RORO선을 이용한 수출입컨테이너화물의 연안운송에 의한 온실가스 배출량 삭감에 관한 연구 (Study on the reduction of green house effect gas emission by RORO ship coastal transport of import-export container cargo)

  • 본 논문에서는 RORO선을 이용한 연안운송에 따른 CO₂가스 배출량과 NOx가스 배출량의 삭감 효과에 대하여 고찰한다. 먼저 국내 CO₂가스 배출량과 수출입 컨테이너화물의 물동량에 대하여 고찰한다. 다음에 RORO선의 특성, CO₂가스 배출량 기준과 NOx가스 배출량 기준에 대하여 고찰한다. 또한 경인지역과 부산항 사이의 수출입 컨테이너 화물의 운송에 있어서 도로운송을 연안운송으로 전환한 경우의 CO₂가스 배출량과 NOx가스 배출량 삭감 효과에 대하여 계산한다. 마지막으로 RORO선의 적재율과 연안운송 분담율 변화에 따른 CO₂가스 배출량과 NOx가스 배출량 변화에 대하여 조사한다. 본 논문의 결과를 통하여 수출입컨테이너 화물의 운송을 도로운송으로부터 RORO선을 이용한 연안운송으로 전환하는 것이 CO₂가스 배출량 삭감에는 효과적이나 NOx가스 배출량 삭감에는 큰 효과가 없는 것을 확인하였다.

Effect of measurement method and cracking on chloride transport in concrete

  • This paper aims to study the effect of measurement methods and cracking on chloride transport of concrete materials. Three kinds of measurement methods were carried out, including immersion test, rapid migration test and steady-state migration test. All of these measurements of chloride transport show that chloride ion diffusion coefficient decreased with the reduction of water to cement ratio. Results of the immersion test were less than that of rapid migration test and steady-state migration test. For the specimen of lower water to cement ratio, the external electrical field has little effect on chloride binding relatively. Compared with the results obtained by these different measurement methods, the lower water to cement ratio may cause smaller differences among these different methods. The external voltage can reduce chloride binding of concrete, and the higher electrical field made a strong impact on the chloride binding. Considering the effect of high voltage on the specimen, results indicate that results based on the steady-state migration test should be more reasonable. For cracked concrete, cracking can accelerate the chloride ion diffusion.

철도 화물취급역 입환생략모델(E&S) 도입 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effective and Speedy container handing system(E&S) Effectiveness in railroad)

  • The railroad freight transport has great merits that can transport mass and specific items(dangerous goods), but it takes a long time because of low accessibility to the logistics facility and the complex process of loading freight in middle station. This paper analyzed volumes and characters of each railroad freight item, and was carried out the effect of applying E&S system to Gyeongbu line containers to find the method of reducing transport time and effective container transportation. As a result of Cost-Effectiveness analysis, the block train(B/T) is reducing transport time more about 1~2 hours. The road congestion cost is saving about 2.2 billion won. And due to skipping work of organizing train, personnel and equipment expenses savings expected about 9 billion won. It is expected that the E&S system enhances the container transport service and has an effect positive influence on making a efficient method of transport. But It is necessary to estimate pre-feasibility of applying E&S system that the standard of estimating cost and benefit is required further examination.

외부 교류자장이 Bi-2223테이프의 동저항 및 손실특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of an External AC Magnetic field on Dynamic Resistance and Loss Characteristic in a Bi-2223 Tape)

  • A Bi-2223 tape has been developed for power applications such as a fault current limiter, a power cable and a superconducting magnetic energy storage system. In such applications, the Bi-2223 tape carries time varying transport current and in addition experiences time varying external magnetic field. It is well known that the external magnetic field not only causes magnetization loss in the Bi-2223 tape, but also drastically increases transport loss due to a so-called 'dynamic resistance' We developed an evaluation setup, which can measure transport loss in external at magnetic fields. Using this equipment, we measured the dynamic resistances for various amplitudes and frequencies of an external at magnetic field perpendicular to the face in the tape. Simultaneously we investigated the effect of an external ac field on transport loss with different experimental conditions. This paper describes test results ana discussions on correlation between the dynamic resistance and the transport loss for the Bi-2223 tape.

산업연관분석에 의한 운송부문별 국민경제적 파급효과의 상호비교 분석 (A Comparative Study on Economic Effects on the Korean Economy by Transport Mode Using Input-Output Analysis)

  • This paper is concerned with a comparative study on the economic effects upon the Korean economy by transport mode, ie road, rail, air, and coastal and inland water transportation between 1990 and 2000, using input-output analysis. The economic effects consist of backward and forward linkage effects, production inducing and import-inducing effects. The data employed for this study come from the Bank of Korea database for Input-Output structure of the Korean economy. The major findings in this study are, among others:(1) the power of dispersion(=backward linkage effect) of coastal and inland water transportation sector is the highest among the four transport sectors, while road cargo transport mode showed the highest the degree of sensitivity (=forward linkage effect); (2) rail cargo transport recorded the highest production inducing effects; and (3) air transport mode achieved the highest ranking in the import-inducing effects.

  • The interfacial area transport equation dynamically models the changes in interfacial structures along the flow field by mechanistically modeling the creation and destruction of dispersed phase. Hence, when employed in the numerical thermal-hydraulic system analysis codes, it eliminates artificial bifurcations stemming from the use of the static flow regime transition criteria. Accounting for the substantial differences in the transport mechanism for various sizes of bubbles, the transport equation is formulated for two characteristic groups of bubbles. The group 1 equation describes the transport of small-dispersed bubbles, whereas the group 2 equation describes the transport of large cap, slug or chum-turbulent bubbles. To evaluate the feasibility and reliability of interfacial area transport equation available at present, it is benchmarked by an extensive database established in various two-phase flow configurations spanning from bubbly to chum-turbulent flow regimes. The geometrical effect in interfacial area transport is examined by the data acquired in vertical fir-water two-phase flow through round pipes of various sizes and a confined flow duct, and by those acquired In vertical co-current downward air-water two-phase flow through round pipes of two different sizes.

지구 온난화에 따른 물 수송 변화 (The Change of Water Vapor Transport due to Global Warming)

  • 이 논문에서 우리는 대기 대순환 모형을 사용하여 지구 온난화에 따를 육지 대기로의 물 수송 변화를 평가했다. 해양으로부터 육지로의 물 수송 변화량은 지구온난화에 따라 거의 연중 증가한다. 유라시아대륙의 물 수송량은 연중 170∼350${\times}$106 Mt/day 수준의 증가를 보인다. 아프리카로의 수송은 11월을 제외한 모든 달에 감소를 보이고 특히 8월과 9월에 -350${\times}$106 Mt/day의 최대 감소를 나타낸다. 유라시아와 아프리카를 제외한 다른 대륙들에의 수송은 $\pm$80${\times}$106 Mt/day 미만의 증가와 감소를 달에 따라 다르게, 그리고 불규칙하게 보인다. 지구온난화로 유라시아 대륙에로의 물 수송이 전체적으로 증가하지만, 이 대륙 안에 위치한 사막지역의 물 수송은 감소한다. 그러므로, 사막을 제외한 부분, 특히 몬순 지역에 증가 분이 집중될 것이고, 이러한 동아시아 몬순강화의 결과로 몬순지역에 상당한 가용수의 증가가 기대된다.

운송시스템의 리스크 분석방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Risk Analysis Method on the Transport System)

  • 시장의 세계화와 정보통신의 발전에 의해 물류 네트워크가 장기, 복잡화되어 지며, 네트워크 내에서 발생하는 리스크에 대응할 수 있는 시스템 능력이 감퇴했다. 이러한 리스크의 발생에 의해 물류시스템의 신뢰성이 저하되어, 리스크 관리의 필요성이 함께 증가하였다. 본 연구에서는 운송시스템 상에서 발생할 수 있는 리스크를 정의하고, 운송시스템의 신뢰성과 리스크 간의 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 운송시스템의 리스크 인자를 도출하여, 운송시스템의 리스크를 수리적으로 평가하는 분석 방법론을 제안하였다. 리스크 인자의 값을 산정하기 위해 발생 지수와 영향지수를 이용하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 분석방법론을 대형화물자동차 운송시스템에 적용하여 사례연구를 실시하였고, 적용된 운송시스템에 대한 리스크 지수를 최종적으로 도출하였다. 본 연구결과로서 운송시스템에 대한 리스크를 수치화하여 분석 할 수 있음을 보였으며, 향후 본 연구 결과가 운송시스템의 리스크 관리와 리스크 회피전략 도출을 위한 기초연구자료로 활용될 것으로 판단된다.

The role of botulinum toxin type A related axon transport in neuropathic pain induced by chronic constriction injury

  • Background: The mechanism of peripheral axon transport in neuropathic pain is still unclear. Chemokine ligand 13 (CXCL13) and its receptor (C-X-C chemokine receptor type 5, CXCR5) as well as GABA transporter 1 (GAT-1) play an important role in the development of pain. The aim of this study was to explore the axonal transport of CXCL13/CXCR5 and GAT-1 with the aid of the analgesic effect of botulinum toxin type A (BTX-A) in rats. Methods: Chronic constriction injury (CCI) rat models were established. BTX-A was administered to rats through subcutaneous injection in the hind paw. The pain behaviors in CCI rats were measured by paw withdrawal threshold and paw withdrawal latencies. The levels of CXCL13/CXCR5 and GAT-1 were measured by western blots. Results: The subcutaneous injection of BTX-A relieved the mechanical allodynia and heat hyperalgesia induced by CCI surgery and reversed the overexpression of CXCL13/CXCR5 and GAT-1 in the spinal cord, dorsal root ganglia (DRG), sciatic nerve, and plantar skin in CCI rats. After 10 mmol/L colchicine blocked the axon transport of sciatic nerve, the inhibitory effect of BTX-A disappeared, and the levels of CXCL13/CXCR5 and GAT-1 in the spinal cord and DRG were reduced in CCI rats. Conclusions: BTX-A regulated the levels of CXCL13/CXCR5 and GAT-1 in the spine and DRG through axonal transport. Chemokines (such as CXCL13) may be transported from the injury site to the spine or DRG through axonal transport. Axon molecular transport may be a target to enhance pain management in neuropathic pain.

  • In this paper, we describe a versatile use of fullerene(C60) as a charge transporting material for organic light-emitting diodes. The use of fullerene as a buffer layer for an anode, a doping material for hole transport layer, and an electron transport layer was investigated. Fullerene improved the hole injection from an anode to a hole transport layer by lowering the interfacial energy barrier and enhanced the lifetime of the device as a doping material for a hole transport layer. In addition, it was also effective as an electron transporting material to get low driving voltage in the device.
