Background : infection associated with otalgia, herpetic eruptions, facial palsy, trigeminal pain and cochleovestibular dysfunction such as hearing dishubance, tinnitus, vertigo and other symptoms, and is not frequently encountered in otolaryngologic field. And facial paralysis occured by this syndrome is rapid in onset, usually severe in degree, and poor in prognosis. Objectives : To evaluate the Oriental Medicine's treatment and prognosis of Herpes zoster oticus and to classify of peripheral Facial palsy on Oriental Medicine. Methods : Clinical observation and analysis about a case of Ramsay-Hunt syndrome III type was done, who visited Dongguk University Gangnam Hospital. This case is managed by integrated therapy of oriental and western medicine. In oriental medicine, to treate ear pain, heonggae-yeongoetang(荊芥蓮翹湯) was given and to treat herpetic eruption, 8 constitution acupuncture treatement was done. In western medicine, antiviral agent, acyclovir and steroid hormone, prednisolon were treated. Result : About 6 weeks treatment, this case which has worse prognosis than Bell's palsy, was completed cured without any complication. Conclusion : 1. Futher divided classification about non-infectious and infectious facial palsy include "Ramsay Hunt Syndrome" is needed. 2. In acute state, Jeonyohwadan's (纏腰火丹) treatement can be applied, but the difference of invasion part, primary symptom such as ear pain and herpetic eruption is needed another treatment. 3. Ear pain and herpetic eruption can be treated in part of poongyeol(風熱) and subyeol(濕熱). 4. In Acupuncture treatement, Jeonyohwadan's (纏腰火丹) treatement can be applied in acute stage and guanwasa's treatement can be applied in chronic stage. but futher research is needed. 5. This case, Ramsay Hunt Syndrome IlI type, was managed by integrated therapy such as heonggae-yeongoetang(荊芥蓮翹湯), 8 constitution acupuncture treatement, acyclovir and prednisolon and this treatement was good effect.

The surface of polypropylene membrane was modified by plasma treatment using Ar,$N_{2}$, $NH_{2}$ and $O_{2}$ Permeabilities for $CO_{2}$, $N_{2}$ and separation factor for $CO_{2}$ relative to $N_{2}$ were measured. The permeation experiments were performed by a variable volume method at $25^{\circ}C$ and 0.303MPa. The effects of the plasma conditions such as treatement time power input gas flow rate and pressure in the reactor on the transport properties of modified membrane were investigated. The surface of the plasma treated membrane was analyzed by means of FTIR-ATR XPS and AFM. The surface structure of the plasma treated membrane was fairly different from that of the untreated membrane. Although the permeation rates for both $CO_{2}$ and $N_{2}$ decreased with increasing plasma treatement time the separation factor was found to be improved by the plasma treatement. The operating conditions of plasma treatement imposed on membranes had notable effect on the permeability and separation factor.

According to its merits about high curing speed and low emission of volatile organic compounds, UV curable inorganic-organic coating technology has been developed as an alternative for toxic and carcinogenic chromate-based treatments for years. It is consistently observed that ultra-thin films offer excellent corrosion protection as well as paint adhesion to metals. Based on the tetra-ethylorthosilicate(TEOS) and methacryloxypropyl trimethoxysilane(MPTMS), inorganic sol was synthesized and formed hybrid networks with UV curable acrylic monomer, 6-hexanediol diacrylate(HDDA), trimethylolpropane triacrylate(TMPTA), pentaerylthritol triacrylate(PETA). Several methods were used to test their properties such as salt spray test, potentiodynamic measurement, tape peel test, etc. It was shown that anti-corrosive property and stability of storage were affected by the molecular ratios of inorganic and organic compounds. It was not only the stability of storage, but had a excellent anti-corrosive, paint adhesive, and anti-solvent properties in a final molar ratios of 0.6/0.04/0.86/0.005 (TEOS/MPTMS/Acetone/HNO3) and 0.08/0.106/0.081/0.02 (TMPTA/HDDA/PETA/photo initiator).

This study was performed to survey the specific information about the time of onset, frequency, duration, and severity of the side effect of radiation therapy following breast cancer surgery, and identify the difference of these data according to the type of breast cancer surgery : modified radical mastectomy(MRM) vs. breast consevative operation(BCO). 38 breast cancer patients were interviewed with side effect profile about radiation therapy. Interview was done weekley from the start of radiation therapy through 6 weeks and 3 month follow-up interview was done at 3 month after completion of the treatment. The results are as follow : 1. Total score of side effect experienced by the breast cancer patients was rapidly increased at 2-3 week after intiating treatement and continousely raised maintaing high score until completion of the treatement. Some problems like cough, dyspnea and pain were more experienced after treatment. 2. Patients with modified radical mastectomy showed more total score of side effects than patients with breast conservative operation. And both patients with MRM and BCO experienced similar pattern of side effect to radiation therapy. Through these data we concluded that side effect to radiation therapy was not ended at completion of treatement. Patents will continously experiend various problems and suffer from not only acute side effects like skin problem, sore throat and swollowing difficulty but also late effect of the radiation therapy. Clinically these data can be used for oncologic nurse to provide informational interventions to prepare breast cancer patients for the radiation therapy.

The authors have observed a case of spontaneous closing of anterior diastema, after removal of impacted paired simple cornical mesiodenses, without active orthodontic treatement in a 8-years-old male patient. It is important that we should periodically check up and early detect them form the age of deciduous dentition.

In order to support effective decision-making related to inter-sewage planning, this study proposes the spatial distribution method of inter-sewage treatement area using spatial analysis of GIS, Communication system of database, spatial interaction of Gravity model. Evalution Indexs are consist of economic, social/political and environmental condition value which are explained by the analysis of AHP algorithm ,based on opinion of related experts. Network module in Arc/Info is applied in order to find out minimum pipeline root in Miho river watershed, one of the sub-basin of Geum river basin. This value also is utilized for the construction of cost decay function in gravity model.

During dental treatment, if a tooth were fractured suddenly by unnoticed tooth crack or vertical root fracture, it would be very embarrassing and frustrating experiences to dentists. But if it were once diagnosed as one of these teeth fracture, dentist should know about the etiology, course of fracture development, treatment modality to avoid argument with patient. In here cases and diagnostic skills, etiology and treatement methods of tooth fracture originated by internal stress and masticatory force were discussed to help dentists.
