  • Nuclear emergency preparedness and response is an essential part to ensure the safety of nuclear power plant (NPP). Key support technologies of nuclear emergency decision-making usually consist of accident diagnosis, source term estimation, accident consequence assessment, and protective action recommendation. Source term estimation is almost the most difficult part among them. For example, bad communication, incomplete information, as well as complicated accident scenario make it hard to determine the reactor status and estimate the source term timely in the Fukushima accident. Subsequently, it leads to the hard decision on how to take appropriate emergency response actions. Hence, this paper aims to develop a method for rapid source term estimation to support nuclear emergency decision making in pressurized water reactor NPP. The method aims to make our knowledge on NPP provide better support nuclear emergency. Firstly, this paper studies how to build a Bayesian network model for the NPP based on professional knowledge and engineering knowledge. This paper presents a method transforming the PRA model (event trees and fault trees) into a corresponding Bayesian network model. To solve the problem that some physical phenomena which are modeled as pivotal events in level 2 PRA, cannot find sensors associated directly with their occurrence, a weighted assignment approach based on expert assessment is proposed in this paper. Secondly, the monitoring data of NPP are provided to the Bayesian network model, the real-time status of pivotal events and initiating events can be determined based on the junction tree algorithm. Thirdly, since PRA knowledge can link the accident sequences to the possible release categories, the proposed method is capable to find the most likely release category for the candidate accidents scenarios, namely the source term. The probabilities of possible accident sequences and the source term are calculated. Finally, the prototype software is checked against several sets of accident scenario data which are generated by the simulator of AP1000-NPP, including large loss of coolant accident, loss of main feedwater, main steam line break, and steam generator tube rupture. The results show that the proposed method for rapid source term estimation under nuclear emergency decision making is promising.

  • Water resources which is formed of surface and groundwater, are considered as one of the pivotal natural resources worldwide. Since last century, the rapid population growth as well as accelerated industrialization and explosive urbanization lead to boost demand for groundwater for domestic, industrial and agricultural use. In fact, better management of groundwater can play crucial role in sustainable development; therefore, determining accurate location of groundwater based groundwater potential mapping is indispensable. In recent years, integration of machine learning techniques, Geographical Information System (GIS) and Remote Sensing (RS) are popular and effective methods employed for groundwater potential mapping. For determining the status of the integrated approach, a systematic review of 94 directly relevant papers were carried out over the six previous years (2015-2020). According to the literature review, the number of studies published annually increased rapidly over time. The total study area spanned 15 countries, and 85.1% of studies focused on Iran, India, China, South Korea, and Iraq. 20 variables were found to be frequently involved in groundwater potential investigations, of which 9 factors are almost always present namely slope, lithology (geology), land use/land cover (LU/LC), drainage/river density, altitude (elevation), topographic wetness index (TWI), distance from river, rainfall, and aspect. The data integration was carried random forest, support vector machine and boost regression tree among the machine learning techniques. Our study shows that for optimal results, groundwater mapping must be used as a tool to complement field work, rather than a low-cost substitute. Consequently, more study should be conducted to enhance the generalization and precision of groundwater potential map.

  • Arts is the expression of reasoning and conscious life of human and arouse human the concept of existence, utmost emotion and excellent thoughts. Also it makes humans life very abundant. I make it come first to get rid of the art thirst on the opposite sight of technical one for hair as on part of humans body. Next purpose is that to confirm the esthetic value of 'hair arts' by solidify the academic ground of beauty arts through creating 'hair arts' works and learning and make the direction for the beauty industry and education of the next generation. In this study I investigated the Greek myth and the hair styles of ancient Greek Goddesses. On the basis of that symbols I elaborated hair formative works made of metal and studied, analyzed and displayed that. Work No.1 'aphne' pictures the second of changing into a laurel tree avoiding the love. Secondly 'Muse Erato' was exhibited the peaceful figure that have enough the fine melodies. 'Leda' brings out the feature of Leda resembling a swan and the fourth piece, 'Eos' conveys the brilliant and mystery of dawn. So this study conducted based on the concept of practical hair and have made efforts to be close to theoretical manufacturing research needed at making hair arts works and academic one needed at organic design composition for pioneering new field, 'art hair.' I hope these 'hair arts' works make creativity of the practise hair alive. It will be very thankful to me if this study can help even though slightly for splendid beauty arts to make its status firm as a one part of arts, and there are following studies.

  • A survey was conducted to determine the status of Lucerne transient streak virus (LTSV) in three high-yielding alfalfa regions in central Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Qassim, and Hail) during 2014. Three hundred and eight symptomatic alfalfa, and seven Sonchus oleraceus samples were collected. DAS-ELISA indicated that 59 of these samples were positive to LTSV. Two isolates of LTSV from each region were selected for molecular studies. RT-PCR confirmed the presence of LTSV in the selected samples using a specific primer pair. Percentage identity and homology tree comparisons revealed that all Saudi isolates were more closely related to each other but also closely related to the Canadian isolate-JQ782213 (97.1-97.6%) and the New Zealand isolate-U31286 (95.8-97.1%). Comparing Saudi isolates of LTSV with ten other sobemoviruses based on the coat protein gene sequences confirmed the distant relationship between them. Eleven out of fourteen plant species used in host range study were positive to LTSV. This is the first time to document that Trifolium alexandrinum, Nicotiana occidentalis, Chenopodium glaucum, and Lathyrus sativus are new host plant species for LTSV and that N. occidentalis being a good propagative host for it.

  • In order to delivery of the correct information in IoT environment, it is important to deduce collected information according to a user's situation and to create a new information. In this paper, we propose a control access scheme of information through context-aware to protect sensitive information in IoT environment. It focuses on the access rights management to grant access in consideration of the user's situation, and constrains(access control policy) the access of the data stored in network of unauthorized users. To this end, after analysis of the existing research 'CP-ABE-based on context information access control scheme', then include dynamic conditions in the range of status information, finally we propose a access control policy reflecting the extended multi-dimensional context attribute. Proposed in this paper, access control policy considering the dynamic conditions is designed to suit for IoT sensor fusion environment. Therefore, comparing the existing studies, there are advantages it make a possible to ensure the variety and accuracy of data, and to extend the existing context properties.

  • This study introduced food waste into re-vegetation base materials for surface loss recovery of carry-away highway cut slope. The object of this study is to derive the mixing ratio of food waste by conducting a test installation, monitoring, analysis and evaluation for recovery of carry-away highway cut slope. The following items were investigated and analyzed each experimental zone to draw mixing ratio of re-vegetation base materials and food waste : the physical and chemical properties of the vegetation base materials, soil-hardness, soil-humidity, left out and the collapsed point, established number of trees, species richness of grass species and tree species, coverage, pest status, and invasion of disturbance species. The re-vegetation method was evaluated by each experiment zone which has different mixing ratio. As a result, experiment zone A was rated 45 points out of 60 rating points as the best re-vegetation method. However, this study result has been derived from one construction and short-term monitoring. In order to derive the suitable and dependable mixing ratio, conducting an objective re-vegetation method evaluation and long-term experiment and monitoring is required.

  • When the legacy multicast routing protocols are adopted in If-based mobile core networks, there are some problems such as traffic injection from unnecessary sources, traffic overhead by group management and router performance degradation by large amount of multicast session information. In this paper, we propose a stateless multicast mechanism which has no need to maintain multicast information for session status and reduces redundant network overhead for maintaining multicast tree. In addition interworking with IGMPv3 gets rid of traffic from unnecessary sources which have no registration from receivers. The operations of essential components including a gateway node for interworking with the legacy Internet multicast network, a gateway node for transparency to radio access network and a intermediate node in mobile core networks, are definitely defined and the proposed communication architecture is completed. Finally we evaluate and approve the performance of the proposed architecture by means of well-designed network simulation.

  • To predict the postoperative hemodynamic status of right ventricle preoperatively, a retrospective analysis was undertaken to determine the influence of pulmonary artery size on postoperative right ventricular pressure in 32 consecutive patients with tetralogy of Fallot who underwent total correction between July, 1987 to June, 1988 at the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Seoul National University Hospital. We have related the ratio of the postrepair peak systolic pressure in the right ventricle and the systemic systolic arterial pressure[PRV/Ao] to the preoperative cineangiographic measurement of pulmonary arterial tree, expressed as pulmonary artery index[PAI], the ratio of diameter of the right pulmonary artery to diameter of ascending aorta[r.PA/A.Ao], the ratio of right and left pulmonary artery to diameter of descending aorta[r.I.PA/D.Ao] There was tendency that the postrepair PRV/Ao seems to be related to the preoperative diameter of right and left pulmonary artery, but there were no statistically significant correlation with PAI, r.PA/A.Ao, r.l.PA/D. Ao to the ratio of the postoperative peak systolic right ventricular pressure and systemic systolic arterial pressure[PRV/Ao]. There was tendency to decrease the postoperative right ventricular pressure[PRV/Ao] about 11.2%[P < 0.025] within several hours than immediately after repair, but after then, there was no change of right ventricular pressure[PRV/Ao] significantly. There was good correlation of pressure change between the immediate and late postrepair right ventricular pressure[48 hour], and the derived linear regression line was; y=0.68534 0.1994[r=0.57294, P < 0.001]. There was no operative death due to residual high right ventricular pressure[PRV/Ao >0.75] related to hypoplastic pulmonary arterial development, thus we expect, for symptomatic patients even infants, that complete repair can be attempted when the pulmonary artery index[PAI] is over 108mm2/BSA, RPA/AAo is over 0.35, RPA LPA/D. Ao is over 1.36.
