Development of the Object Transport System using Ultrasonic Wave Excitation (초음파 여기를 이용한 물체 이송 시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In recent years, as the semiconductor and the optical industry grows, the necessity of the transporting system for semiconductor and precision optical lens without damage increases. The transport system using ultrasonic wave is very suitable for this area. In this paper the object transport system using the excitation of ultrasonic wave is proposed. The experiments for finding the optimal excitation frequency, finding phase-difference between two ultrasonic wave generators are performed. The effect of transporting speed according to the change of weight and amplification voltage are verified. In addition, the system performance for actual use is evaluated.

  • Two derivatives of star shaped compounds based on naphthylamine with symmetric trisubstituted benzene as core, methoxy and ethoxy as end substitutions are synthesized. The synthesized compounds are characterized by UV-visible, FT-IR and NMR spectrometric techniques. The electronic and thermal properties of the compounds are studied using cyclic voltametry (CV) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) respectively. The data's obtained have similarity with the arylamines that have been already used in optoelectronic devices. So these compounds are interesting materials for applications in such devices.

  • The importance of natural light in building is known by all of us who experienced dark rooms. The sunlight system is very important from energy saving and human welfare point of view. The system consists of light-collecting module, light -transporting module and light-emitting module. The light-collection is used light reflection mirror, a prism for lighting bent, and lens for light condensing. The transportation of collected sunlight is used polished duct, tube, pipe and specially used fiber optic cable. This paper investigate research and development trends of sunlight system for advanced product.

  • In this study, a micro-cavity organic light-emittingdevice (OLED) with semi-transparent-Ag/AgO hole injecting layer (HIL) was fabricated and their performance was investigated. For the fabrication of OLEDs N,N-diphenyl-N,N-(3-methyphenyl)-1,1-biphenyl-4-4-diamine (TPD), known as a hole transporting material and tris (8-hydroxyquinolinato)-aluminum ($Alq_3$) as both electron-transporting layer (ETL) and emission layer (EML) were deposited using thermal evaporation technique. And Al layer as cathode was then deposited using thermal evaporation technique. Effects of the semi-transparent-Ag/AgO layers on the resulting OLED performance were investigated.

  • Low cost TCO(Transparent Conductive oxide) thin films were prepared by 3" DC/RF magnetron sputtering systems. For the AZO preparation processes a 99.99% AZO target (Zn: 98 wt.%, $Al_2O_3$: 2 wt.%) was used. In order to verify feasibility of the AZO thin films to organic light emitting device (OLED) application, test organic light emitting device was fabricated based on AZO as TCO, TPD as hole transporting layer (HTL), Alq3 as both emitting layer (EML) and electron transporting layer (ETL), and aluminium as cathode, where the both ITO and AZO surfaces were treated using $O_2$ RF plasma. The I-V characteristics of the AZO/TPD/Alq3/Al OLEDs were evaluated. As the results, the performance of the OLEDs with AZO as transparent conducting anode could be useable.

  • In the semiconductor and the optical industry a new transport system which can replace the conventional sliding system is required. There systems are driven by magnetic field and conveyer belt. The magnetic field damages semiconductor and contact force scratches the optical lens. The ultrasonic wave driven system can solve these problem. In this paper, the object transport system using the excitation of ultrasonic wave is proposed. The experiments for finding the optimal excitation frequency, finding phase-difference between two ultrasonic wave generators are performed. The relationship of transporting speed according to the change of flexural beam shape is verified and the system performance for practical use is evaluated.

Molecular Cloning and Nucleotide Sequence of Amaranthus viridis Homologue of the H -Transporting ATPase Gene (비름에서 ATP 가수분해효소와 상동성을 가지는 유전자의 클로닝)

  • Using differential hybridization, a cDNA clone was isolated fortuitously from Amaranthus viridis and sequenced. This nucleotide sequence exhibited 55.1% identity with vma6 which encodes the 36-kD subunit of the vacuolar proton transporting ATPase in Saccharmoyces cerevisiae. The predicted open reading frame encodes a protein of 221 amino acid sequence with a calculated molecular weight of 25,452 and reveals high levels of similarity with subunit D polypeptide of vacuolar H -ATP(e.g., 48.5, 52.1 and 49.3% identity to the vacuolar 36-kD chain of yeast, vacuolar 32-kD polypeptide IV of human and vacuolar 28-kD protein of bovine chromaffin granules, respectively). The hydropathy index computation revealed that this predicted protein is a peripheral protein. These results indicated that the predicted protein may play a sturctural role in the vaculor H -ATPase as does gamma subunit in V-type ATPase.

  • 유기태양전지의 대표적 Hole Transporting Layer(HTL)로는 전도성 고분자인 PEDOT:PSS이다. PEDOT:PSS는 약산성의 물질로 전극을 부식시켜 디바이스의 효율을 감소시키기 때문에 PEDOT:PSS를 대체하기 위한 Buffer층에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되어지고 있다. PEDOT:PSS를 대체할 수 있는 Nickel Oxide(NiO) Buffer 층은 wide band-gab으로 Hole Transporting Layer와 Electron Blocking Layer 역할을 동시에 하여 디바이스의 효율을 향상시킬 수 있으며, 디바이스의 수명을 향상시킬 수 있다는 장점이 있다. NiO는 용액공정과 Sputter 증착 방법으로 형성할 수 있는데, 용액공정은 고온공정이 요구되어지고 Sputter 증착방법은 산화되기 쉬운 전극위에서는 전극의 손상을 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 단점을 해결하기 위해서 Ni을 Magnetron Sputter로 증착한 후 Ion Beam 처리를 통해 산화시켜 NiO 층을 형성하는 방법을 연구하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 NiO형성 방법으로 유기태양전지를 제작하여 PEDOT:PSS를 Buffer층으로 사용한 태양전지와 Voc가 0.72 V로 유사하게 나와 NiO가 Buffer층으로 잘 형성된 것을 확인하였다.

Data Transporting between Dynamic Model and Display Model of Power Plant Simulator (발전소 시뮬레이터의 다이나믹 모델과 디스플레이 모델간 데이터전송)

  • The safety and reliability of nuclear power plant operations relies heavily on the plant operators ability to respond to various emergency situations. It has become standard industry practice to utilize simulators to improve the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants operations. The simulators built for Younggwang#3,4, which is the basic model of the Korean Nuclear Power Plant design, has been developed precisely for this purpose. Dynamic Model and Display Model are developed under US3(UNIX Simulation Software Support System) environment in simulator for Younggwang#3,4. Since these two models are developed under each own operating system, it is necessary to develop a method for transporting data between these two systems. This paper descirves communication environment between Dynamic Model and Display Model, and addresses a file generation method for the Display Model, which will be necessary for designing MMI of MCR(Main Control Room) in the furture.

  • Recently, high luminance and efficiency were realize in organic thin film electroluminescence (EL) cells with multilayer structures including an emitting layer (EML), hole transporting layer (HTL), and an electron transporting layer (ETL). In this study, Bis(10-hydroxybenzo[h]quinolinato)beryllium (Bebq2) was synthesized. PL and EL characteristics of their thin film were investigated by fabricating the devices having a structure of ITO/PVK/Bebq2/Al, ITO/PVK dispersed with TPD/Bebq2/Al. The EL color of these device was greenish and the wavelength of their EL peaks was located, respectly, at 495nm, and 492.5nm.
