트리잉 열화에 따른 $\phi$-AE 분포특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on $\phi$-AE Distribution Patterns Characteristics due to Treeing Deterioration)

  • In this paper, characteristics of Acoustic Emission in Low Density Polyethylene were studied from tree initiation to breakdown under long-term inhomogeneous alternative electrical field. The voltage levels used were 9, 11 and 14[kV]. Especially, a newly developed automatic measuring system was used to measure time variations of AE average amplitude, AE pulse number, AE pulse distribution patterns due to polarities. The patterns wer specially the variated patterns, when tree propagated. Also, parameters for dielectric breakdown prediction, which were suggested by Okamoto, were calculated. The result was analysed by tree shapes and partial discharge activities in tree due to tree initiation and propagation.

유기물이 첨가된 저밀도 폴리에칠렌에서 예비과전에 따른 트리잉 열화 (The Treeing Deterioration with Prestressed D.C Voltage in Low Density Polyethylen Mixed with Organic Compounds)

  • In this paper, we have investigated the effect of organic additives and prestressed D C. voltage on the impulse tree initiation in low density polyethylene. The five klnds of organic compounds was selected for the purpose of inhibiting tree initiation and 10 wt % of each additive was mixed in low density polyethylene. The positive or negative impulse voltage was applied after prestressed D.C. voltage was applied in order to investigate the effect of the space charge influenced on tree initiation. The lengths of tree initiation in case of belng same polarity between prestressed D.C. voltage and impulse voltage were longer than those in case of being different polarity between prestressed D.C. voltage and impulse voltage. When the polarity prestressed D.C. voltage was the different plarity of impulse voltage, the length of tree initiation increased with increasing the prestressed D.C. voltage and decreasing the rest time Among the organic additives used in this paper, the m-cresol can be shown to be the most effective inhibiter to tree initiation.

  • The Tree observation technique is being highlighted as a research area for deterioration of insulation because of high-voltage power system. For the measurement of tree, image processing is actively studied as a experimental technique of electrical tree, because the conventional directed visual method is impossible to analyze on tree degradation area and tree pattern. In this paper, we have developed the tree measuring system using image processing. By using an image processing technique, the treeing can be easily measured and effectively observed.

대용량 터빈발전기 고정자 권선의 절연상태 평가 (Assessment of Insulation Condition in Large Turbine Generator Stator Windings)

  • This paper describes to access the insulation deterioration condition of the stator windings in three large turbine generators. Nondestructive tests have been carried out on stand-still generators which have been in service for 2 to 30 years. In most cases these tests include ac current increase rate($\Delta$I), delta tan delta( ${\Delta}tan{\delta}$), and maximum partial discharge(Qm). Gen. 2 show that the $tan{\delta}$ is higher than other two generators in the $tan{\delta}$-voltage curve. Partial discharge(PD) patterns were observed internal, corona and treeing discharges in large turbine generators. The PD tests were confirmed the correlation between discharge patterns and the kinds of defects.

  • This paper describes to access the insulation deterioration condition of the stator windings in six high voltage motors. Nondestructive tests have been carried out on stand-still motors. These tests include ac current increase rate($\Delta$I), delta tan delta(${\Delta}tan{\delta}$), and maximum partial discharge(PD). AC current and $tan{\delta}$ were measured by Schering bridge. The measurement of PD patterns were conducted using digital partial discharge detector. PD patterns were observed treeing and internal discharges in Motor 1 and 2. The stator windings of two motors were found to be in a poor condition and their were recommended to rewind. The stator. windings of four motors were judged to be in serviceable condition.

운전 중인 고전압 케이블의 절연저항 측정 및 수명평가장치의 개발 (Development of Equipment to Measure Insulation Resistance and Evaluate the Lifetime of High-voltage Cable in Operation)

  • 이 논문은 발전소에서 설치 운전 중인 6.6kV 고전압 케이블이 시간에 따라 성능이 악화되는 현상의 추세를 결정하는 수명지수를 파악하기 위한 논문이다. 우리가 연구한 케이블 시스템은 설치 후 13 년 동안 운전하고 있다. 삼상전력에 연결되는 변류기, 온도센서 LPF 등을 이용한 측정장치를 개발하여 케이블의 절연저항 변화 특성을 해석하였다. 고전압 22kV 케이블과 비교하면 절연체의 두께가 더 두껍기 때문에 특성을 다르게 나타낸다. 동작시간이 경과함에 따라, 절연저항이 계속 감소하지 않음을 확인 하였다. 일정한 값으로 감소하다가 더 이상 감소하지 않고 상하진동하는 특성을 나타내었다. 지난 13 년 동안의 열화과정을 파악할 수 없었지만, 시스템이 안정 상태에서 동작을 하였다는 사실은 열화가 아직 발생하지 않았다는 의미이다. 이런 경우에는, 수명지수를 예측할 수 없기 때문에 케이블의 수명을 정량적으로 예측할 수 없음을 확인하였다.
