In this paper, we have presented a real-time transfer mechanism for the delay-sensitive data in WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks). The existing methods for real-time data transfer select a path whose latency is shortest or the number of hops is least. Although the approaches of these methods are acceptable, they do not always work as efficiently as they can because they had no consideration for the link error rates. In the case of transmission failures on links, they can not guarantee the end-to-end real-time transfer due to retransmissions. Therefore, we have proposed an algorithm to select a real-time transfer path in consideration of the link error rates. Our mechanism estimates the 1-hop delay based on the link error rate between two neighboring nodes, which in turn enables the calculation of the expected end-to-end delay. A source node comes to choose a path with the shortest end-to-end delay as a real-time route, and sends data along the path chosen. We performed various experiments changing the link error rates and discovered that this proposed mechanism improves the speed of event-to-sink data transfer and reduces delay jitter. We also found that this mechanism prevents additional energy consumption and prolongs network lifetime, resulting from the elative reduction of transmission failures and retransmissions.
Low frequency interior noise in cars is mainly due to structure-borne excitations which are related with road excitation and component vibrations such as suspension and engine mounts. In order to analyze the annoying interior noise. a technique (Transfer Path Analysis) is introduced to find a noise source and the path of that noise. In this study, TPA is reviewed theoretically and applied to investigate the case when the low frequency interior noise at front seat due to road excitations needs to be optimized. The subjective and objective appraisal was performed under the conditions that a testing vehicle traveled on asphalt at 30 km/h. so that the low frequency to be eliminated was detected. The related vibration and noise data for TPA were measured on running and static vehicle. The results reveal that the noise contribution along the z-direction of trailing arm is prominent to low frequency interior noise.

The active noise control(ANC) method for noise problems solution generally uses filtered-X LMS algorithms. However, Filtered-X LMS algorithms were mainly used but these had a limitation that had to measure a transfer function of secondary noise path. However, newly proposed correlation-LMS algorithms have slightly much calculation and are minutely behind performance, these have a advantage not in measuring transfer function onerously so that we can easily adapt these in real time. Thus Co-LMS algorithm was developed to improve the real-time implementation performance under the variable input noise such as road noise environment. In this paper, the performance of the Co-LMS is presented in comparison with that of the Filtered-X LMS algorithm. Simulation results show that active noise control using Co-LMS have slightly much calculation and are minutely behind performance, these have a advantage not in measuring transfer function onerously so that we can easily adapt these in real time.
We report the application of time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) to the calculation of potential energy profile relevant to the excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) processes in title molecules. The TDDFT single point energy calculations along the reaction path have been performed using the CIS optimized structure in the excited state. In addition to the Stokes shifts, the transition energies including absorption, fluorescence, and 0-0 transition are estimated from the TDDFT potential energy profiles along the proton transfer coordinate. The excited state TDDFT potential energy profile of SA and 3ASA resulted in very flat function of the OH distance in the range ROH = 1.0-1.6 A, in contrast to the relatively deep single minimum function in the ground state. Furthermore, we obtained very shallow double minima in the excited state potential energy profile of SA and 3ASA in contrast to the single minimum observed in the previous work. The change of potential energy profile along the reaction path induced by the substitution of electron donating groups (-NH2 and -OCH3) at different sites has been investigated. Substitution at para position with respect to the phenolic OH group showed strong suppression of excited state proton dislocation compared with unsubstitued SA, while substitution at ortho position hardly affected the shape of the ESIPT curve. The TDDFT results are discussed in comparison with those of CASPT2 method.

This paper describes a direct transmission method of multimedia data stream between a multimedia data processor and a communication interface without using system memory. I propose the direct transfer method of multimedia data through the single data path, without additional data path between a multimedia data processor and a communication interface in multimedia platforms. The hardware architecture and functions for the direct transfer method is defined. Procedure to transfer multimedia data to and from the multimedia data processor is described by means of control flow chart. Comparing the proposed method with general methods, I show that the proposed method can decrease number of bus accesses and bus cycles.

This paper is intended to study how well the routing protocol supplied in wireless mesh networks can evade interference path along the applied routing metric. Wireless mesh networks, unlike existing network techniques, has the characteristics that node movement is less and energy effect is limited. Therefore. this type of network requires path configuring technique to reflect such network characteristics and new routing metric to determine proper path. Routing metric proposed recently is designed to produce link quality accurately, but it configures path not considering the traffic situation of adjacent nodes. Thus. this technique has the problems of reduced transfer rate and delay between terminals occurring due to frequent traffic chaos by the interference of adjacent nodes. Therefore, this paper proposes metric that configures routing path by finding like metric that can transfer data effectively by considering the traffic situation of adjacent nodes. We confirmed through simulation that the proposed routing metric reduces the delay between terminals via the path that evades the traffic interference of adjacent node.
In this study. a traveling control system was developed to transfer a machine without an operator in the working zone. The dimension of the system was modelized to design and construct smaller than that of real configuration of a greenhouse. For this system, the fixed path type was used to detect exact position during operating a manless machine. and the X-Y table actuator type to escape a unique path, which had the disadvantage in a fixed path type environment. Based on the results of this research the following conclusions were made : 1. This system used two screws to move toward horizontal direction, and a Plate to reach at any points in the working zone. 2. The software combined the functions of path selection and motor operation to control into one program. The path selection program was a menu driven program written in Visual Basic, and the motor operation program was written in Borland C++ for actuating motors. 3. The path-select mode of the program was used by selecting the desired paths, and the user path-create mode by selecting a random path in the path-selection program. 4. The system proved to be a reliable system for operating a manless machine, since accuracy and precision to reach the positions were less than 1%.

This paper shows effects of tropospheric delay models and mapping functions among delay features occurred when GPS code signal is transferred for GPS Time Transfer. GPS time transfer uses CGGTTS as the international standard format. For geodetic GPS receiver, ROB has provided r2cggtts software which generates CGGTTS data from RINEX data and all laboratories participated in TAI link use this software and send the CGGTTS results periodically. Though Saastamoinen zenith path model and Niell mapping function are commonly used in space geodesy, r2cggtts software applied NATO zenith path model and CHAO mapping function to the tropospheric delay model. Hence, this paper shows effects of two tropospheric delay models by implementing Saastamoinen model and Niell mapping function for the time offset.

In this paper, we maximize the lifetime of a multi-hop path through a cooperative wireless energy sharing scheme between constituent nodes in a wireless multi-hop communication. Considering a bidirectional multi-hop communication environment, we present an optimization problem to maximize path lifetime by adjusting the amount of energy each node needs to share with its neighboring nodes. On the basis of solidarity property, i.e., the lifetime of the multi-hop path is maximized when the lifetimes of all nodes are the same, we convert the considered optimization problem into a linear programming problem and solve it easily. Simulation result shows that the proposed two-way wireless energy sharing method maximizes the path lifetime of multi-hop communications and approximately doubles the path lifetime compared with the one-way energy sharing method.
This paper presents a facial animation and expression control method that enables the animator to select any facial frames from the facial expression space, whose expression transfer paths the system can setup automatically. Our system creates the facial expression space from approximately 2500 captured facial frames. To create the facial expression space, we get distance between pairs of feature points on the face and visualize the space of expressions in 2D space by using the Multidimensional scaling(MDS). To setup most suitable expression transfer paths, we classify the facial expression space into four field on the basis of any facial expression state. And the system determine the state of expression in the shortest distance from every field, then the system transfer from the state of any expression to the nearest state of expression among thats. To complete setup, our system continue transfer by find second, third, or fourth near state of expression until finish. If the animator selects any key frames from facial expression space, our system setup expression transfer paths automatically. We let animators use the system to create example animations or to control facial expression, and evaluate the system based on the results.
