including Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, orthostatic tremor, cerebellar disease, peripheral neuropathy and alcohol withdrawal. Tremors may be classified as postural, rest or action tremors. Symptomatic treatment is tailored to the tremor type. Because Dansambohyul-tang has been used to treat patients differentiated with an insufficiency of the heart and the spleen(心脾兩虛) in oriental medicine, we treated a 78 year-old female patient who suffered from tremor in mouth, chin and hand and insomnia, with improvement of general condition, who was differentiated with an insufficiency of the heart and the spleen(心脾兩虛) with Dansambohyul-tang, herb complex. After 78 days of treatment with Dansambohyul-tang and some other herb complex, we observed improvement of tremor, insomnia and general condition So Dansambohyul-tang shows therapeutic effects on tremor.

저자들은 최근 글을 쓰는 자세에서는 진전이 나타나지 않고 글을 쓸 때에만 진전이 나타나는 전형적인 원발성 진전 A형을 경험하였기에 이를 보고하며, 본 증례를 통해 원발성 서자진전 A형은 표현 양상으로는 서로 다르나 병태생리적으로 서자경련과 유사한 질환임을 추정해 볼 수 있었다.

32case study was done involuntary tremor which was diagnosed with Neurological test,Brain CT scan,Brain MRI. The results was followed; 1. Psysiological tremor was improved on 16case by Kamisoyosan and Acupuncture of Nagwan,Kongson,Sochung,Sohae,Taedon 2. Tremor was improved on 13cases of 16cases by Sasangbang,Husebang and Chezil-Acupuncture.
