비대칭 외판원 문제에서 3-Opt를 응용한 새로운 발견적 알고리듬 (A New Heuristic Algorithm for the Asymmetric Traveling Salesman Problem Using 3-Opt)

  • The asymmetric traveling salesman problem is a representative NP-Complete problem. Polynomial algorithm for this problem has not been yet found. So, many heuristic methods have been researched in this problem. We need heuristic methods that produce good answers for some larger problems in reasonable times. 3-opt is well known for the effective local-search heuristic method. It has been used in many applications of the asymmetric traveling salesman problem. This paper discusses 3-opt's properties and ineffective aspects and presents a highly effective heuristic method. 3-opt does not consider good arcs(shorter distance or little cost). This paper presents a fast heuritic algorithm compared with 3-opt by inserting good arcs and deleting related arcs later.

A Model for Material Handling is an Elevator System

  • This study deals with finding a schedule for the movement of a material handling device (elevator) in a manufacturing plant. Two different algorithm (Traveling Salesman Technique and Greedy Algorithm) are used in the scheduling of the elevators using a simulation technique to determine the proper method of scheduling the elevator movement. Based on the simulation analysis, we have found that the Greedy algorithm serves better than the algorithm based on Traveling Salesman technique for scheduling the movement of a material handling device in the manufacturing plant.

  • The TSP(Traveling Salesman Problem) is one of the most widely studied problems in combinatorial optimization. The most common interpretation of TSP is finding a shortest Hamiltonian tour of all cities. The objective of this paper proposes a new heuristic algorithm MCH(Multi-Convex hulls Heuristic). MCH is a algorithm for finding good approximate solutions to practical TSP. The MCH algorithm is using the characteristics of the optimal tour. The performance results of MCH algorithm are superior to others algorithms (NNH, CCA) in CPU time.

  • This paper suggests a hybrid genetic algorithm for asymmetric traveling salesman problem(TSP). The TSP was proved to be NP-complete, so it is difficult to find optimal solution in reasonable time. Therefore it is important to develope an algorithm satisfying robustness. The algorithm applies dynamic programming to find initial solution. The genetic operator is uniform order crossover and scramble sublist mutation. And experiment of parameterization has been performed.

7-11 GHz, 광대역 MPM 설계 및 제작 (Design and fabrication on 7-11 GHz, Broadband MPM)

  • 본 논문에서는 7 - 11 GHz 대역에서 동작하는 광대역 Microwave Power Module (MPM)을 설계하고 제작하였다. MPM 은 TWT (Traveling Wave Tube)와 SSA (Solid State Amplifier)로 구성되며, TWT와 SSA의 이득을 최적으로 배분하여 잡음지수를 줄일 수 있도록 설계하였다. Agilent사의 ADS (Advanced Design System)을 이용하여 SSA의 컴퓨터 모델링과 시뮬레이션을 수행 하였으며, 직렬 분포형 증폭기 구조를 이용하여 설계 및 제작하였다. 제작된 광대역 MPM은 7 - 11 GHz 대역에서 8.3 - 10.02 dB의 잡음 지수, 9 GHz에서 38.12 dBm의 출력 전력이 측정되었다.

  • 퀘스트(Quest) 시스템은 MMORPG에서 콘텐츠를 제공하는 핵심 시스템 중 하나이다. 퀘스트디자인 업무에서 퀘스트 보상 설정은 게임 내 작용하는 여러 구성 요소의 높은 조합 복잡도로 인해 적절한 보상 수준을 산출하기가 어려운 문제에 속한다. 본 논문에는 퀘스트 보상 문제를 순회 판매원 문제(Traveling Salesman Problem, TSP)로 모델링하여 해결함으로써 적절한 보상수치를 자동적으로 산출해 낼 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 이를 통해 퀘스트 디자인 단계에서 퀘스트 보상 수치 확정을 위한 강도 높은 테스트 부담을 줄이고 정확한 보상 수치를 산출하는데 도움이 될 것이다.

  • This paper presents the dynamic response and the vibration characteristics for a rail-track supported by discrete springs and dampers. Recently, automatic conveyer system, rail-track, rack-master system demand the soundproof facilities and vibration suppression measures in order to satisfy the strict environmental standards. The equations of motions of the dynamic characteristics for a vibration suppression rail-track under a traveling mass were derived by Galerkin's mode summation method considering gravity, centrifugal force, Coriolis force, inertia force of the moving mass, transverse inertia of the rail-track. Also, numerical results were calculated by Runge-Kutta integration method. In order to investigate vibration characteristics and dynamic responses, modal testing and measurement of the responses of the rail-track were performed. Through the experiment and numerical simulations, numerical results have a good agreement with experimental ones.

  • Small FRP(fiber-reinforced polymer) fishing ships have numerous problems with the point of the environmental and recycling perspectives. In light of these aspects, aluminum can be used as a material for ship building. It is environmental friendly, easy to recycle, and provides a high added value to fishing boats. In this paper, we report on mechanical and electrochemical characteristics of welding parts for friction stir welded 5456-H116 Al alloy. In friction stir welded at various traveling speeds under the rotation speed of 500 RPM, the best characteristics presented in traveling speed of 15mm/min. The anodic polarizations of base metal and welding metal were observed tendency which current density from the open circuit potential suddenly increase. The cathodic polarization presented concentrated polarization caused by the dissolved oxygen reduction reaction and activation polarization caused by hydrogen generation. From result of Tafel analysis, the corrosion potential of 5456 alloy(Base metal) was lower than that of friction stir welded part, as were its corrosion current densities.

  • 본 논문에서는 인버터를 사용하여 진행파형 초음파 모터를 구동할 때에 구동 주파수, 위상차 및 상간의 전압을 제어하기 위해 새로운 방식의 초음파 모터 구동용 디지털 제어기를 제안하였다. 제안된 디지털 제어기는 주파수 발생과 위상차 제어를 하기 위하여 기존의 제어기에서 사용한 디지털-아날로그 혼합 방식이 아닌 디지털 논리에 의하여 출력이 발생되며 이로 인하여 제어기의 구성이 대폭 단순해진 특징을 갖는다. 제안된 디지털 제어기는 두 가지 형태로 주파수와 위상만을 제어하기 위한 경우와 상간의 전압까지 제어하기 위한 경우로 분리하였다. 실험에서는 상용 LSI와 EPLD를 사용하여 구현된 단순화된 디지털 제어기의 성능을 평가하였다.

  • A 1.7-ton grade small excavator is a construction equipment that can perform various functions in limited spaces where heavy equipment cannot enter easily. Owing to the recent acceleration of urbanization, it has been used increasingly in drainage and gas pipes, as well as for road repair works in urban areas. The power train of a traveling reducer for a 1.7-ton grade small excavator utilizes a complex planetary gear system. Complex planetary gears are vital to the power train of a traveling reducer as it mitigates the fatigue strength problem. In the present study, the specifications of a complex planetary gear train are calculated; furthermore, the gear bending and compressive stresses of the complex planetary gears are analyzed to achieve an optimal design of the latter in terms of cost and reliability. In this study, the actual gear bending and compressive stresses of a planetary gear system are analyzed using a self-developed gear design program based on the Lewes and Hertz equation. Subsequently, the calculated specifications of the complex planetary gears are verified by evaluating the results with the data of allowable bending and compressive stress based on curves of stress vs. number of cycles of the gears.
