The evaluation systems in SHS(Ship Handling Simulator) or ERS(Engine Room Simulator) give trainees the opportunity to feedback how they responded suggesting them the operation result by scores. If SHS and ERS are integrated each other by network to enable the synchronous training for both deck and engine officers these systems need to include inherently the function of integrated evaluation which produces the evaluation score for the team play of deck and engine officers. The integrated evaluation is effective especially when assessing the responses at emergency situation of ship or the matter of efficiency of ship operation even if assessors feel difficult in editing simulation scenarios for integrated evaluation. This study focuses on the property of integrated evaluation and considerations when editing them. It suggests also a useful procedure to estimate whether a scenario for integrated evaluation is reasonable and balanced or not based on the analysis in the proprieties and reasonabilities which are to be prepared by assessors before testing trainees or examinees.

The purpose of Railroad Vehicles License Management in accordance with the Railroad Safety Law is to improve the quality of railroad safety. And the train simulators come into use for training of train operation and testing to issue Railroad Vehicles License. So, It is very important that the simulators for the Railroad Vehicles License Test require to work correctly, to measure driver's operation quality in numerical system and to ensure the justice of license test. In fact, nobody can guarantee that the simulators are feasible performance to use in license test. The simulator for train driver license test can be used effectively for studying of needed performance and quality to test new driver's skill. This study hopefully provides the base for improving the quality of the simulator for train driver's license test and contributes furthermore to improve the simulator development technology and railroad safety.

The spacecraft simulator is used for command validation, operational check of the Satellite Operation Subsystem (SOS), spacecraft anomaly analysis support, satellite operator training etc. In this paper, S/W design features and modeling characteristics of the KOMPSAT Spacecraft Simulator Subsystem (SIM) are described. Validation procedures and simulation results are also provided. The SIM provides extensive simulation capabilities by including models for most of the spacecraft subsystems. The software structure of the SIM was designed and implemented so as to support operations not only in real-time but also in non real-time by utilizing the Hewlett Packard (HP) UNIX functions. The SIM incorporates as many user-friendly Man Machine Interface (MMI) windows as possible so that all the SIM normal operations can be executed through the MMI windows.

This paper proposes a system intergration method for M20J flight simulator development. The simulator consists of three modules. The first module is for flight dynamics simulation, and the second module is for avionic systems and flight instrument and the last module is for interface card which connects PC and input devices using rotary encoders and switches. Two computers are equipped in the simulator for instructor and trainee. An instructor can give a mission to a trainee, and control the flight simulation options through RS-232C serial port. Also, the instructor can monitor the training results of the trainee.

Each 3D visualization program has its own different structure as for the purpose. This paper describes the design and development of an on-line 3D core data visualization program, $RocDis^{TM}$, for the nuclear simulator. It is possible to analyze the inside of the core status including neutron flux, relative power, moderator and fuel temperature in 3D distribution. Some of other essential information, axial flux distribution etc. could also display in 2D graphs. This program would be design, tuning and training for the simulator core model.

As many as 111 reactor trips have occurred for recent 5 years('01-'05), and 26 cases of them have occurred due to human error. The trend of human error rate didn't decrease in 2004, so KHNP started to make efforts to decrease human errors. In 2006 KHNP bench marked excellent foreign nuclear power plants and introduced human error prevention tools. In addition, KHNP created as many as 40 posters for human performance improvement. The posters are based on the about 500 real incident reports collected through K-HPES from 1995. Therror preventive tols for the poster. This paper explains design of the posters and their application.

This paper describes a new bike system for the postural balance rehabilitation training. Virtual environment and three dimensional graphic model is designed with CAD tools such as 3D Studio Max and World Up. For the real time bike simulation, the optimized WorldToolKit graphic library is embedded with the dynamic geometry generation method, multi-thread method, and portal generation method. In this experiment, 20 normal adults were tested to investigate the influencing factors of balancing posture. We evaluated the system by measuring the parameters such as path deviation, driving velocity, COP(center for pressure), and average weight shift. Also, we investigated the usefulness of visual feedback information by weight shift. The results showed that continuous visual feedback by weight shift was more effective than no visual feedback in the postural balance control It is concluded this system might be applied to clinical use as a new postural balance training system.

최근 개발되고 있는 원자력발전소용 OTS(Operator Training Simulator) 개발은 설계 및 해석에 사용되었던 여러 가지 코드(시뮬레이션 소프트웨어)를 수정 보완하여 이들을 상호 통합하는 방식으로 수행되는 경향을 보이고 있다. 기존에 개발되었거나 현재 운영중인 대부분의 OTS는 단일의 고성능 컴퓨터 환경에 의존하므로 발전소 설계와 해석에 사용하였던 서로 다른 코드를 상호 통합하여 사용하기에는 어려움이 많았다. 그러나, 최근에는 컴퓨터의 성능과 네트워크 기술이 비약적으로 발전하여 서로 다른 속성을 갖는 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어를 각각 서로 다른 컴퓨터에 적재 실행시키고 네트워크를 통하여 연동시키는 것이 가능해졌다. 본 연구는 원자력발전소 설계와 해석에 사용하고 있는 시뮬레이션 소프트웨어(노심 모사코드, 열 수력 모사코드, 구조물 모사코드), 인간기계연계(Man Machine Interface) 소프트웨어, 각 모사 소프트웨어간의 통신과 실행을 제어하는 강사 소프트웨어를 분산된 컴퓨터 환경에서 실행시키는 OTS를 개발하였다. 본 연구를 수행함에 있어서 서로 속성이 다른 소프트웨어 모듈을 하나로 통합하는 작업이 가장 부담스러웠다. 따라서, 서로 다른 소프트웨어 모듈을 통합하기 위한 요건을 개발초기에 설정하고, 이 요건을 모든 소프트웨어 개발조직이 준수하도록 하였다. 본 논문에서는 OTS를 구성하는 이질적인 소프트웨어 모듈의 기능과 특징, 이들을 통합하기 위한 요건을 설명한다. 또한 각 요건이 OTS 개발공정에서 어떻게 적용되고 사용되었는지를 살펴본다.

Simulators were introduced in education as a tool to make advanced training standardized, less expensive, and without danger to those involved. In 1922 in the Unites States, Edward Link presented his homemade flight simulator, which became common place in both military and civilian aviation, known as the "Link Trainer". The development of mannequin simulators used for education, training, and research is reviewed, tracing the motivations, evolution to commercial availability, and efforts toward assessment of efficacy of those for teaching cardiopulmonary resuscitation, cardiology skills, anaesthesia clinical skills, and crisis management. This will provide a brief overview of simulators and trainers in several domains.

본 논문에서는 울진 표준형원전 시뮬레이터의 강의실용 교육훈련 시스템의 일원으로 개발된 CBT (Computer Based Training) 및 WBT (Web Based Training)에 대해 다루고 있다. CBT는 발전소 시뮬레이션, 노심 다이나믹스, 중대사고, 비상발령 및 증기발생기 열변환 과정으로 구성되어 있다. Simulator Operation 기능을 이용하면 강사는 강사조작 메뉴를 통하여 시뮬레이터를 조작을 할 수 있고, Sim-Diagram 등 각종 화면을 보여줄 수 있다. 중대사고는 모의사고에 의해 구축된 데이터를 근거로 하여 개발되었으며, 방사선 비상등급에 따라 백색비상, 청색비상, 적색비상으로 구성된 비상발령은 각 발령의 발령상황 등을 Open Window를 통하여 볼 수 있도록 하였다. 한편 WBT는 강사와 교육생이 강의실 이외의 장소에서 시간과 공간의 제약을 벗어나서 원격교육이 가능하도록 구축한 웹서버 환경이다. 현재는 기존에 구축된 강사들의 홈페이지를 Intra-Net환경에서 접근이 가능하도록 링크된 상태에 있다. 향후에는 일부내용에 대해서는 원격으로 강의가 가능하도록 다양한 컨텐츠를 개발할 예정이며, 현재는 발전소 운전과 관련한 교육자료, 각종 동영상 및 이미지, 각종교재 등에 대한 DB 구축을 준비중에 있다
