전기철도 속도향상에 따른 전차선로 가선 시스템 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Overhead Contact Lines Optimization According to the Increased Train Speed)

  • The optimization of the overhead contact lines according to the increased train speed is to design the low-sag-wire so that the pantograph can follow the vertical fluctuation of the catenary. Main factors for the overhead contact lines design include the span, dropper interval, movable bracket, vertical fluctuation of the catenary, tension, and wave propagation speed. In this paper, a model is proposed to improve the electric railway speed, and the speed improvement analysis technology is examined to ensure the stable and reliable electric railway. In addition, the effect between pantograph and catenary according to the speed improvement is quantitatively analyzed by using simulation.

  • 본 논문은 광섬유 증폭기에서 입력 펄스 열에 따른 gain recovery 특성을 고찰하였다. 1.3$\mu\textrm{m}$대역에서 증폭특성을 갖는 PDFA(Praseodymium-Doped Fiber Amplifier)의 WDM 적용시 short pulse 열을 인가한 경우 발생할 수 있는 이득 포화 및 복구의 시간적 한계를 이론적으로 해석하였다. 펄스열의 간격과 펌프 파워, 그리고 펄스 간격에 따른 이득 포화 및 복구 시간이 광 펄스의 증폭에 미치는 영향을 예측할 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we proposed the automatic vision inspection system using multi-layer perceptron to detect the defects occurred on rail surface. The proposed system consists of image acquisition part and analysis part. Rail surface image is acquired as equal interval using line scan camera and lighting. Mean filter and dynamic threshold is used to reduce noise and segment defect area. Various features to characterize the defects are extracted. And they are used to train and distinguish defects by MLP-classifier. The system is installed on HEMU-430X and applied to analyze the rail surface images acquired from Honam-line at high speed up to 300 km/h. Recognition rate is calculated through comparison with manual inspection results.

  • Nine different types of the reinforced railroad roadbeds which . are located in between Suwon-Chunan station of Kyongbu line were constructed in order to increase the bearing capacity of railroad roadbed and to improve the ridability as a part of speed-up project of conventional railroad systems. Each three sections were composed of weathered granite soil, crushed stone and furnace slag(HMS25), and fully instrumented with earth pressure cells, settlement plates and geophones to monitor the behavior of roadbeds under actual train loads. Field measurement has continued since October 31, 2000 and presently with rather longer measurement interval. The measurement data such as settlement, earth pressure and vibration levels are currently under analysis process. In this paper, only cumulative measurement data of railroad roadbeds were introduced. In the near future, comprehensive measurement data and result of analysis will be presented and design technique for the reinforced railroad roadbed will be proposed as a final product of this study.

  • After the reform of rail industry, a system to evaluate service qualities is required for the continuous improvement of railway service and the strength of competitiveness. This research provides evaluation categories and indices which are considered to be suited to the evaluation of rail service qualities. This study provides 4 categories and 11 indices to assess the rail service qualities: provision-operation interval/average operation speed, reliability-regularity/operation cancellation rate, safety- train usage term/facilities for the weak, client satisfaction- easiness of reserving and purchasing of tickets/comfort of queuing facilities/ kindness of train crews/ pleasantness of trains/provision of information, etc.

AF궤도회로에서 전기적 절연구간의 길이에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Length of Electrical Separation Joint in AF Track Circuit)

  • The electrical separation joint as a filter circuit distributes the track circuit frequency. The electrical separation joint is classified into the interval where reinforcing bars are insulated and not insulated through the length of track circuit. In case of incorrectly setting up the length of electrical separation joint, the amplitude of current on the track circuit is not over standard current which is the standard of current on the track circuit and it effects on the close frequency on track circuit. Then, it makes an accident or makes a train not receive information for train control. In this paper, the electrical separation joint model is suggested and parameters are numerically calculated in the model. Moreover, the length of electrical separation joint is analyzed and is demonstrated by uisng Matlab and PSpice program.

Regenerative Er-doped Fiber Amplifier System for High-repetition-rate Optical Pulses

  • A regenerative Er-doped fiber amplifier system for a high-repetition-rate optical pulse train is investigated for the first time. A signal pulse train with a wavelength tuning range of 18 nm is produced by a passive mode-locked fiber laser based on a nonlinear polarization rotation technique. In order to realize the amplification, an optical delay-line is used to achieve time match between the pulses' interval and the period of pulse running through the regenerative amplifier. The 16 dB gain is obtained for an input pulse train with a launching power of -30.4 dBm, a center wavelength of 1563.4 nm and a repetition rate of 15.3 MHz. The output properties of signal pulses with different center wavelengths are also discussed. The pulse amplification is found to be different from the regenerative amplification system for CW signals.

  • Typically, studies through the simulation system have been progressed, because the evaluation of the driver's arousal state about the service of a actual train has risk of safety for the driver. When configured event same as the real in simulation system, the ability to cope with an accident situation may be the same each other. But the difference in the state of tension or arousal will occur. In this study, requested to cooperate with the railways in order to escape from these constraints, and the target of the experiment was to real engineer service. I was set about experiment when the train was stopped as safe as possible. As a result, the beta wave of EEG signals that representing complex calculations or anxiety is increased rapidly on the basis of a flag station from at the time of departure. The size of the electrodermal activity signal in response to movement of the body gave a noticeable. In terms of HRV, if the train approach a flag station gradually and the R-R interval is narrowed. So that the driver can be estimated as arousal state. In accordance with this study, if the quantitative standard of arousal state be based on the driver's biosignals will provide, it will be able to take advantage of development the system that would prevent train accidents caused by human error.

무선통신기반 열차제어에 의한 무인운전기술에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Drive-less Operating Technology using Communication Based Train Control)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 궤도회로(Track Circuit)를 이용하는 FBS의 설비측면에서 단락감도 및 선로변 설비(지상설비)의 규모에 따른 유지보수의 증가 등의 문제점을 극복하고, 차량간 간격을 근접시키기 위한 열차제어 개념인 MBS의 구현에 따른 무인운전기술의 가능성을 검증하였다. MBS에 의한 열차 운전은 중앙국에서 열차의 위치를 실시간으로 알 수 있어 선행열차의 정보를 후속열차에 직접 전달할 수 있으므로 시격(Headway)단축이 가능해지고 그에 따라 수송수요 증대와 불필요한 가.감속을 방지할 수 있다. 이와 더불어 지상설비를 대폭적으로 감소시킬 수 있으며, 승객서비스 향상 및 승차감 향상 등의 이점을 제공한다.
