CDMA 이동통신 ENHHO의 성능개선 방안 ((Methods for Improving ENHHO of CDMA Mobile Communication))

  • 이동전화 서비스에 있어서 가장 중요한 것 중 하나가 핸드오프(H/O :Hand-Off)이다. 그동안 동일 세대간(2G↔2G) H/O를 위해 소프트 H/O방식과 소프터 H/O방식이 이용되어 왔으며 별다른 문제점이 없었다. 그러나 사용자의 욕구와 통신기술의 발달로 세대가 다른 시스템이 공존하여 서비스를 시작하므로써 세대간(2.S↔2G) H/O를 위해 파이롯 비컨방식과 주기형 비컨방식이 이용되어 왔으나 비경제적이고 능률적이지 못하였다. 이를 개선하기 위해 2001년 4월 ENHHO방식이 개발되어 현재 이용되고 있다. 이 방식 또한 파이롯 신호가 5개 이상인 경우 H/O가 진행되는 동안 통화정보가 순간적으로 단절되는 단점을 갖고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 ENHHO방식의 문제점을 개선하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안하고 이를 이용한 현장측정 결과를 분석하므로써 그 타당성을 검증하였다.

초고속 주행환경에서 교통안전을 고려한 고속도로 진출입시설 설치간격 평가 방법론: 시뮬레이션을 이용한 가속소음 분석을 중심으로 (Methodology for Evaluating Freeway Interchange Spacing for High Design Speed based on Traffic Safety: Focused on Analysis of Acceleration Noise using Microscopic Traffic Simulations)

  • 우리나라에서도 도로이용자 중심의 패러다임의 전환과 요구수준에 부합할 수 있는 고기능, 초고속환경의 도로건설의 필요성이 대두되고 있으며, 차세대 도로시장에 대한 수요도 급격히 증가할 것으로 예상되고 있다. 따라서 이러한 요구에 부응하기 위한 초고속주행환경의 고속도로 설계기준에 대한 검토 및 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 이에 본 연구에서는 최근 널리 사용되고 있는 미시적 시뮬레이터 중의 하나인 VISSIM을 이용하여 초고속 주행환경에 부합하는 고속도로 진 출입시설 적정 배치간격 설정을 위한 시뮬레이션 평가방법론을 정립하였다. 진출입시설 최소설치 간격에 대한 평가를 위하여 교통량, 설계속도, 차종비율, 진출입시설 이용 교통량 등을 고려하였다. 이에 따른 설치간격에 대한 평가를 위하여 교통상충, 안전성에 영향을 미치는 가속소음을 평가지표로 하여 각각의 설계기준에 따른 시나리오를 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 평가하였다. 분석결과 160kph 수준의 초고속 주행환경에서 교통안전을 고려한 진출입시설 최소설치간격 적정 값은 5km수준으로 평가되었다.

도로교통 소음지도 작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Making of the Noise Map for Traffic Noise Level)

  • This research helps you understand the road traffic noise levels by using a noise map. We have observed the change of the road traffic noise levels around $07:00{\sim}08:30\;and\;22:00{\sim}23:00$ using the noise map in the city. The road traffic noise level is very high both at noon and at night around a beltway and an interchange that is linked with a highway. It seems that the main route of so many vehicles, which are at neighboring cities such as N city and D and H districts and which avoid traffic jams in the city, is the beltway and interchange. The road traffic noise level of a nearby express bus terminal, railroad station, and airport is more than 75 dB at noon and 65 dB at night. The road traffic noise level of G city at night is observed to be more than 55 dB. The noise levels of a residence area and a university are higher than a road with high noise levels when the commuters drive to work. The end of the day exceeds 11 o'clock because of a culture level of development that arouses spare time, eating out, adults' drinking culture, nightlife of the youth, etc. Therefore, the road traffic noise level is high during late night hours, and it exceeds regulatory guidelines(55 dB(A)). It also damages the residence area that is located near the road.

Study on the response surface optimization of online upgrading of bio-oil with MCM-41 and catalyst durability analysis

  • Direct catalysis of vapors from vacuum pyrolysis of biomass was performed on MCM-41 to investigate the effects of operating parameters including catalyzing temperature, catalyzing bed height and system pressure on the organic yields. Optimization of organic phase yield was further conducted by employing response surface methodology. The statistical analysis showed that operating parameters have significant effects on the organic phase yield. The organic phase yield first increases and then decreases as catalyzing temperature and catalyzing bed height increase, and decreases as system pressure increases. The optimal conditions for the maximum organic phase yield were obtained at catalyzing temperature of $502.7^{\circ}C$, catalyzing bed height of 2.74 cm and system pressure of 6.83 kPa, the organic phase yield amounts to 15.84% which is quite close to the predicted value 16.19%. The H/C, O/C molar ratios (dry basis), density, pH value, kinematic viscosity and high heat value of the organic phase obtained at optimal conditions were 1.287, 0.174, $0.98g/cm^3$, 5.12, $5.87mm^2/s$ and 33.08 MJ/kg, respectively. Organic product compositions were examined using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry and the analysis showed that the content of oxygenated aromatics in organic phase had decreased and hydrocarbons had increased, and the hydrocarbons in organic phase were mainly aliphatic hydrocarbons. Besides, thermo-gravimetric analysis of the MCM-41 zeolite was conducted within air atmosphere and the results showed that when the catalyst continuously works over 100 min, the index of physicochemical properties of bio-oil decreases gradually from 1.15 to 0.45, suggesting that the refined bio-oil significantly deteriorates. Meanwhile, the coke deposition of catalyst increases from 4.97% to 14.81%, which suggests that the catalytic activity significantly decreases till the catalyst completely looses its activity.

하층대기의 연직 안정도 지표를 이용한 차량 2부제의 수도권 대기오염도 저감효과 분석 (Evaluation of the Effect of Traffic Control Program on the Ambient Air Quality in Seoul Metropolitan Area Using the Lower Level Stability Index of Atmosphere)

  • The effects of Traffic Control Program (TCP) on the ambient urban air quality of SO$_{2}$, NO$_{2}$, O$_{3}$, and PM$_{10}$ were evaluated in Seoul metropolitan area by using the lower atmospheric vertical stability index and daily mean wind speeds. The vertical stability index; temperature lapse rate between 1000 hPa and 850 hPa geopotential height fields, were used to identify daily vertical stability index during the 2002 World Cup period where traffic amount was reportedly reduced to half the number of vehicles. The indicated air quality levels of TCP days were then compared with those of the cases observed with analogous vertical stability during the recent 3 years from 2000 to 2002. The result indicates that the effect of TCP on the primary air pollutants are found to be approximately 39$\%$, 23$\%$ and 20$\%$ lower for SO$_{2}$, NO$_{2}$ and PM$_{10}$, respectively. The secondary air pollutant; ozone, showed relatively smaller decreasing rate (13$\%$) of daily mean concentrations (even increased during the night time). The comparison of daily maximum or peak concentrations reveals that the pronounced decreasing effects of TCP on the ambient air quality for both primary and secondary air pollutants, suggesting that TCP is one of the effective strategies to control peak or higher concentrations for most urban scale air pollutants in and around the Seoul metropolitan area.

국내 토양공정법과 산처리 방법의 비교: 최종 pH와 용출률의 관계

  • Environmental quality regulations are used to establish the maximum permissible concentrations of heavy metals before a site can be deemed to be polluted or contaminated. This paper compares the results obtained by 0.IN HCl extraction and acid extraction method(HNO$_3$+HClO$_4$.HCl). The leaching efficiency of 0.1N HCl extraction is directly proportional to the final pH of leachate, due to the different solubilities of the heavy metals at different pH values, The severe differences between 0.1N HCl-extractable and total metal contents result mainly from the buffering effect of carbonates, present in sediment. samples. Application of sequential extraction experiments to some sediments collected from gully pot in Seoul illustrates a much stronger scavenging effect by Fe and Mn-hydroxides, carbonates and organic phases. As deduced from both sequential extraction and leaching experiments, the relative mobility of heavy metals is found to be: Mn>Zn>>Co>Cd>>Cu>Pb>Cr>Fe, in spite of large differences in heavy metal content and localization. Changes in the physicochemical environments (such as acidification) caused by a traffic accident may result in the severe environmental pollution of heavy metals of surrounding area( surface water and rivers).

평택(아산)항 개발에 따른 교통혼잡도 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the estimation of traffic congestion for Pyeongtaek (Asan) port development)

  • 평택(아산)항의 내항에 대한 항만형식은 1990년 '아산공업기지 항만계획 기본계획용역'에서 갑문식으로 채택되었으나, 2001년 '평택(아산)항 종합개발 기본계획 정비용역'에서 감조식으로 변경되었다. 따라서 서해대교 하부에 건설된 남측호안이 철거되어 내항을 입${\cdot}$출항하는 선박은 상시 통항이 가능하게 되었다. 그러나 서해대교 하부의 통항 안전성을 고려할 때 내항의 통항여건은 통항가능 최대 규모선박이 단독통항을 전제로 한 50,000 DWT급이며, 교행 가능한 겉박이 3O.000 DWT급 이하라는 제약을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 평택(아산)항의 남측호안이 철거된 후 내항의 전망된 물동량을 처리하기 위한 연간 입${\cdpt}$출항 선박 척수를 가정하고 이러한 통항제약 상황에서 이들 선박들이 내항을 입${\cdot}$출항함으로써 발생되는 교통혼잡도를 예측하고 평가하였다. 평택(아산)항의 내항에 대한 교통혼잡도는 서해대교를 통항하기 위해 2006년 0.04(h), 2011년 0.17(h), 그리고 2020년 0.4(h)의 평균대기시간이 소요될 것으로 예상되어 통항의 지장이 크게 발생되지 않을 것으로 판단되었다.

A Study on SPI(soil pollution index) in City Land

  • To estimate the soil quality of Miryang area, soil analysis were conducted according to the city and out of city of soil expenses at according to analysis components and heavy metal pollution of irradiation sampling sites. The through soil components the principal element about the 71% $SiO_2\;and\;Al_2O_3$, the pH of field area near the city center was lower than that of the other field area, which indicated that this acidification was probably attributed to the acid rain caused by the traffic exhaust gas such as $SO_x\;and\;NO_x$. Acidification was more severe in the field area than in the farming land. The concentration of five heavy metals such as Cu, Cd, Pb, As and Cr were found to be lower than the standard of soil pollution. An assessment using the SPI(Soil Pollution Index), which was developed to estimate an overall soil quality, was performed. Each SPS(Soil Pollution Score) were evaluated with the results of the data from this study. The soil quality of most area of Miryang land was determined to Class 1, which indicated that the soil was healthy.

  • There are various polluting emissions related to the air quality such as $NO_x$, $CO_2$, CO, VOCs, $O_3$, $SO_2$, $CH_4$, $H_2S$, $NH_3$, etc. We need the system that reduces emission of these environment gases and detects risk factors in modern society. Therefore, if we use the USN(Ubiquitous Sensor Network) technology and a MAV(Micro Air Vehicle) Quad Rotor which can be hovering and moving free for setting up the environment gas sensing system, the realtime measurement on environment gases is facilitated and by extension, in application of traffic watchdog, forest fire surveillance and counter-terrorism efforts, we anticipate making better use of a Quad Rotor.

심장손상에 대한 임상분석: 13례 분석보 (Clinical analysis of heart trauma: a review of 13 cases)

  • From 1978 to April 30 84 thirteen cases of cardiac injured patients were operated under general anesthesia at Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery in Chonnam National University. These patients were divided Into two groups according to their cause of trauma: Group 1, penetrating cardiac injury and Group II, blunt cardiac injury. 1.In 7 cases of Group 1, 6 cases were stab wound and one case was gunshot wound, and among 6 cases of Group II, 3 cases traffic accident, 2 cases pedestrian, 1 case agrimotor accident. 2.The sites of cardiac injury in penetrating trauma were right ventricle mainly and the next left ventricle and in blunt trauma right ventricle, myocardial contusion, right atrium, and inferior vena cava in order. 3.In most of cases central venous pressure was elevated above 15 cmH2O and in 5 of 13 cases revealed cardiomegaly in simple chest X-ray. 4.The relationship between the condition on arrival and the time to operation is not significant. 5.Associated injuries in penetrating cardiac trauma were hemothorax, pneumothorax, laceration of lung and in blunt trauma hemothorax, sternal fracture, rib fracture and pneumothorax in order. 6.One case of gunshot injury died after operation.
