무선전력전송 시스템의 모니터링 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study on Installation of Monitoring System of Wireless Power Transmission System)

  • The electrical safety and efficiency is the most important thing of the electric vehicle charging system. The prior system is contact charging system that is contacted directly by human. So, it has riskiness such as electric shock in the case of poor insulation or contact problems. To solve these safety issues and the convenience problems, a wireless power transmission system has been developed and is currently in trial operation. However, because high frequency is used in wireless power transmission system instead of commercial frequency, we need to apply protection measures concerning electric shock and equipment protection. Also, it should be accompanied by measuring efficiency for the effective operation of the wireless power transmission system. Therefore, we structured monitoring system in trial operation area of wireless power transmission system and applied decision algorithm for protection of human and equipment and economic operation of it.

  • A forklift (also called a lift truck) is a powered industrial truck that is used to lift and transport materials. It has become an indispensable piece of equipment in manufacturing and warehousing operations. The modem forklift is equipped with automatic transmission to meet the requirement of loading and easy operation of the vehicle. This paper proposes the design of TECU(Transmission Electronic Control Unit) which is applied to PSD322-Axle transmission. Garofalo's control technique is generally used to the automatic transmission. We consider the work quality and market requirement that does not want to control engine throttle. This paper proposes new controller system which guarantees efficient speed changes with simple system. This new system does not control the engine throttle spontaneously. But it has the load of engine and vehicle as a maximum disturbance. The scope of the disturbance is limited to the stoll area of the torque converter. This paper proposes a ideal control commander that converges relative velocity of the input and ouput of a clutch into a zero. We design linear controller to execute the idea control commander. We applied the control algorithm to the forklift of PSD322-Axle type and the performance of this controller was verified.

  • This paper presents light transmission efficiency by optical adhesive thickness between MLA and aperture layer and by aperture hole size. The gap between MLA and Aperture layer is adjusted by the shim. The more optical adhesive thickness increases, the better light transmission efficiency increases up to a point. After that, the light transmission efficiency decreases because stray lights cannot transmit through the aperture layer owing to cut-off by aperture layer. And as a result of light transmission efficiency with changing aperture hole size, the light transmission efficiency is proportional to area of aperture hole. The more specified process is made, the better data and sample will be got.

  • Recently, as the era of ubiquitous has arrived, an infrastructure for the short-distance wireless communication has been extended socially, and thus a variety of services are being proposed. The Multimedia Contents Delivery System using the ZigBee, in particular, has an important stance in enlargement of a variety of services in the aspect of individual-oriented service support though Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN). Nonetheless, the ZigBee, or the IEEE 802.15.4 Standard, has many restrictions on the Multimedia Contents Delivery System due to the low data transport rate. In order to improve the ZigBee which presents a limit on the transport rate at the IEEE 802.15.4 Standard, this thesis has designed the burst mode which is a method of transmitting a certain amount of data in block units at a high speed without any stoppage until the completion of the transmission. Also, to provide a Multimedia Contents Delivery Service with an application of the normal data transmission mode, it improved the transmission performance of the ZigBee. In addition, for the Multimedia Contents Delivery Service under the ubiquitous environment, it designed and implemented a broadcasting Multimedia Contents Delivery System based on the ZigBee to conduct a comparative analysis on the data transmission performance according to the transmission method.

I-131 전신 스캔을 위한 Transmission Scan Tool 제작과 활용 (The Fabricating and Utilizing of the Transmission Scan Tool for I-131 Whole Body Scan)

  • 목적 : 분화된 갑상선암 환자에서 방사성옥소(I-131)를 이용한 전신스캔은 보통 수술 후 잔여 갑상선 조직, 재발된 병변 부위 또는 전이 병소 등을 찾는데 유용한 방법이다. 최근 고선량 방사성동위원소를 이용한 치료는 증가 추세에 있으며, 동위원소 치료를 위한 입원대기는 수개월씩 지연되고 있다. 본원에서는 정화조 설비를 확장하여 주당 치료 가능 인원이 증가되었고 이로 인해 I-131 전신스캔 환자가 늘어나면서 검사시간 또한 증가되었다. 이를 개선하기 위해 본 연구에서는 기존의 검사시간을 단축하면서 병소의 위치를 정확하게 구별할 수 있도록 Transmission scan tool을 제작하여 우수한 분해능을 가진 전신영상을 얻고자 한다. 실험재료 및 방법 : 2008년 2월부터 7월까지 본과를 내원하고 ORBITER Gamma Camera를 이용하여 I-131 전신스캔을 시행하는 환자를 대상으로 하였다. 먼저 전신 스캔을 시행한 후 Transmission scan를 위해 검사 Table에 Rail을 설치하고 $^{99m}Tc$-pertechnetate 2 mCi를 희석한 Flood phantom을 올려놓을 수 있는 Tool을 자체 제작하여 Transmission image를 얻어 전신 스캔에 Fusion 하였다. 결과 : I-131 전신스캔과 Transmission scan의 Fusion된 영상은 간단한 marking을 통하여 구강이나 침샘부위, neck 부위의 병소, 전이병소의 위치를 감별하는데 우수한 분해능을 가진다. 또한 추가적인 국소 영상이 불필요하여 8~28분 정도의 검사 소요시간을 단축할 수 있었다. 결론 및 고찰 : I-131 전신스캔에서 Transmission scan은 방사능의 감약을 통하여 체표면의 윤곽을 정확히 나타낼 수 있으며 미리 시행한 I-131 전신스캔과의 Fusion 영상을 통하여 분해능을 향상시킴으로서 잔여 갑상선 조직이나 전이병소 등의 위치를 나타내는데 유용하다. 또한 추가적인 국소영상 촬영이 불필요함에 따라 검사에 소요되는 시간을 단축할 수 있고, 체표면 윤곽을 나타내어 해부학적 위치를 파악하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 다른 임상검사에도 확대 적용할 수 있을 것이다.

60GHz WPAN 시스템의 전송 효율 향상을 위한 협력 통신 기법 (Efficient Cooperative Transmission Scheme for High Speed WPAN System in 60GHz)

  • 본 논문에서는 60GHz WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network) 시스템에서 릴레이를 이용한 협력 통신 기법을 제안하였다. 60GHz 대역은 LOS (Line-Of Sight)가 보장되어 있지 않은 경우 통신이 불가능하고 거리에 따른 신호 감쇄가 심하기 때문에 릴레이를 이용한 협력 통신 기법이 효과적이다. LOS가 존재하는 환경에서도 수신단이 송신단으로부터 받은 데이터뿐만 아니라 릴레이를 통해 데이터를 수신한다면 수신된 정보의 신뢰성을 높일 수 있다. 하지만 이 경우에 송신단이 데이터를 전송하는 시간뿐만 아니라 릴레이가 데이터를 전송하는 시간이 필요하기 때문에 정보의 전송률이 저하된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 협력 통신 시스템에 적합한 Reed-Solomon(RS) code와 convolutional code(CC)의 직렬 연접 부호 구조를 이용하여 이러한 단점을 최소화 한다. 제안하는 협력 통신 기법은 릴레이에서 systematic RS code의 parity만을 convolutional code로 인코딩하여 전송하므로, 릴레이가 전송해야 하는 데이터의 양이 매우 적어 시스템의 전송 효율을 향상시킨다.

Capacity assessment of existing corroded overhead power line structures subjected to synoptic winds

  • The physical infrastructure of the power systems, including the high-voltage transmission towers and lines as well as the poles and wires for power distribution at a lower voltage level, is critical for the resilience of the community since the failures or nonfunctioning of these structures could introduce large area power outages under the extreme weather events. In the current engineering practices, single circuit lattice steel towers linked by transmission lines are widely used to form power transmission systems. After years of service and continues interactions with natural and built environment, progressive damages accumulate at various structural details and could gradually change the structural performance. This study is to evaluate the typical existing transmission tower-line system subjected to synoptic winds (atmospheric boundary layer winds). Effects from the possible corrosion penetration on the structural members of the transmission towers and the aerodynamic damping force on the conductors are evaluated. However, corrosion in connections is not included. Meanwhile, corrosion on the structural members is assumed to be evenly distributed. Wind loads are calculated based on the codes used for synoptic winds and the wind tunnel experiments were carried out to obtain the drag coefficients for different panels of the transmission towers as well as for the transmission lines. Sensitivity analysis is carried out based upon the incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) to evaluate the structural capacity of the transmission tower-line system for different corrosion and loading conditions. Meanwhile, extreme value analysis is also performed to further estimate the short-term extreme response of the transmission tower-line system.

환경조화형 철탑 개발 (Development of Eco-friendly Electric Transmission Towers in KEPCO)

  • Lattice towers and tubular steel poles have been commonly used for electrical power transmission in Korea. They are durable, structurally stable, simple and can easily be constructed in limited spaces. However, residents are opposed to construct transmission lattice towers in their areas because they are not visually attractive, and electrical field occur at the transmission lines. Underground transmissions have been used instead of the traditional towers to resolve these problems, however they are not cost effective to construct and run. Therefore, we have developed eco-friendly towers that are more attractive, well blending into the surrounding environment, and much more economical than underground transmissions. There are four categories of the eco-friendly electric transmission towers about design aspects. Firstly, there is decoration type such as tree tower and ensemble tower. Tree tower looks like actual trees with leaves and branches so it blends into surroundings. Ensemble towers were designed after pair of crane birds. Those towers have decoration features and art works. Structural examination and manufacturing this type would be very similar to the conventional transmission towers. Secondly, there is arm design type such as traditional tower. Design features are added to the existing towers. As partial design can be adoptable on these types, it can easily meet height regulations and attach to conventional lattice towers and tubular steel poles. Also, these towers are more economical than others. Third category is multipurpose type such as Sail Tower. These towers have simple pole or tubular structure with features which can be used as information message board, public relations and much more. This type will face greater wind pressure because of the area of the board, also visibility must take into consideration. Lastly, there is moulding type such as arc pylon. It is different shape to the conventional towers - lattice towers and tubular steel poles. Dramatic design changes have been adapted - from a hard and static tower to a soft and curved tower. These towers will well stand out in the field. However, structural examination and manufacturing this type would be difficult and costly. Also certain towers of this type would require scaffolding or false work to construct, which will result in limitations of the construction area. This paper shows KEPCO 154 kV Sail tower in detail. KEPCO 154 kV Sail tower that is included in fabrication of sample tower and tower testing has developed and the results are presented in this paper. We hope that sail tower is also considered as a solution to have public acceptance or to create a familiar atmosphere among towers and people in coastal area.

무선 LAN에서 Ad-Hoc과 Infrastructure 모드의 자동전환 기술 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an Automatic Switching Technology Between Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure Modes in Wireless LANs)

  • 본 논문은 IEEE 802.11b-무선 LAM 환경에서 ad-hoc 방식과 infrastructure 방식 사이의 자동 모드 전환 기술을 제안하였다. 또한 관련된 기술을 Linux 환경에 맞추어 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 제안된 메커니즘은 AP (Access Point) 서비스 영역 외곽에 switching area를 정의하고 해당 영역에 머무르는 노드는 AP와 음영지역에 있는 ad-hoc 노드를 연결 가능하게 해준다. 본 기술을 활용하여 기존 IEEE 802.11b 환경에서는 서비스가 불가능한 음영지역에 있는 노드에게도 인터넷 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 한다. 성능 검증은 switching area 감지, 패킷 전달 상황 캡춰, FTP 전송을 통한 처리량 측정으로 이루어졌고 그 결과 제안된 메커니즘기 무선 LAN 서비스를 향상 시킨다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

A new developed approach for EDL induced from a single concentrated force

  • In this study, it is presented that a new developed approach for equivalent area-distributed loading (EADL) induced from a single concentrated force. For the purpose, a full scale 3D steel formwork system was constructed in laboratory conditions. A developed load transmission platform was put on the formwork system and loaded step by step on the mass center. After each load increment, displacement was measured in several crictical points of the system. The developed platform which was put in to slab of formwork to equivalently distribute the load from a point to the whole slab was constituted using I profiles. A 3D finite element model of the formwork system was analyzed to compare numerical displacement results with experimental ones. In experimental tests,difference among the displacements obtained from reference numerical model (model applied EADL) and main numerical model (model applied single load using a load cell via load transmission platform) is about %13 in avarage. Difference among the displacements obtained from experimental results and main numerical model under 30 kN single load is about %11 in avarage. The results revealed that the displacements obtained experimentally and numerically are dramatically closed to each other. It is highlighted from the study that the developed approach is reliable and useful to get EDL.
