  • Shallow foundations of various columns such as traffic signs, CCTVs, traffic lights, street lights, steel telephone poles and so on are made by cast-in-situ concrete method. However, typical cast-in-situ method has many problems because of the long duration of construction, occupation of sidewalks and low strength of the concrete after curing. In order to solve the problems, field load tests for the prefabricated DSF foundation made by combination of column and foundation was conducted to know load-deformation behavior by torsional tests.

  • Industrialization and urbanization occurred-traffic delay, traffic accident and parking problem etc.-variety of transportation problems. Parking problem is one of the transportation problem then transportation engineers would get involved in trying to solve parking problem. A way to overcome a variety of parking problems needs preliminary data for conditions of parking but it lacks the preliminary data to do so. Thus this study analyzed a characteristic of a parking through a field survey for parking in Daegu Metropolitan City. This study analyzed parking characteristic of parking operation method. This study result reveals difference between a toll parking and a no charge parking characteristic. Thus a close examination for a toll parking characteristic and a no charge parking characteristic is a prerequisite for a rational parking policy.

  • This study is about the improvement of housing environment through the research and analysis on how district-level roads are used and what the residents want about housing environment. The results are as follows: 1. As a result of the research on space usage, we could get the conclusion that street furniture occupies much space in the district-level roads, and the main causes of the space usage problems are from cars. 2. Because much space is used for parking, the district-level roads supposed to be the place for the pleasant and safe housing is changing into the main cause of the housing problems. Therefore we should find how to prevent the housing environment from being deteriorated through pridicting the traffic generation of future residential area. 3. Most residents park their cars near their houses in the district-level roads. In order to solve this problem, we have to secure the parking space and guarantee the safe traffic by designing the road space efficiently in spite of the inconvenience.

  • There are cases that revoke the certification because of disclosure of private key, deprivation of qualification and the expiration of a term of validity based on PKI. So, a user have to confirm the public key whether valid or invalid in the certification. There are many method such as CRL, Delta-CRL, OCSP for the cert-validation of certification. But these method many problems which are overload traffic on network and the CRL server because of processing for cert-validation of certification. In this paper we proposed the realtime cert-validation of certification method which solved problems that are data integrity by different time between transmission and receiving for CRL, and overload traffic on network and the CRL server based on DARC.

  • Recently existing the road traffic low is requlated by hump standard, which is established throuth the actual england TRRL(Transpodt and Road Research Laboratory) experiment. The determined standard has been utilized, however, wihtout the test on of our street and its drivers driving characteristics. Even with the utilization, the appropriate before and after management, is not constituted. In Spite of minimum speed limit, in many case, the utilization itself is questionalble rather than the purpose of restraining speed limit or reducing vehicle confacts. Along with hump consideration, social attention is focused due to series of personal law suit(traffic accident) field against the negligence of local organization management. Therefore counter measure of safe transportation facility is urgently required. With consideration of above background, the purpose of this research is to develop the hump that is appropriate with our transportation environment. This can be achieved thr ugh analysis of hump effectiveness, examination of drivers awamess, facilitation/management problems, and various problems in verticle acceleration.

  • Presently, Weekend Buses only lane system is in force in Gyung-Bu Highway causes traffic delay at the northern of Su-won IC and have reduced the efficiency of Highway. To solve this problems, Buses only lane system is working at the northern of Su-won IC should be charged over from Median Buses only lane system to Curb Buses only lane system. It makes good effects on reducing weaving occurs when cars change lane, traffic accidents, ease control on violation cars, improving Level of Service in the Ramp, etc.

  • In this work, the problem of regulating and tracking available bit rate (ABR) traffic in ATM network. The issue of providing control signals to throttled sources at distant location from bottlenecked node is of particular interest. Network modeling and design of controller is outlined. To obtain optimal control, receding horizon control (RHC) theory is applied. Simulation results are presented in views of regulation and tracking problems with or without constraints.

  • Urban areas face congestion problems that diminish personal mobility and freight-transportation productivity. An increasing number of experts suggest that separating freight traffic from passenger traffic makes sense in terms of economics, the environment, and safety. Some experts suggest that underground freight transportation are the solution. The objective of this paper is to review the potential benefits and limitations of freight pipelines as a viable mode of cargo transport that can alleviate congestion on urban highways.

ITS를 활용한 국방수송정보체계 효율성 증진에 관한 연구 (Improving the Efficiency of National Defense Transportation Information System by using ITS)

  • 현재 군에서는 전 평시 군사작전시 원활한 군수지원보장을 위한 실시간 도로정보 획득의 중요성이 대두되어 이에 따른 개선방향을 모색하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 최소한의 비용으로 군에서 활용 가능한 도로정보 획득방안에 대해서 제시하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이를 위해 우선 군에서 요구하는 도로정보 유형과 군과 유관기관간 네트워크 공유시 제한사항을 확인한 후 유관기관별(건교부, 도로공사, 서울시, 건설기술연구원, 경찰청) ITS 장비 운영 및 타 기관과 도로정보 네트워크 공유실태를 분석하였다. 그리고 이를 토대로 가장 효율적인 군과 유관기관간 공간적, 내용적 ITS 연계범위를 설정하고, 군과 유관기관 ITS 연계체계를 구성하였다. 그리하여 민 관에 의해 운용되는 ITS(Intelligent Transportation System) 정보자산을 군에서 공유하여 전 평시 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 군과 유관기관 네트워크 공유시 제한사항에 대한 극복방안에 대해서도 간략하게 제시하였다. 하지만 이 논문에서 제시된 방안이 매우 제한되기 때문에 보다 더 깊이 있는 연구를 통해 제한사항에 대한 극복대책을 강구하여야 된다고 사료된다.

한국의 교통유도경비 도입방안 -교과과정을 중심으로- (The introduction of Traffic Inducement Security System in Korea - Centering on Curriculums -)

  • 도로점용공사를 비롯 각종 공사구간은 주변의 혼잡을 가중시키고 차량과 통행자들의 불편을 증가시키며 교통사고의 위험도를 증가시키는 중요한 요인이 되어 인명피해 사고가 발생하기도 한다. 또한 대형다중이용시설을 이용하기 위한 차량 및 이용자들로 인한 교통지체는 막대한 경제적 손실을 가져온다. 현재 공사장 등에 대한 교통안전체계를 위한 관련법규 제정되어 있으나 실효성 미비로 인명 사고 및 지체로 인한 경제적 손실 지속적 발생되고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 선진국에서 시행하고 있는 교통유도경비(일본), 교통통제관제 (캐나다, 미국 등)의 제도 도입은 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 외국의 선진사례를 분석하여 현행 한국의 현황을 살펴보고 한국에 적합한 교통유도경비의 도입방안을 제시하는데 있다. 교통유도경비의 자격은 일정한 교육과 시험을 통과한 교통유도경비원에게 1급, 2급, 기술사를 부여하는 것이 바람직하다. 또한, 법제도를 개정하여 도로상의 공사와 혼잡한 장소 등에 있어서는 교통유도경비의 자격증을 가진 사람에 한하여 의무적으로 설치할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. 교육시간에 이론교육은 기본교육과 전문교육이 포함되어야 한다. 기본교육에는 법규의 이해, 직무의 이해 등이 포함되어야 하고 전문교육에서는 교통관리, 안전교육, 교통사고의 이해, 교통통제시설물의 조작, 사고시 처리방법 등을 실무교육에서는 현장에서의 교통유도업무(수신호, 안전물설치, 교통사고 처리, 응급처치 등)등이 포함된다.
