손목시계 형태의 투과형 PPG 측정 장치의 구현에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Implementation of Transmission type PPG Measurement Device in a Wrist Watch)

  • 본 논문에서는 효율적인 손목시계형 PPG 측정 장치의 구현에 관하여 연구하였다. PPG는 반사형 또는 투과형으로 측정이 가능하며, 일반적으로 손목시계의 형태의 PPG 측정 장치는 반사형으로 구현되기 때문에 동잡음에 취약하다는 단점이 있다. 또한 반사형의 경우 한쪽 손을 고정한 상태에서 다른 손을 사용하여 측정을 해야 하기 때문에 활동성에도 제약이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 개발된 장치에 클립형의 투과형 센서를 추가하여 손가락에 고정시킴으로써 측정 시 움직임을 최소화하도록 동잡음에 강건하도록 하였고, 한 손으로 측정이 가능할 뿐만 아니라 탈부착이 가능하도록 구현하여 활동성에 영향이 없도록 하였다. 제안된 장치는 측정된 신호를 실시간으로 전송이 가능하기 때문에 스마트 헬스케어 분야에 적합하며 제안된 장치의 성능을 판단하기 위해 기존의 장치와 같은 조건하에서의 측정된 신호를 비교 실험하였다. 실제 심박수 측정이 가능한 파형을 확인한 결과, 제안된 측정 장치는 기존의 장치에 비해 20%의 성능향상이 있음을 확인하였다.

Response evaluation and vibration control of a transmission tower-line system in mountain areas subjected to cable rupture

  • Transmission tower-line systems are commonly slender and generally possess a small stiffness and low structural damping. They are prone to impulsive excitations induced by cable rupture and may experience strong vibration. Excessive deformation and vibration of a transmission tower-line system subjected to cable rupture may induce a local destruction and even failure event. A little work has yet been carried out to evaluate the performance of transmission tower-line systems in mountain areas subjected to cable rupture. In addition, the control for cable rupture induced vibration of a transmission tower-line system has not been systematically conducted. In this regard, the dynamic response analysis of a transmission tower-line system in mountain areas subjected to cable rupture is conducted. Furthermore, the feasibility of using viscous fluid dampers to suppress the cable rupture-induced vibration is also investigated. The three dimensional (3D) finite element (FE) model of a transmission tower-line system is first established and the mathematical model of a mountain is developed to describe the equivalent scale and configuration of a mountain. The model of a tower-line-mountain system is developed by taking a real transmission tower-line system constructed in China as an example. The mechanical model for the dynamic interaction between the ground and transmission lines is proposed and the mechanical model of a viscous fluid damper is also presented. The equations of motion of the transmission tower-line system subjected to cable rupture without/with viscous fluid dampers are established. The field measurement is carried out to verify the analytical FE model and determine the damping ratios of the example transmission tower-line system. The dynamic analysis of the tower-line system is carried out to investigate structural performance under cable rupture and the validity of the proposed control approach based on viscous fluid dampers is examined. The made observations demonstrate that cable rupture may induce strong structural vibration and the implementation of viscous fluid dampers with optimal parameters can effectively suppress structural responses.

ESDD 오손에 따른 송전용자기애자의 누설전류 파형의 분석 (Analysis of Leakage Current Waveforms for Transmission Line Porcelain Insulators due to ESDD Contamination)

  • This paper reports the contamination performance of transmission line porcelain insulators tested under five different contaminant conditions - clean and ESDD (equivalent salt deposit density) level (A, B, C, and D) through measurement of their leakage current under drop of potential method. To estimate the contamination for transmission line porcelain insulators, leakage current waveform and its maximum value were measured under step-up power test. In the clean insulators test, % distortion factors decreased with increasing step-up power, and as the ESDD level increased, some characteristics such as frequency analysis, harmonics and % distortion facotor could be used for contamination diagnosis of the transmission line porcelain insulators.

  • 안개 제거 알고리즘은 single image에서 대기값(Airlight)와 대기의 빛 전달량(Transmission)을 추정하여 안개로 인한 빛의 산란에 의해 생긴 Contrast 감소 및 채도의 왜곡과 같은 영상 왜곡을 보정해줌으로써 안개 영상에서 안개를 효과적으로 제거해준다. 하지만 기존의 안개 제거 알고리즘은 안개 영상에 특화되었기 때문에 안개가 없는 영상에 알고리즘을 시행 할 경우 색상과 명암에 왜곡을 불러 일으킬 수 있다. 이에 따라 알고리즘을 수행하기 앞서 안개 량을 측정하고 그 결과에 따라 안개 제거 알고리즘에 제거 정도 가중치나 알고리즘 수행 여부를 판단할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 기존 안개 제거 알고리즘들이 영상의 patch를 사용하여 빛 전달량(Transmission)을 추정한다는 것을 이용하여 빛 전달량을 구함과 동시에 안개 량을 판단하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 안개량을 측정하기 위해 각 patch의 pixel 분포 특성과 patch의 빛 전달량(Transmission)을 구하기 위한 특정 값과 실제 pixel의 명암(Intensity)을 비교하여 안개 량을 측정한다.

  • This paper is a study on a model of economic value of transmission speed of Internet Commerce. For this research, this paper searches the factors that influence the transmission speed of Internet and suggests the model for measurement of economic value. The model adopted in this research is CVM(contingent valuation method) using in environment economics and the research area in this paper is concentrated on Internet-based Electronic Commerce. For this purpose, this paper suggests econometrics model that measures customer's payment intention for transmission speed of Internet. This model can be used as the basic tool of feasibility of investment analysis and reasonable pricing on Internet service. For the more, it will be followed empirical study and more careful comprehension for objective validity of this study.

  • In this paper, measured iris transmission loss data and simulated data by using 3-dimension full-wave analysis S/W are presented and compared with Marcuvitz's theory. And by using measured iris data, dual-mode narrow-band channel filters can be successfully implemented. This paper shows that there is severe difference between the transmission loss of iris calculated by using Marcuvitz's equation to calculate iris dimension, if the length of slot iris is longer than .lambda./.pi., and in the long urn the response of channel filter is distorted. Experimental result shows that the characteristic response of implemented channel filter by using the iris transmission loss graph presented here matches well the design specfications. In conclusion, iris transmission loss measurement method will be very useful to design channel filter.

  • A Transcutaneous Energy Transmission System (TET) has been developed for the wireless energy transmission with two magnetically coupled coils. A resonance circuit is used to raise the induced voltage and current of the secondary coil. Its resonance frequency depends on the internal resistance of circuit and the transferred energy. Because the transferred energy usually changes in wide range, the output voltage is unstable and the energy transferring efficiency decrease. A push-pull class E amplifier is usedto generate high frequency AC voltage. To maintain proper resonance frequency, the voltage output of the amplifier was continuously monitored and adjusted to the optimized resonance frequency. Because of its high frequency (370 kHz), a phase lockedloop circuit and a comparator are used to monitor the output waveform. The results of experimentaldata show that the PLL circuit can increase the transmission efficiency and stabilize the output voltage of TET.

Electromagnetic Environment of Transmission Line Based on Full Parameter Online Estimation

  • The parameters of transmission lines have an influence on the electromagnetic environment surrounding the line. This paper proposes a method based on phasor measurement unit (PMU) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) to achieve online estimation of transmission line full parameters, such as resistance, reactance and susceptance. The proposed full parameter estimation method is compared with the traditional method of estimating resistance independently based on SCADA system. Then, the electromagnetic environment is analyzed based on the different parameter estimation methods. The example results illustrate that online estimation of transmission line full parameters is more accurate in the analysis of electromagnetic environment, which further confirms its necessity and significance in engineering application.

트랙터 변속기의 부하 스펙트럼 개발 (Development of a Load Spectrum of Tractor Transmission)

  • This study was intended to develop a load spectrum acting on a transmission of agricultural tractors. Transmission loads were measured at the input shaft of the transmission and final drive shaft of the tractors. The measurement were conducted in five field conditions at two speed levels under plowing operations in Korea. Two torque transducers were developed for the respective load measurements and other necessary instrumentations were made to collect the data and store them in a data logger. The time-histories of the torque loads were analyzed and transformed into the load spectra using the rainflow counting and Smith-Watson-Topper methods. Comparisons of the load spectra developed under different conditions were made to investigate their characteristics. The effects on the load levels of soil and plowing speeds were also investigated. Finally, a load spectrum combining the results of the spectrum analysis was developed and proposed as a load source for the reliability test of transmissions.
