활어수송용 저온 컨테이너 시스템 연구 (Study of the temperature container system for a live fish transportation)

  • The objective of this study is to manufacture the low temperature waterless container that is compact and low cost for a live fish transportation. Using the low temperature water container, it makes observations on the optimal conditions such as the amount of dissolved oxygen, total ammonia and nitrite in seawater for determining the survival rate of live fish in short and long-term transportation. Using a sole as a live fish, the temperatures of $0^{\circ}C$, 3$^{\circ}C$, 5$^{\circ}C$, 7$^{\circ}C$, 15$^{\circ}C$ were controled for there effects. The results of this investigation show that as the seawater temperature increased, the amount of oxygen decreased and there was a low temperature shock below 3$^{\circ}C$. It was observed that the fish was died with 30$m\ell/\ell$of ammonia. The optimal temperature is about 5$^{\circ}C$ for live fish transportation to maintain best survival rate.

철도교량의 종방향 동적 변위에 따른 전차선로 장력조정장치 거동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Behavior Characteristics of a Tensioning Device of a Catenary System According to the Longitudinal Dynamic Displacement of Railroad Bridge)

  • Since electric railroad vehicle pass through repeatedly on the railroad bridge, the dynamic load that causes the change of tension of contact wire affect it constantly. In this paper, we measured the dynamic displacement of the railroad bridges to analyze the effect of tension in the catenary. A result of dynamic measurement of the longitudinal displacement, it's maximum value was 39.9mm which was lower than the primary management criteria 378mm. Also on the based of a maximum temperature, it shows a feature that the longitudinal displacement value increased as temperature rise from April to October. In terms of behavior characteristics of a tensioning device, it was confirmed to be the value of 50mm stroke movement when the temperature changes ±5℃.

  • An exact solution for the title problem was obtained in closed-form fashion considering general boundary conditions. The expressions of moment, shear and shear coefficient (or shear factor) of cross section under the effect of arbitrary temperature distribution were first derived. In view of these relationships, the differential equations of Timoshenko beam under the effect of temperature were obtained and solved. Second, the characteristic equations of Timoshenko beam carrying several spring-mass systems under the effect of temperature were derived based on the continuity and force equilibrium conditions at attaching points. Then, the correctness of proposed method was demonstrated by a Timoshenko laboratory beam and several finite element models. Finally, the influence law of different temperature distribution modes and parameters of spring-mass system on the modal characteristics of Timoshenko beam had been studied, respectively.

흡수식을 이용한 상온에너지수송의 모사 및 비용평가 (Simulation and Cost Estimation of Energy Transportation at Ambient Temperature Using an Absorption System)

  • The objectives of this paper are to study the effect of key parameters on the cycle performance and capacity and to estimate the cost of latent and sensible energy transportation systems. The overall conductance (UA) of each component, the ambient temperature and the absorber inlet temperature are considered the key parameters. It is concluded that COP of the solution transportation using an absorption system (STA) at ambient temperature is 10% higher than that of the conventional sensible system. It is also found that the cost of STA system can be reduced 7.5 times to that of sensible energy transportation for one year of operation with 10 km transportation distance.

제주산 흥진조생 온주밀감의 유통중 선도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Post-harvest Physiology of Citrus unshiu Marc. Var. okitsu, During Transportation)

  • 제주산 감귤의 유통방법에 따른 선도 변화를 조사하고 저온유통의 효과를 검토하였다. 유통 중 성분변화는 상온(17$^{\circ}C$)유통이 저온(5$^{\circ}C$)유통에 비해서 중량감소는 6% 증가, vitamin C는 1.91mg 감소, 당산비는 20% 증가함을 보였다. 상온유통에서 중량감소로 인하여 당산비가 높아져서 (16.11에서 21.75) 감귤의 맛과 선도가 감소된다. 현행 감귤수송은 상온유통을 하고 있으나 고품질 감귤에는 부적합한 것으로 나타나며 고품질 소량생산 지향의 생산 체계에 저온유통체계를 도입하는 것이 상품성 향상에 중요 할 것으로 사료된다.

도축장에서의 난소운반 온도가 돼지난포란의 체외성숙에 미치는 영향 (Effect of In Vitro Maturation of Porcine Immature Oocyte at Ovary Transportation Temperature from Slaughter House)

  • This study was conducted to find out the recovery rate of oocyte according to the different size of follicles from porcine ovaries, and the effect of in vitro maturation of porcine immature oocyte at the different transportation temperature of ovaries from slaughter house. The results obtained were summarized as follows : 1. The number of follicles per ovary was 22.5. The number of A-and B-typed oocytes(type A: cumulus-enclosed oocyte, type-B : corona-enclosed oocyte) per ovary was 2.4. The proportion of A-and B-typed oocytes was 29.6% of the total recovery oocytes. 2. When the immature oocytes were cultured for 36, 40, 44 and 48 h at 5$^{\circ}C$ transportation temperature of ovary, the germinal vesicle breakdown(GVBD) rates of porcine oocytes were 32.5, 28.2, 22.6 and 25.9% respectively. There were no significant differences between all the culture time for GVBD. Especially, most of oocytes were observed to arrest the development beyond germinal vesicle(GV) stage. 3. When the immature oocytes were cultured for 36, 40, 44 and 48 h at $25^{\circ}C$ transportation temperature of ovary, the GVBD rates were 81.0, 90.0, 91.7 and 92.9%, and the maturation (Met-II) rates were 51.2, 78.8, 76.2 and 78.6%, respectively. 4. When the immature oocytes were cultured for 36, 40, 44 and 48 h at 38$^{\circ}C$ transportation temperature of ovary, the GVBD rates were 93.9, 96.5, 96.5 and 95.3%, and the maturation rates were 62.2, 88.4, 84.7 and 86.0%, respectively. 5. The above results showed that the maturation rates of immature oocytes between $25^{\circ}C$ and 38$^{\circ}C$ transportation temperature of ovary did not differ significantly.

Cointegration based modeling and anomaly detection approaches using monitoring data of a suspension bridge

  • For long-span bridges with a structural health monitoring (SHM) system, environmental temperature-driven responses are proved to be a main component in measurements. However, anomalous structural behavior may be hidden incomplicated recorded data. In order to receive reliable assessment of structural performance, it is important to study therelationship between temperature and monitoring data. This paper presents an application of the cointegration based methodology to detect anomalies that may be masked by temperature effects and then forecast the temperature-induced deflection (TID) of long-span suspension bridges. Firstly, temperature effects on girder deflection are analyzed with fieldmeasured data of a suspension bridge. Subsequently, the cointegration testing procedure is conducted. A threshold-based anomaly detection framework that eliminates the influence of environmental temperature is also proposed. The cointegrated residual series is extracted as the index to monitor anomaly events in bridges. Then, wavelet separation method is used to obtain TIDs from recorded data. Combining cointegration theory with autoregressive moving average (ARMA) model, TIDs for longspan bridges are modeled and forecasted. Finally, in-situ measurements of Xihoumen Bridge are adopted as an example to demonstrate the effectiveness of the cointegration based approach. In conclusion, the proposed method is practical for actual structures which ensures the efficient management and maintenance based on monitoring data.

열화상 카메라를 이용한 검도 동작의 온도 특성 분석 기초 연구 (A Basic Study on Temperature Characteristic Analysis of Kumdo Motion by Infrared Rays Camera)

  • The purpose of this study is to visually confirm on variation of temperature changes according to the basic of Kumdo by using infrared rays camera and to obtain the difference of temperature distribution according to the warm up procedure. We selected randomly two Kumdo players, and recorded twice continuously their actions of three basic(Head Hitting, Wrist Hitting, Waist Hitting) motions of Kumdo. In other to obtain the effect of warm up procedure, we recorded again their actions including warm-up motions. Four measuring points on the body were selected in each motion considering the error on continuous recoding. Temperature distributions of the before and after warming up procedure were analyzed at two measuring point. Skin temperature distributions of the players's body in two cases are shown a similar tendency. It can be predicted that the parts of large physical movement result in the large changes of temperature according to the warm up motion.

열전소자를 이용한 활어 수송용 무수 컨테이너의 개발 (Development of a Waterless Container Utilizing Thermoelectric Modules for Live Fish Transportation)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a low temperature waterless container for live fish transportation which is economical and efficient The principle of the waterless transportation is that a live fish becomes asphyxial at about $5^{\circ}C$can survive without water for a long time. A low temperature waterless container is developed for this purpose, which utilizes thermoelectric modules for rather smaller and lighter cooling system with precise temperature control devise compared to the existing mechanical system. At first, we succeeded in making flounders alive in the waterless container for 24 hours. Also when flounders were transported in a round trip from Inchon to Pusan in the waterless container, carried in a car, they survived in the waterless container for over 21 hours.
