A Train Ticket Reservation Aid System Using Automated Call Routing Technology Based on Speech Recognition (음성인식을 이용한 자동 호 분류 철도 예약 시스템)

  • This paper describes the automated call routing for train ticket reservation aid system based on speech recognition. We focus on the task of automatically routing telephone calls based on user's fluently spoken response instead of touch tone menus in an interactive voice response system. Vector-based call routing algorithm is investigated and mapping table for key term is suggested. Korail database collected by KT is used for call routing experiment. We evaluate call-classification experiments for transcribed text from Korail database. In case of small training data, an average call routing error reduction rate of 14% is observed when mapping table is used.

  • The Internet reservation service is one of the most utilized internet services, specifically the agent efficiently supports this reservation services. The Agent will replace the repetitious reservation process and selectively offering the most proper service information. In this study, the user assisting agent system that can enable people to make reservation of public transportations through the internet is designed and implemented. This system consists of multiple agents that are Interface agent, 4ask agents and filtering agent. The interface agent is an arbitrator of this system that analyzes user's demand and integrate agent's result. And it has user-adaptive capability using case-based reasoning. There are three task agents if this system, it executes information gathering and information-change monitoring of each. Filtering agent extracts information only about reservation status in gathered information. Finally, this system is to offer integrated information of the reservation status about train and airplane and execute the simple-repetitious works for the reservation instead of user by agents.

  • With the opening of the KTX(Korean Train Express) in April 2004, Express Train service started in KNR(Korean National Railroad). Each KTX train consists of 18 passenger compartments in total, such as of 4 first class car and 14 standard class car. And 2 compartments of standard class are serviced as a unreserved seat only. The Unreserved seat system of the KTX is convenient to the customer who wants to take a train without making a reservation. This study was designed to analyze the unreserved seat system of the KTX which is currently used, and to investigate the necessary conditions for gaining in public favor by developing the system.

  • The construction of the transportation history database system is to serve the scheduling and seat inventory controling. Recently, lots of countries have been faced with the advance era because of the new railway transportation system, like the high speed railway and/or magnetic levitation vehicle system. This can be reasonably translated as those of operators are willing to provide the more various and high quality schedule to the customer. Those operators' these ideas make possible to forecast that scheduling process is going to be complicated more and more The seat inventory control, so to speak Yield Management System(YMS), goes a long way to improve the total passenger revenue at the railway business. The YMS forecasts the number of the last reservation value(DCP# END) and recommends the optimal values on the seat sales. The history database system contains infra-data(ie, train, seat, sales) that will be the foundation of scheduling and seat inventory control application programs. The development of the application programs are reserved to the next step. The database system is installed on the pc platform(IBM compatible), using the DB2(RDBMS). And at next step, the platform and DBMS will be considered whether they can meet the users' requirement or not.

  • 본 연구에서는 열차 예약 영역에 통계적 대화형 인터페이스를 도입하여 보다 자연스럽고 오류에 강인한 서비스 제공의 가능성을 검토하였다. 훈련용 코퍼스를 기반으로 사용자 및 시스템 행동 유형, 상태 변이 확률을 추출하여 정책을 도출하고, 성능분석용 코퍼스 기반 사용자 모델로 그 성능을 실험하였다. 방대한 시나리오의 반영을 위해 대량의 코퍼스 수집이 필요한 예제 기반 대화 정책, 혹은 인식기에 의한 오류나 노이즈를 고려하지 않음으로써 현실의 불확실성을 자연스럽게 반영하지 못하는 MDP 대화 정책에 비해 POMDP 정책은 효율적이고 빠른 훈련 알고리즘을 지속적으로 개선시켜 나간다면 적은 노력과 비용으로 효율적이고 강인한 대화 서비스의 제공이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.
