미취학 자녀를 둔 기혼 취업여성의 시간사용 유형에 관한 연구 (Typology of Time Use of Married Working Women with the Preschool Child(ren) in Korea)

  • This study explored a typology (or time allocation), investigated personal and work characteristic differences among time allocation types, and identified determinants of time allocation types of married working women with a preschool child. The data source for this research was the 2014 Time Use Survey conducted by Statistics Korea. We analyzed 368 time diaries (184 for weekdays and 184 for weekends) using frequency, mean, cluster analysis, chisquare, analysis of variance (ANOVA), Duncan's test, and multinomial logistic analysis. The results of this research are as follows. Time allocation of married working women with a preschool child was classified into three different types of 'work-centered,' 'work-family balanced,' and 'family-centered.' The work-centered type accounted for 14.7% of total respondents, and compared with other types, this type of people spent more time working, and less time doing house-work, caring for family, and having leisure. The work-family balanced type represents more than half of the total, and spend more time working on weekdays and house-working, having leisure on weekends. The family-centered type represents 28.8%, and spends most of the time doing house-work and caring for family on both weekdays and weekends. Occupation, employment status, monthly income, and weekly hours of work were different for each type. Occupation, employment status, perception of lack of time, health condition, and weekly hours of work were identified as determinants for each type.

Effect of Premenstrual Syndrome on Work-Related Quality of Life in Turkish Nurses

  • Background: Little is known about the effects of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) on work-related quality of life in nurses. We aimed to investigate the effect of PMS on work-related quality of life in Turkish nurses. Methods: A total of 134 volunteer nurses were included in this cross-sectional study between January 2015 and March 2015. One hundred and thirty-four nurses completed a questionnaire regarding demographic data, the Premenstrual Syndrome Scale (PMSS), and the Work-Related Quality of Life Scale (WRQoL). The nurses were classified as having or not having premenstrual syndrome according to the PMSS. Results: The average age was $29.5{\pm}7.1years$ and the prevalence of PMS was 38.1%. The total score of PMSS was significantly negatively correlated with the overall score (r = -0.341; p < 0.001) and all subscale scores of the WRQoL and ranged from -0.207 to -0.402 (p < 0.05 for all). All of the WRQoL subscale scores except stress at work (p = 0.179) in nurses with PMS were significantly lower than those of nurses without PMS (p < 0.05). The age (${\beta}=-0.258$; p = 0.021) and PMSS total score (${\beta}=-0.314$; p < 0.001) increment negatively; however, optimistic thinking (${\beta}=0.228$; p = 0.008) positively affected overall WRQoL score. Conclusion: Nurses with PMS have decreased levels of work-related quality of life in their professional lives. Methods to help cope with cyclic premenstrual symptoms may be used, and as a result, productivity and work-related quality of life may increase.

워크샘플링(Work Sampling)에 의한 병원급식의 작업측정 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Work Measurement of Hospital Foodservice by the Work Sampling Methodology)

  • The purposes of this study were to : a)determine the percentage of labor activities expen-ded in various work functionsof hospital foodservice b)estimate the labor time utilized in each work functions c)investigate the overall work patterns of hospital foodservice and d)provide the basic data for effective labor control This study was conducted in two hospitals with 1300 and 1200 ed capacities and every employees of the dietary department were included in 10days work measurement. Work sampling methodology developed by Donaldson and Ostenso was modified and used for observing overall activities of hospital dietary department. Consistency of data and observa-tion period were verified by 3$\delta$ control chart and control chart. Observed data were satisfied with confidence level of 95% and confidence interval of $\pm$0.05, The results of this study were as follows: 1) The direct work function indirect work function and delay were 74.8%, 9.2%, 16.0% respectively with A hospital and 82.2% 7.2%, 10.6% respectively with B hospital 2) The productivity indices of direct work indirect work and delay were 9.05 min/meal 1.12 min/meal 1.94 min/meal respectively and total 12.11 minutes were utilized per meal served in A hospital and 10.72 min/meal 0.94 min/meal 1.38 min/meal respectively and total 13.04 minutes were utilized per meal served in B hospital 3) Full time equivalent(FTE) utilized in daily work of irect work indirect work and delay were 62.24 men 7.69 men 13.35 men respectively in A hospital and 64.09 men 5.63 men 8.22 men respectively in B hospital. 4) The contents of work activities of each employee group showed that delay time of the service personnel group was more than any other employee groups in both A hospital and B hospital 5) Examination of daily work schedule by time intervals showed that transportation work function was carried out all day so it is necessary to improve this work.

레슬링 선수들의 단기간 체중감량이 슬관절의 등속성 운동능력에 미치는 영향 (The Changes of Isokinetic Strength in Accordance with Short-term Weight loss of Wrestlers)

  • 본 연구는 고교 레슬링선수들의 단기간 체중감량에 따른 등속성 운동능력 중 다리의 peak torque, peak torque %BW, total work, total work %BW, endurance ratio에 대한 변화를 알아보기 위하여 자기 체중에서 체중감량이 없는 집단 7명, 5%이상 감량집단 7명을 대상으로 체중감량 전ㆍ후를 측정하여 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 1. Peak Torque의 변화. 굴근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $60^{\circ}C$sec, $90^{\circ}C$/sec에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 그리고 신근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $60^{\circ}C$/sec, $90^{\circ}C$/sec, $250^{\circ}C$/sec에서 모두 유의하게 감소하였다. 2. Peak Torque %BW의 변화. 굴근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 60$^{\circ}$/sec, 90$^{\circ}$/sec, $150^{\circ}C$/sec에서 모두 유의하게 감소하였다. 그리고 신근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $90^{\circ}C$/sec와 $250^{\circ}C$/sec에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 3. Total Work의 변화. 굴근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $60^{\circ}C$/sec,$90^{\circ}C$/sec에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 그리고 신근의 경우 5%이상 감량집단의 $50^{\circ}C$/sec, $90^{\circ}C$/sec. $250^{\circ}C$/sec에서 모두 유의하게 감소하였다. 4. Total work %BW의 변화. 굴근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $60^{\circ}C$/sec, $90^{\circ}C$/sec, $250^{\circ}C$/sec에서 유의하게 감소하였다. 그리고 신근의 경우 5%이상 감량 집단의 $50^{\circ}C$/sec, $90^{\circ}C$/sec, $250^{\circ}C$/sec에서 모두 유의하게 감소하였다. 5. Endurance Ratio의 변화. 굴근과 신근의 경우 두 집단 모두 유의한 차이가 없었다. 단기간의 무리한 체중감량은 근력, 근지구력의 저하로 경기력을 저하시킬 뿐만 아니라 건강을 해칠 우려가 있기 때문에 단기간의 무리한 감량이 되지 않도록 과학적이고 체계적인 체중관리가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

테이핑에 따른 발목 근력, 고유수용성감각에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of a Taping on Muscle Strength, and Proprioception in Ankle)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate changes of muscle strength, ROM and proprioceptive function as before & after ankle taping in soccer players. For this study fifteen sports club whose had no ankle injuries were volunteered. Methode : Fifteen healthy male in soccer players participated in this study. Biodex pro system3 was used to measure isokinetic muscle strengths at $60^{\circ}$/sec angular velocity. Performances of ankle joint were measured peak torque, total work, average power, total work. To measure proprioceptive function used goniometer. Results : 1. proprioceptive sensation error were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). 2. Compare of total work of dorsi flexion plantar flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 3. Compare of average power of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 4. Compare average power of plantar flexion were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). 5. Compare average peak torque of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences by before & after taping(p>.05). 6. Compare average peak torque of plantar flexion were significantly differences by before & after taping(p<.05). Conclusion : Taping can have propriocetive aberrative angular measure, power & peak torque of plantar flexion were significantly differences. But, total work of dorsi flexion plantar flexion and power & peak torque of dorsi flexion weren't significantly differences.

Plyometric training이 하지 슬관절과 족관절의 등속성 총 일량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Plyometric Training on The Total Work of Knee and Ankle Joint)

  • 목적: 플라이오메트릭 훈련이 하지 슬관절의 굴곡과신전, 족관절의 배측굴곡과 족저굴곡의 등속성 총일량에 미치는 영향의 정도를알아보며이훈련법의효과검증을위해시도되었다. 대상및방법: 선택된 플라이오메트릭훈련 방식은 7가지로pike jump, double leg hop, double leg bound, single leg hop, stride jump cross over, alternate leg bound, box jump로구성되었다. 연구대상자는20 $\~$22세사이의대학생으로, 훈련시행군(N=5), 대조군(N=4)으로8주간 시행하고 훈련 전후 등속성 장비를 이용하여 슬관절과 족관절의 등속성 총일량을 측정하였다. 결과: 플라이오메트릭 훈련을 시행한군에서 높은 각속도의 슬관절과 족관절 운동의 총일량이 대조군에 비하여 증가하였다(p<0.05) .결론: 결과적으로 플라이오메트릭 훈련은 하지슬관절과족관절의등속성 총일량에 부분적으로영향을미치는것을알수있으며, 더나아가운동수행에도영향을미칠수있는것을의미한다.

사무직 근로자의 VDT 증후군과 관련요인에 관한 연구 (A study on the VDT syndrome and relating work factors of office workers)

  • Objectives: The study was conducted to investigate visual display terminal(VDT) and related risk factors in office workers. Method: The study subjects were 539 officers at 3 places of business in Gwangju. The data were collected by self-administered questionnaire between October 12 and October 17, 2007. and they agreed to participate in this study. The tool was developed by Moon, Jaedong(1991) for VDT syndrome. Data analysis by using SPSS/win 10.0 was performed with descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. Results: The summary of results is as follows: 1) The mean score of total VDT syndrome was $1.17{\pm}.65$ of full score 4.00, which was lower than other research. 2) For relation between general characteristics and total VDT, sex (t=-5.777, p=.000), age (F=3.516, p=.015), satisfaction of job (F=9.540, p=.000), self-awareness of health (F=25.015, p=.000) had statistically significant difference. 3) For relation between behavioral work factors and total VDT, break time of work(t=-5.363, p=.000), eye movement during computer work(t=2.176, p=.031), wrist exercise during(t=2.337, p=.020), distance between monitor and eyes(F=3.682, p=.012) had statistically significant difference. 3) For relation between environmental work factors and total VDT, height of chair(F=8.801, p=.000), space under desk(F=4.244, p=.015), reflection of monitor(t=2.697, p=.008) had statistically significant difference. Conclusion: To prevent and relieve VDT syndrome and musculoskeletal disorders in office workers, it is important to teach good posture and stretching exercise during work.

Examining the Predictors of Turnover Behavior in Newly Employed Certified Nurse Aides: A Prospective Cohort Study

  • Background: The turnover rate of nurse aides in Taiwan is high. However, the predictors of turnover behavior in the newly employed are still unclear. Objective: To examine the predictors of turnover behavior in newly employed licensed nurse aides. Methods: A longitudinal study design was used and subjects were newly employed certified nurse aides from a nurse aid training association in Taiwan. A total of five questionnaire surveys were conducted. The questionnaire was mainly used to collect information on turnover behavior, personal socioeconomic background, workplace psychosocial hazards, worker health hazards, and musculoskeletal disorders. Results: A total of 300 participants were recruited in the study. Cox regression analysis results showed that short working experience (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.21, p < 0.01), work as non-home nurse aides (HR = 0.58, p = 0.01), low monthly salary (HR = 0.68, p < 0.01), high work mental load (HR = 1.01, p = 0.01), low workplace justice (HR = 0.97, p < 0.01), high workplace violence (HR = 1.60, p < 0.01), high burnout (HR = 1.01, p = 0.04), poor mental health (HR = 1.06, p = 0.04), and high total number of musculoskeletal disorder sites (HR = 1.08, p = 0.01) contribute to a higher risk of turnover. Conclusion: The results indicated that employment period, work as a home nurse aide, monthly salary, work mental load, workplace justice, workplace violence, work-related burnout, mental health, and total number of musculoskeletal disorder sites are predictors of turnover behavior in newly employed certified nurse aides.

A New Mathematical Formulation for the Classical Assembly Line Balancing Problem

  • This paper presents a new integer formulation (Type III ALB) for a single model assembly line balancing problem. The objective of the formulation is to minimize the total idle time, which is defined as the product of the number of work stations and the cycle times minus the total work content. This formulation considers currently existing Type I (minimizing the number of work stations for a given cycle time) and type II (minimizing the cycle time for a given number of work stations) formulations as its special cases and provides the global minimum solutions of the cycle time and the number of work stations. This information would be of great value to line designers involved in designing new assembly lines and rebalancing old lines under flexible conditions. Solution methods based on combination of Type I and Type II approaches are also suggested and compared.

철도전기 분야 근무자들의 철도 관련 근무 특성이 스트레스에 미치는 융합적 영향 요인 (Convergence Influential Factors on Stress of Workers in the Field of Railroad Electricity by the Railroad Work Characteristics)

  • 이 연구는 철도신호를 포함한 철도전기 분야 근무자를 대상으로 이들의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 철도 관련 근무 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 2017년 2월 13일부터 3월 10일까지 자기기입식 설문을 실시하여 최종 445건에 대해 분석을 실시하였다. 객관적 근무 특성에는 총 근무기간, 현 근무지, 근무형태, 열차 운행 횟수, 열차 노선유형, 담당하는 열차 종류, 장애/사고 투입 횟수, 휴일 출근 여부, 근무시간을 포함하였으며 주관적 근무 특성에는 직장생활만족도, 주관적 업무 강도를 포함하였다. 이변량 분석결과 모든 철도 관련 근무 특성별로 스트레스에 차이를 보였다. 다변량 분석 결과 총 근무기간, 열차 운행 횟수, 담당하는 열차 종류, 휴일 출근 여부, 직장생활만족도, 주관적 업무 강도가 스트레스의 영향요인으로 확인되었다. 객관적 근무 특성과 스트레스와의 관계에서 주관적 근무 특성들의 조절 효과는 확인되지는 않았다. 따라서 이들 스트레스 영향요인에 대한 회사 차원의 관심 및 스트레스 관리가 필요할 것이다.
