자동차 시트 쿠션 프레임 및 백 프레임의 구조 강도 해석 (Structural Strength Analysis at Cushion Frame and Back Frame of Automotive Seat)

  • 자동차의 다양한 부품 중 자동차 시트는 인간과의 직접 접촉 부위로서 승차감을 평가 할 수 있는 가장 기본적인 항목이다. 따라서 자동차 시트는 승차감과 동시에 충분한 강성과 강도를 가져야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 자동차 시트에서의 시트 쿠션 프레임과 백 프레임을 3D 모델링하였고, 쿠션 프레임의 비틀림 강도, 수직하중강도 시험, 백 프레임의 강도 시험 3가지 실험에 대해서 시뮬레이션으로 구조해석을 하였다. 해석결과, 쿠션 프레임 비틀림 강도 시험에서는 초기 전변형량의 최대값은 5.8421mm가 나왔고, 영구 전변형량의 최대값은 0.02539mm가 나왔다. 쿠션 프레임 수직하중강도 시험에서는 쿠션 프레임 앞쪽 끝단의 전변형량은 2.1159mm이고, 뒤쪽 끝단은 0.0606mm이다. 하중을 더 증가한 경우는 전변형량의 최대값은 3.1739mm가 나왔다. 3 가지의 백 프레임 강도 시험에서는 최대의 전변형량은 0.18634mm로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 자동차 시트 쿠션 프레임 및 백프레임의 과도한 변형 및 파괴가 없음으로서 승객의 안전을 보장하는 충분한 강성과 강도를 검증할 수 있었다.

  • The dynamic softening behavior of type 430 ferritic stainless steel could be characterized by the hot torsion test in the temperature range of 900-110$0^{\circ}C$ and the strain rate range of 0.05-5/sec. It is found that the continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) was a major dynamic softening mechanism. The effects of process variables strain ($\varepsilon$) stain rate($\varepsilon$)and temperature (T) on CDRX could be individually established from the analysis of flow stress curves and microstructure. The effect of CDRX increased with increasing strain rate and decreasing temperature in continuous deformation. The multipass deformation processes were performed with 10 pass deformations. The CDRX effect occurred in multipass deformatioon. The grain refinement could be achieved from multipass deformation The grain refinement increased with increasing strain rate and decreasing temperature. Also the CDRX in multipass deformation was affected by interpass time and pass strain. The total strain was to be found key parameter to occur CDRX.

자동차 스티어링 휠에 조립되는 플라스틱 베젤의 변형 최적화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Deformation Optimization of a Plastic Bezel Assembled on the Steering Wheel of an Automobiles)

  • In this study, plastics were deformed after molding due to the characteristics of the material. The Taguchi experimental design method was utilized to find the molding conditions that minimized deformation of the plastic bezel to be assembled in an automotive steering wheel. The injection molding conditions applied to the experimental design method are the melt temperature, cavity plate coolant temperature, core plate coolant temperature, and cooling time. Each condition was divided into five levels, and a total of 25 experiments were planned. However, instead of performing 25 actual molding experiments, the injection molding analysis was performed using the Moldflow program, and the deformation values for each molding analysis were obtained. The optimal molding conditions were obtained from these deformation values. The actual injection molding experiment using optimal molding conditions was compared with the deformation amount of the current molded product. The deformation was measured using a precise 3D scanner. The deformation amount of the molded product under optimal molding conditions was 16.1% lower than the deformation amount of the current molded product.

  • There are many factors in machine tool error. These are thermal deformation, geometric error, machine's part assembly error, error caused by tool bending. Among them thermal error is 70% of total error of machine tool . Prediction of thermal error is very difficult. because of nonlinear tendency of machine tool deformation. In this study, we tried thermal error prediction by using multi regression analysis.

조향휠의 유형에 따른 구조안정성평가 (Evaluation on Structural Stability According to Steering Wheel Type)

  • This paper studies with structural and vibration analysis to evaluate the structural safety according to the types of steering wheels. This study models are two, three and four spoke types. As the number of spokes increases, the maximum equivalent stress becomes smaller but the maximum total deformation becomes a little higher. The natural frequency at three models are shown from 180 to 230Hz as the maximum deformation. The frequency responses as maximum amplitude displacement are happened at 200Hz, 500Hz and 500Hz respectively. In this study, the steering wheel with three spoke type is shown to become suitable at durability and production.

  • 시트 프레임의 연구 개발이 활발하게 진행됨에 따라 본 연구에서는 고장력강판으로 제작된 시트 프레임의 전변형량을 실험과 해석을 통하여 고찰하였다. SPFC 980 t=2mm 고장력강판으로 된 시트 프레임을 반복피로 내구 시험기를 이용하여 전변형량 실험을 한 후, 동일한 조건으로 시뮬레이션하여 전변형량을 해석하였다. 실험과 해석 결과 값을 비교 분석한 후 그 값을 토대로 SPFC 780 t=2mm와 SPFC 780 t=1.5mm으로 된 시트 프레임 모델들의 구조적 안전성을 유한 요소 해석으로서 조사하였고 본 연구 결과를 통하여 어떤 모델이 상용화하는데 더 적합한지를 알 수 있었다.

Dynamic Compressive Creep of Extruded Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene

  • To estimate the true wear rate of polyethylene acetabular cups used in total hip arthroplasty, the dynamic compressive creep deformation of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) was quantified as a function of time, load amplitude, and radial location of the specimen in the extruded rod stock. These data were also compared with the creep behavior of polyethylene observed under static loading. Total creep strains under dynamic loading were only 64%, 70%, and 61% of the total creep strains under static loading at the same maximum pressures of 2 MPa,4 MPa, and 8 MPa, respectively. Specimens cut from the periphery of the rod stock demonstrated more creep than those cut from the center when they were compressed in a direction parallel to the extrusion direction (vertical loading) whereas the opposite was observed when specimens were compressed in a direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction (transverse loading). These findings show that creep deformation of UHMWPE depends upon the orientation of the crystalline lamellae.

근접사진측량과 Total Least Squares를 활용한 VLBI 안테나 형상 변형 모니터링 방안 연구 (Shape Deformation Monitoring for VLBI Antenna Using Close-Range Photogrammetry and Total Least Squares)

  • VLBI 시스템의 정밀측위 정확도 유지를 위하여 안테나 구조물에서 발생하는 형상 변형을 분석할 수 있는 모니터링 연구가 반드시 수행되어야 한다. 특히, VLBI 안테나 주 반사경의 형상 변화로 인하여 퀘이사로부터 전자기파 수신에 대한 안테나 이득이 감소할 것으로 예상됨에 따라, 주 반사경을 대상으로 하는 형상 변형 모니터링에 대한 중요성이 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 향후 상시적이고 자동화된 구조 변형 모니터링 시스템으로 활용될 수 있는 근접사진측량 방법과 연계한 효율적인 알고리즘 구축을 통해 VLBI 구조물 중 가장 변형 가능성이 높은 주 반사경을 모니터링하기 위한 기반연구를 수행하였다. 이를 위해, VLBI 안테나 주 반사경의 전 방향에 분포된 특징점을 대상으로 토털최소제곱법을 활용하여 총 10개의 fitting line을 추정하고, 비교차 선들 간의 근접점 계산 알고리즘을 활용하여 추정된 fitting line들의 교차점을 계산하였다. 본 연구결과는 향후 시계열 분석을 통해 3축으로 표현된 교차점의 수치변동량을 계산함으로써 변형률뿐만 아니라 변형방향까지 예측할 수 있는 직관적인 근거자료로 활용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

한국 성인 발 형태의 좌우 및 변형 연구 (A Study on Left and Right Shape and Deformation of Feet of Korean Adults)

  • An analysis of anthropometric data of feet of Korean adults was made in this study. Anthropometric data were measured with the direct measurement method and indirect measurement method. Martin scales and a tapeline were used for direct measurement. Digital images taken with a digital camera as an indirect measurement method were analyzed using AutoCAD program. Total 114 adults aged from 20's to 40's participated in this study. Especially right and left feet were measured. Right and left side were compared and differences according to age were compared too. Feet shape, arch height, and deformation of toe were analyzed. The comparison between right and left foot showed that many subjects had different anthropometric data in their feet. Feet deformation including arch height and claw toe shape showed very serious status. Close and continuous attention to feet deformation is strongly needed.

유한요소해석을 이용한 마늘 수확기 굴취부의 응력분석 (Finite Element Analysis Approach for the Stress of Digging Part of Garlic Harvesters)

  • A stress analysis was performed to verify the stability of the digging part of a garlic harvester. A finite element analysis was performed to examine the distribution and concentrated loads on the digging part of the blade and contact plate. Moreover, the stability and maximum deformation of the digging part were determined. Under a distributed load, the maximum principal stress, total deformation, and minimum safety factor ranged from 64-128 MPa, 0.35-0.70 mm, and 2.9-5.7, respectively. The analysis results for the distribution load indicated that the maximum stress occurred at the center of the blade. In contrast, under the concentrated load, the maximum principal stress, total deformation, and minimum safety factor ranged from 66-247 MPa, 0.35-0.79 mm, 1.48-5.53, respectively. The analysis results for the concentrated load indicated that stress and deformation were larger toward the edge and center, respectively.
