Transparent conductive oxides (TCO) are necessary as front electrode for most thin film solar cell. In our paper, transparent conducting aluminum-doped Zinc oxide films (ZnO:Al) were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering on glass (Corning 1737) substrate as a variation of the deposition condition. After deposition, the smooth ZnO:Al films were etched in diluted HCI (0.5%) to examine the electrical and surface morphology properties as a variation of the time. The most important deposition condition of surface-textured ZnO films by chemical etching is the processing pressure md the substrate temperature. In low pressures (0.9mTorr) and high substrate temperatures ($\leq$$300^{\circ}C$), the surface morphology of films exhibits a more dense and compact film structure with effective light-trapping to apply the silicon thin film solar cells.

Although a transparent conductive film (TCF) belongs to essential supporting materials for many device applications such as touch screens, flat panel displays, and sensors, a conventional transparent conductive material, indium-tin oxide (ITO), suffers from considerable drawback because the price of indium has soared since 2001. Despite a recent falloff, a demand of ITO is expected to increase sharply in the future due to the trend of flat panel display technologies toward flexible, paper-like features. There have been recently extensive studies to replace ITO with new materials, in particular, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) since CNTs possess excellent properties such as flexibility, electrical conductivity, optical transparency, mechanical strength, etc., which are prerequisite to TCFs. This study fabricated TCFs with single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) produced by arc discharge. The SWCNTs were dispersed in water with a surfactant of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (NaDDBS) under sonication. Carbon black and fullerene nanoparticles were added to the SWCNT-dispersed solution to enhance contact resistance between CNTs. TCFs were manufactured by a filtration and transfer method. TCFs added with carbon black and fullerene nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis spectroscopy (optical transmittance), and four-point probe measurement (sheet resistance).
In this study, we investigate the photovoltaic performance of transparent conductive indium tin oxide (ITO), titanium-doped indium oxide (ITiO), and fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) films. ITO and ITiO films are prepared by radio frequency magnetron sputtering on soda-lime glass substrate at $300^{\circ}C$, and the FTO film used is a commercial product. We measure the X-ray diffraction patterns, AFM micrographs, transmittance, sheet resistances after heat treatment, and transparent conductive characteristics of each film. The value of electrical resistivity and optical transmittance of the ITiO films was $4.15{\times}10^{-4}\;{\Omega}-cm$. The near-infrared ray transmittance of ITiO is the highest for wavelengths over 1,000 nm, which can increase dye sensitization compared to ITO and FTO. The photoconversion efficiency (${\eta}$) of the dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC) sample using ITiO was 5.64%, whereas it was 2.73% and 6.47% for DSC samples with ITO and FTO, respectively, both at 100 mW/$cm^2$ light intensity.

We report a facile method to fabricate superhydrophobic, transparent and conductive film using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) which are coated by polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). In order to prepare a film, PDMS coated MWCNTs were dispersed in solvents and the solution was drop-casted on substrates. It was demonstrated that the PDMS coating enhanced the dispersion of MWCNTs in diverse solvents such as dimethyl formamide(DMF) and acetone without the use of acids or surfactants, which are the common methods. In the case of DMF solvent, dispersion of MWCNT was improved by 40 % upon PDMS-coating of MWCNT. Enhanced dispersion of MWCNTs made it possible to fabricate transparent and conductive film homogeneously on the substrate and PDMS-coating on MWCNTs also made the surface hydrophobic. We can fabricate a uniform and multifunctional MWCNT film (transparent, conductive, superhydrophobic and flexible) which is applicable on large area without any physical damage and expensive equipment.

The transparent conductive film was prepared by bar coating method of poly (3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) and poly (sodium 4-stylenesulfonate) grafted multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWNT-PSS) nanocomposites solution on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film. In this case, multi-wall carbon nanotubes was treated by chemical methods to obtain water soluble MWNT-PSS and then blending with PEDOT. The non-covalent bonding of polymer to the MWNT surface was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA) and Transmission electro microscope (TEM) investigation also showed a polymer-wrapped MWNT structure. Furthermore, the electrical, transmission properties of the transparent conductive film were investigated and compared with control samples are raw PEDOT films.

Nickel oxide is a nonstoichiometric transparent conductive oxide with p-type conductivity, a wide-band energy gap of 3.4~4.0 eV, and excellent chemical stability, making it a very important candidate as a material for bipolar devices. P-type conductivity in Transparent Conductive Oxides (TCO) is controlled by the oxygen vacancy concentration. During the TCO film deposition process, additional oxygen diffusing into the NiO structure causes the formation of Ni 3p ions and Ni vacancies. This eventually affects the hole concentration of the p-type oxide thin film. In this work, the surface morphology and the electrical characteristics were confirmed in accordance with the annealing atmosphere of the nickel oxide thin film.
Materials with a combination of high electrical conductivity and optical transparency are important components of many electronic and optoelectronic devices such as liquid crystal displays, solar cells, and light emitting diodes. In this study, to fabricate a low-resistance and high optical transparent electrode film for organic photovoltaic, the following steps were performed: the design and manufacture of an electroforming stamp mold, the fabrication of thermal roll imprinted (TRI) poly-carbonate (PC) patterned films, the manufacture of high-conductivity and low-resistance Ag paste which was filled into patterned PC film using a doctor blade process and then coated with a thin film layer of conductive polymer by a spin coating process. As a result of these imprinting processes the PC films obtained a line width of $10{\pm}0.5{\mu}m$, a channel length of $500{\pm}2{\mu}m$, and a pattern depth of $7.34{\pm}0.5{\mu}m$. After the Ag paste was used to fill part of the patterned film with conductive polymer coating, the following parameters were obtained: a sheet resistance of $9.65{\Omega}$/sq, optical transparency values were 83.69 % at a wavelength of 550 nm.
