가덕도 상괭이(Neophocaena asiaeorientalis)의 분포 및 계절적 변화 (Distribution and Seasonal Changes in Finless Porpoise Neophocaena asiaeorientalis Populations Near Gadeok Island, Korea)

  • Few studies on the finless porpoise Neophocaena asiaeorientalis have been conducted on the south coast of Korea. This region includes Gadeok Island, which is located off the Korean peninsula in an area of heavy maritime traffic. Sighting surveys of finless porpoises were conducted at seven predetermined spots around Gadeok Island in January, May, July, September, and November 2016. Finless porpoises (127 individuals in 24 schools) were sighted at all but one (spot P5) of the survey locations. Fewer porpoises were spotted in summer (Jul and Sep) than in other seasons (P<0.05). Porpoises were most abundant around the south coast of the island, where they were spotted in every season, and in significantly higher numbers than at other locations (P<0.05). Single individuals accounted for 20.8% of sightings, while 25.0% of sighted schools consisted of only two porpoises. The mean school size was 5.29 individuals (SD=6.72).

  • 산업의 발달과 더불어 철도는 주요교통수단으로 등장하였으나, 이에 반해 철도소음은 철도변에 거주하는 주민들에게 많은 민원을 야기시키고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 정부에서는 정온한 주거환경을 위하여 2000년 1월부터 철도소음에 관한 규제를 강화하고 있으나, 기초자료의 부족 및 연구의 부족으로 인하여 효율적인 차음대책에는 많은 어려움이 있는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 지형조건의 변화에 따른 철도소음의 전달 및 감쇠 특성에 관하여 연구함으로써, 향후 철도소음에 관한 효율적인 차음대책 수립시 기초적인 자료를 제공하고자 한다.

연안 선박교통관리제도의 도입에 따른 사고예방효과 추정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of Casualty Prevention Effectiveness through the Installation of Coastal Vessel Traffic Services)

  • 이 연구는 항만교통정보센터의 시스템 확충 및 연안 선박교통관리제도의 도입에는 많은 비용이 소요되기 때문에 비용과 편익을 비교하여 타당성을 조사하고자 한다. 따라서 비용과 편익을 분석하는데 중요한 기초자료가 되는 사고예방효과를 추정하고자 한다. 추정의 방법은 거제해역에서 발생한 해양사고를 분석하여 원인요소를 도출한 후 이를 설문문항으로 구성하여 항만교통정보센터의 운영요원을 대상으로 설문을 실시한다. 연안 선박교통관리제도의 도입에 의한 사고예방효과는 충돌사고에서 55.572%, 좌초사고에서 51.667%로 추정되었다. 또한 인적요소와 환경요소에 의한 효과는 높지만 기술적 요소에 의한 효과는 미미한 것으로 분석되었다.

울릉도 주민들의 의료이용 형태 (A Study on the Patterns of Medical Utilization among Inhabitants in Ulnung Island)

  • Authors surveyed the inhabitants in Ulnung Island to assess the patterns of medical utilization. One hundred eighty six population(65 male and 121 female) were surveyed with formed questionnaire from Aug. 16 to Aug. 19 in 1994. Results are as follows. 1. The prevalence rate of acute diseases was 19.3%. 2. The prevalence rate of chronic diseases was 35.0%. In classification of chronic disease, the disease of musculoscletal system was the highest(33.9%) and that of digestive system in next order. 3. The first-visit medical facility when disease developed was community health center mainly. The admission care was taken in 37.6%. The 80.0% among location of medical facility for admission care was out of island. The surgical operative care were taken in 19.9%. The 86.5% among location of medical facility for surgical operative care was out of island. 4. Among the contents of dissatisfaction for medical service within island, 'Insufficient equipment' was the highest(35.8%), and 'Insufficient traffic networks' in next order. The results of this study suggest that public health facilities and medical personnel be strengthened and emergency transfer system be secured in Ulnung Island.

주민참여형 주거지 재생사업의 정비요소에 대한 고령 거주자의 중요도-만족도 분석 - 연남동 사업지구를 대상으로 - (Importance-Performance Analysis of Elderly Residents on the Planned Elements of the Participatory Residential Environment Improving Projects - Focused on the Project of Yonnam-dong -)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimate the perception of elderly residents on the residential environment improving projects and suggest the political implications. The survey include questionnaires about the importance and the satisfaction level on the project maintenance factors. The results were statistically analyzed by Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA). As the result of the study, firstly, it shows that 'the possible overkill area' on the IPA action grid includes none of factors except 'landscape' which is very similar to mean of performance score. the result of analysis means that the project is very efficient. Secondly, the policy is necessary to improve 'pedestrian passage', 'public open space' and 'transportation environment'. Considering elderly residents especially 'pedestrian passage' and 'public open space' are in need of improvement immediately. In detail 'traffic facility', building 'urban park' and 'pedestrian passage', 'paving of pedestrian passage', 'children's playground' are in need of improvement as well. The results of analysis on elderly and non-elderly residents of Yonnam project may be important foundation for future strategies for improvement.

  • 본 연구에서는 지리정보시스템을 이용하여 교량 안전 관리를 위한 교량재해관리시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 진주시에 위치한 교량시설물들에 대한 기본도, 도로망도, 교량위치도 등과 같은 여러 가지 도형 레이어 그리고 32개 교량에 관련된 속성자료들을 포함하여 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. Visual Basic 5.0 Language를 사용하여 여러 가지 교량안전관련 분석기능을 갖는 PC용 교량재해관리시스템을 개발하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 교량재해관리시스템은 신속하고 효율적인 데이터검색, 파일관리, 교량제원의 검색과 관리, 교량관련 도면보기, 교통량조사의 검색과 관리, 교량점검결과와 보수상태의 검색과 관리 그리고 교량 안전등급의 평가의 기능을 가지고 있다.

  • It is a plan the government increases a railroad section SOC investment, and to activate railroad construction while a railroad wins the spotlight with green transportation. But an error of the demand forecast that is a base of a railroad investment evaluation follows in occurring big, there is it with an operation with an obstacle of a railroad investment. Case of the Incheon International Airport Railroad which went into operation recently, While a present transportation demand showed about 10% than a demand forecasted in a past conference, it was magnified in a social problem. A lot of research was gone on in road project about traffic demand forecast and error, a study to find out the error cause is an insufficient situation although errors of a railroad occurs big. So, this study looked for errors and causes about trip generation model and modes sharing model of railroad demand forecast but it was defined causes so that it can occur similar problems in the future. Especially it investigated causes after comparing rate of development plan for the realization and O/D size in trip generation model and after comparing rate of modes sharing of past and current and conducting a survey for airport users. In conclusion, it suggested method to reduce errors of railroad demand forecasting in the future.

Multichannel Analysis of Surface Waves (MASW) Active and Passive Methods

  • Shear modulus is directly linked to material's stiffness and is one of the most critical engineering parameters. Seismically, shear-wave velocity (Vs) is its best indicator. Although methods like refraction, down-hole, and cross-hole shear-wave surveys can be used, they are generally known to be tougher than any other seismic methods in field operation, data analysis, and overall cost. On the other hand, surface waves, commonly known as ground roll, are always generated in all seismic surveys with the strongest energy, and their propagation velocities are mainly determined by Vs of the medium. Furthermore, sampling depth of a particular frequency component of surface waves is in direct proportion to its wavelength and this property makes the surface wave velocity frequency dependent, i.e., dispersive. The multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW) method tries to utilize this dispersion property of surface waves for the purpose of Vs profiling in 1-D (depth) or 2-D (depth and surface location) format. The active MASW method generates surface waves actively by using an impact source like sledgehammer, whereas the passive method utilizes those generated passively by cultural (e.g., traffic) or natural (e.g., thunder and tidal motion) activities. Investigation depth is usually shallower than 30 m with the active method, whereas it can reach a few hundred meters with the passive method. Overall procedures with both methods are briefly described.

대구시 대기오염물질 배출량 산정에 관한 연구 (Emission Estimation of Air Pollutants in Daegu)

  • Urban air quality is usually worse than that of rural counterpart. The contrasting atmospheric properties seem to be direct result of different urban-rural air pollutant emission. Hence, the emission estimation of air pollutants plays an important role to the atmospheric environmental management. The main purpose of this study is to find out the temporal and spatial distribution of air pollutant emission in Daegu area. For the study, the Daegu statistical yearbook and data of waste facilities and the report on traffic survey issued by Daegu metropolitan city and the statistical yearbook on the road capacity issued by the ministry of construction and transportation are used. Each item for the emission estimation is $SO_2$, CO, HC, $NO_x$, PM-10 from point, line and area source. The result were as follow; (1) The air pollutants with the highest amount of emission from the emission source is CO followed by $NO_x$, $SO_2$, PM-10, HC in descending order of magnitude. (2) The annually totaled air pollutant emission consists of 81%(73,185 ton/year) of line, 11%(9,589% ton/year) of area and 8%(7,445 ton/year) of point source in Daegu. Air polluant emission was mainly due to line sources. (3) High-emission of the air pollutants of line source appeared ariond Bukgu, Dalseonggun, Dongu and Seogu ; the areas with highway networks.

  • 해운 시황이 악화함에 따라 해운선사는 컨테이너선의 대형화를 촉진함으로써 규모의 경제 를 실현하고자 한다. 이에 컨테이너터미널 운영사는 신속한 서비스를 제공하며 많은 물동량을 유치하고자 자동화 장비와 시스템 도입을 통하여 허브항만으로 자리 잡고자 한다. 이처럼 선진 컨테이너터미널은 자동화 도입과 개발의 증가로 생산성과 효율성을 향상하며 경쟁력을 강화하고 있지만, 국내는 반자동화에 머물러있는 실정이다. 따라서 관련 주체별을 대상으로 설문 조사를 통한 인식 차이 분석을 위하여 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 향후 컨테이너터미널 자동화의 원활한 도입을 위한 이해관계자 간의 인식을 확인하고자 한다.
