A Study on the Student Perception Survey to Improve the Quality of Field Practice

  • The purpose of this study was to propose ways to improve the library field practice of Department of Library and Information Science to improve the field environment and educational content, enhance students' field practice, increase efficiency, and increase students' satisfaction. To this end, a survey and interview survey were conducted on students who were going to do field training, and the results are as follows. First, students were well aware of what preparations should be made at school before going to field training. Second, students showed high awareness of their rights guarantees and requests for action in the event of problems at field training institutions. Third, students showed a high demand that field training should guarantee the minimum hourly wage. What is an issue in this regard is that policies that can satisfy both the burden of universities for continuous student guidance and evaluation, the burden of training institutions to conduct education while paying practical expenses, and the rights of students to be protected. This study was aimed at students, but it seems that realistic field practice policies should be presented from various angles as research on government ministries or university authorities is added.

운전자와 현장조업자의 협동훈련을 위한 플랜트 훈련시스템 플랫폼 연구 (A Study on Plant Training System Platform for the Collaboration Training between Operator and Field Workers)

  • Operator Training Simulators (OTSs) provide macroscopic training environment for plant operation. They are equipped with simulation systems for the emulation of remote monitoring and controlling operations. OTSs typically provide 2D block diagram-based graphic user interface (GUI) and connect to process simulation tools. However, process modeling for OTSs is a difficult task. Furthermore, conventional OTSs do not provide real plant field information since they are based on 2D human machine interface (HMI). In order to overcome the limitation of OTSs, we propose a new type of plant training system. This system has the capability required for collaborative training between operators and field workers. In addition, the system provides 3D virtual training environment such that field workers feel like they are in real plant site. For this, we designed system architecture and developed essential functions for the system. For the verification of the proposed system design, we implemented a prototype training system and performed experiments of collaborative training between one operator and two field workers with the prototype system.

평생교육실습 프로그램의 운영실태 및 평생교육사 직무모델에 기반한 요구도 분석 (Survey of Lifelong Education Field Training Programs and Need Assessment Based on Job Model)

  • This study was designed to analyze the present condition of the lifelong education field training program and to implement the need assessment of field training program based on the job model application. In order to achieve these goals, surveys were conducted through questionnaires and in-depth interviews targeting staffs of lifelong education institution in Busan area. The 115 subjects were analyzed by frequency distribution, the paired samples t-test, and the Borich's need analysis. The result showed that the field training program was poorly executed during the year of 2013 due to deficiency of certified practitioners and systematic guidelines. Also, the most highly demanded tasks were promoting change, networking, planning, developing programs and conducting surveys among various roles of lifelong educators. On the other hand, the need for the assisting and supporting programs were relatively low. Finally, this study concluded the need for developing systematic guidelines and for accrediting as a lifelong education field training institution nationwide. The results of this study would ultimately contribute to enhance the quality of lifelong education field training program.

치위생(학)과 학생들의 현장실습 전·후에 대한 만족 정도와 실습 후 진로의사 및 행동과의 관계 (Relationship between career decision/ behavior and the pre-/post satisfaction of dental hygiene students in field practice)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to promote the value of field practice courses by installing an efficient field practice program through understanding the relationship between career decision/ behavior and the pre-/post satisfaction of dental hygiene students in field practice. Methods: The subjects of the study were students in Gyeongnam and Busan majoring in dental hygiene, from which 218 questionnaires were obtained from 23 November 2015 to 30 July 2016. Results: In terms of career decision/ behavior, the post-satisfaction scores in ideas about their major, about whether it was helpful to selecting their speciality and positive impression of dental hygienists, interest and understanding in training course were significantly lower than the pre-satisfaction scores (p<0.05). Relationship between satisfaction in field training and career decision/ behavior following the field training, pre-/post-satisfaction on site-training content (r=0.371, p<0.01), pre-/post satisfaction in training instructions (r=0.267, p<0.01), and pre-/post-satisfaction in the training sites (r=0.436, p<0.01) were all proportionally correlated to the after-training career decision and behavior. Conclusions: It is necessary for training instructors to maintain close relationships with the students in field practice program courses. In advance, it is expected to promote students' satisfaction in field practice and serve as a starting point where students can build self-esteem as a future dental hygienist by positively influencing their career decisions and behaviors.

현장성 강화를 위한 현장직무연수에 대한 운영 및 분석 (Operation and Analysis of field-oriented training to enforce the field education)

  • 최근 산업구조가 고도화됨에 따라 기술의 변화가 크게 일어나고 있으며 특성화고 및 마이스터고의 교육에 있어서도 이와 같은 기술변화에 맞는 교육이 필요로 되고 있다. 이와 같은 요구에 따라 특성화고 및 마이스터고 전문교과 교원에 대한 현장역량강화 및 기업과의 인적 교류 확대를 위하여 현장직무연수 프로그램이 개발되어 운영되었다. 본 연구에서는 한국기술교육대학교 능력개발교육원에서 2013년도 운영된 단기 및 중 장기의 현장직무연수 프로그램을 분석하고 그 문제점과 개선방안을 도출하였다. 분석결과 현장직무연수에 대한 만족도가 상당히 높게 나왔으며 앞으로 산업과 기술의 변화에 대응할 수 있는 연수 프로그램으로 정착될 수 있도록 개선방향을 도출하였다.

전문사서 양성을 위한 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 기반의 문헌정보학 현장실습 교육과정 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on National Competency Standards-based Curriculum Design of the Practical Training Courses in Library and Information Science)

  • 본 연구는 문헌정보학 전공 현장실습의 만족도 영향요인을 파악하고 현장실습교육 구성요인으로서 적합한 NCS 능력단위를 도출하여, 국가직무능력표준(NCS)과 연계된 문헌정보학 현장실습 교육과정 모델을 설계하고 NCS 기반의 문헌정보학 실습교육 내용의 기준 및 지침을 구체화하는 목적을 갖고 있다. 이를 위해 첫째, 국가직무능력표준(NCS)의 추진 현황 특히 문헌정보학 전공분야 NCS 현황을 분석하였고, 둘째, 문헌정보학 전공학생의 현장실습 만족도 조사를 통해 현장실습의 영향요인을 도출하였고, 실습기관인 도서관 현장에서의 NCS와 연계된 현장실습 구성요인의 중요도 및 활용도 평가를 진행하였으며, 셋째, 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 조사결과 등을 통해 국가직무능력표준(NCS)이 실제 도서관 현장의 업무와 적절하게 부합되는 방향으로 NCS와 연계된 문헌정보학 실습교육과정 모델을 설계하였고, 넷째, NCS를 기반으로 문헌정보학 실습교육 내용의 기준 및 지침을 구체화하여 현장실습 실습생에게 요구되는 현장실습 교육지침서를 제안하였다.

기업환경변화에 따른 산학협동현장실습의 활성화 방안 (A Study on the Activation Program of Field-Training with the Change of Economical Environment)

  • The purpose of industry-education cooperation field training is improving students' abilities & skills by working at industrial companies and experiencing how to apply their school knowledge to a real work for some period of time. The followings are recommendable ways of industry-education cooperation field training management to improve the students' adaptability of industrial companies with the most effectiveness (1) Prior to everything, setting the industry-education cooperation field training program to have extreme efficient and managing it with exhaustiveness & intensiveness is necessary. (2) Before sending students to industrial companies for education, the committee must make an inspection of industrial companies to decide whether they have the fine educational value. (3) To assign eve student to proper industrial companies, school authorities must survey the aptitude, desire and ability of each students and peculiarities of each industrial companies. (4) Figure out a way to increase the students' adaptability with a highest degree. (5) To help the employment of students who finished the industry-education cooperation field training with on admirable record, the committee must discuss that matter with industrial companies & students.

역도 인상, 용상 기록향상과 관계가 높은 주요 훈련종목 추출 (Extraction of Major Training Method that are Highly Related to Snatch Record and Jerk Record Improvement)

  • Objective: It is to extract training items that have a high relationship with the improvement of weightlifting records through correlation and regression analysis between training methods used commonly in the field and Snatch records and jerk records. Through this, it is intended to promote training efficiency to improve the records of weightlifters. Method: For 90 elite weightlifters of the professional teams, 4 groups (lightweight (30 people): 61 kg, 67 kg, 73 kg., middleweight (30 people): 81 kg, 89 kg, 96 kg., heavyweight (30 people): 102 kg, 109 kg, +109 kg., the whole group (90 people)) were divided. At the significance level of 0.05, correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were performed between record of training methods used widely in the field and Snatch records and Jerk records. Results: First, the better the record in Jerk, the better the Snatch record. Second, the three training methods HS, ForceS and WP performed in the field were all found to be important factors related to the improvement of Snatch record. Third, In the jerk where there are more types of training than Snatch, three training methods (HC, ForceS, BPP) appeared to be an important training method for improving the jerk record. Conclusion: While many training methods have been devised and carried out in the field, 3 types of training (HS, ForceS, WP) for improving Snatch record and 3 types of training (HC, ForceS, BPP) for improving Jerk record was found to be the most influential training method. Since all of them showed a large value of explanatory power by regression analysis, it is considered that this study is meaningful in that it can promote training efficiency by simplifying although there are many types of training for athletes.

Short-term ICT Training Program for Non-Computer Science Major Teachers in Developing Countries for Improving ICT Teaching Efficacy

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a short-term ICT training course that helps teachers from non-computing disciplines in developing countries acquire flipped-learning content creation skills. A field application is performed by applying the developed ICT training course to secondary school teachers of non-ICT subject specialisms in Laos. In the field study, participating teachers' teaching efficacy on ICT and satisfaction toward the training course are measured. The result of t-test on ICT teaching efficacy showed statistically significant increases in teachers' self-efficacy related to ICT use, both personal efficacy and outcome expectancy. The satisfaction survey performed after training showed that trainees were highly satisfied with the training course. The results of this field study could be used to propose a short-term teacher education model that could be applicable to teachers in other developing countries.

지상 분광반사자료를 훈련샘플로 이용한 감독분류의 정확도 평가: 세종시 금남면을 사례로 (Accuracy Assessment of Supervised Classification using Training Samples Acquired by a Field Spectroradiometer: A Case Study for Kumnam-myun, Sejong City)

  • 많은 연구들에서 영상자료와 분류 알고리즘 측면에서 분류정확도를 비교하였지만, 참조자료 또는 분석자에 의존하는 훈련샘플에 의한 분류정확도 비교와 관련된 연구는 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 감독분류에 있어 훈련샘플로써 지상 분광반사자료의 유용성을 평가하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 초분광영상과 다중분광영상을 대상으로 영상 수집 훈련샘플과 지상 분광반사자료를 사용하여 분류 정확도를 비교하였다. 그 결과 영상 수집 훈련샘플 사용 시 초분 광영상과 다중분광영상에서 공통적으로 약 90%의 분류정확도를 얻을 수 있었다. 그러나 지상 분광반사자료를 훈련 샘플로 사용하면 초분광영상의 경우 약 10%p, 다중분광영상의 경우 약 20%p의 분류정확도 감소가 발생하였다. 특히 다중분광영상에서 분광반사특성이 유사하게 나타나는 클래스들의 경우 분류정확도가 초분광영상에 비해 매우 낮게 나타났다. 따라서 지상 분광반사자료는 다중분광영상에 적용하는 데에는 한계가 있지만, 초분광영상을 이용한 토지피복분류에 있어 유용한 훈련샘플이 될 수 있다.
