고정된 MIMO 환경에서의 최적의 직교 오버레이 시스템 설계 (An Optimal Orthogonal Overlay for Fixed MIMO Wireless Link)

  • 기존의 MIMO 다중 송수신기들이 협대역 flat 채널을 공유하고 있는 환경에서 오버레이 MIMO 시스템의 디자인을 고려한다. 오버레이 시스템의 수신기로 수신되는 기존 시스템 신호의 2nd-order 통계량과 오버레이 송신단으로부터 기존 시스템들의 수신단 사이의 채널이 모두 알려져 있다고 가정한다. 평균 송신 전력 제약과 이미 관심대역을 차지하고 있는 기존 시스템들의 수신단에 간섭을 일으키지 않는다는 제약 아래 오버레이 시스템의 각 수신안테나 출력에서의 데이터 심볼의 평균 제곱 오차 (MSE: mean-squared error)의 합인 전체 MSE를 최소화 하는 최적 오버레이 시스템의 선형 precoding과 decoding 행렬을 유도한다. 최적 해가 존재하기 위한 필요충분 조건 또한 유도하고, 제안된 시스템의 성능에 대한 모의 실험 결과를 제공한다.

  • 지적 분야는 지적도면전산화사업의 일환으로 수치화된 도형정보와 대장정보를 PBLIS에 탑재하여 업무를 수행하고 있고, 이 데이터를 이용해서 현행 측판측량체계를 전자측판측량체계로 전환함으로서 도해지적에서 발생되는 제도오차, 축척오차 및 지적도면의 신축오차 등의 기술적인 오차와 측량을 할 때마다 측량사에 따른 개인오차가 제거됨은 물론 실측도에 대한 정확도를 분석하여 효율적인 측량방법을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.

개방형 CNC를 갖는 공작기계에 실장한 열변형량 예측 시스템 (Prediction System of Thermal Errors Implemented on Machine Tools with Open Architecture Controller)

  • The accuracy of the machine tools is degraded because of thermal error of structure due to thermal variation. To improve the accuracy of a machine tools, measurement and prediction of thermal error is very important. The main part of thermal source is spindle due to high speed with friction. The thermal error of spindle is very important because it is over 10% in total thermals errors. In this paper, the suitable thermal error prediction technology for machine tools with open architecture controller is developed and implemented to machine tools. Two thermal error prediction technologies, neural network and multi-linear regression, are investigated in several methods. The multi-linear regression method is more effective for implementation to CNC. The developed thermal error prediction technology is implemented on the internal function of CNC.

인공신경망을 이용한 한복지 태의 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Hand Value of Korean Fabrics using the Artificial Neural Network)

  • The purpose of this study was to quantify the hands of fabrics for the Korean folk clothes using both a KES-FB and an artificial neural network. In order to select the proper input parameters, we calculated the correlation using step-wise regression between mechanical properties and the hand value of fabrics. For the classification, the primary hand values and total hand value, five neural networks with three-layered structure were constructed using the error back propagation algorithm and, in order to reduce errors and to speed up learning, the momentum method was selected. From the analysis of the primary and total hands using a self-constructed artificial intelligence system, the error rates of sleekness, stiffness, silkiness, and roughness compared with the judgement of expert panels were found to be 3.3%, 3.3%, 1.6%, and 4.9%, respectively, while that of the total hand was 9.83%.

  • 실내에서의 위치기반 서비스를 위한 실내 위치 인식 기술에 대한 연구가 활발하다. 음향 신호와 TDOA 기술을 기반으로 하는 3차원 위치 인식 시스템에 있어서, 마이크 센서의 개수와 배열 위치에 따라 추정된 위치의 오차 특성이 달라지므로, 본 논문에서는 마이크 센서의 배열과 측정된 거리 차이값의 오차 크기에 따른 추정 위치의 오차를 DOP로 분석하고, 그 추정 위치 오차 패턴과 추정 위치 오차값을 고려하여 최적의 마이크 배열을 결정하는 방법에 대해서 연구하였다.

  • A transcutaneoos information transmission system using transmitted infrared light for an implantable total artificial heart(TAH) an developed and the performance of the system was tested. In an in vitro test, transmittance of the developed system was measured through various thicknesses of pig shins. In an in vivo test, a loopback test using a personal computer was performed to determine the error rate and an experiment using a mock system was taken. In this experiment, within acceptable lateral and vertical displacements, the error rate of at least 3.8E-6 was guaranteed. Monitoring signals from the internal controller(Intel 87C196) of the mock system were successfully transmitted to the external controller(IBM PC) and the operating commands from the external controller were successfully conducted by the mock system. Communication was done in half duplex mode according to RS-232 protocol at the speed of 4800 bps.

Contour machining error in NC milling process

  • The comprehensive system analysis for contour milling operation has performed in this study, which combined the each element with proper connectivity into closed loop system, and determined the system response by numerical simulation technique. The obtained simulated results were then compared with the experimental results from the practical points of view, and so forth, the governing equations were formulated into the estimation model, which predicted the total contour machining error within 25% accuracy. Through the procedural evaluation, it could ascertain the characteristics of generation mechan- ifs in circular contour machining error, and the weight of each factor.

Remedy for ill-posedness and mass conservation error of 1D incompressible two-fluid model with artificial viscosities

  • The two-fluid model is widely used to describe two-phase flows in complex systems such as nuclear reactors. Although the two-phase flow was successfully simulated, the standard two-fluid model suffers from an ill-posed nature. There are several remedies for the ill-posedness of the one-dimensional (1D) two-fluid model; among those, artificial viscosity is the focus of this study. Some previous works added artificial diffusion terms to both mass and momentum equations to render the two-fluid model well-posed and demonstrated that this method provided a numerically converging model. However, they did not consider mass conservation, which is crucial for analyzing a closed reactor system. In fact, the total mass is not conserved in the previous models. This study improves the artificial viscosity model such that the 1D incompressible two-fluid model is well-posed, and the total mass is conserved. The water faucet and Kelvin-Helmholtz instability flows were simulated to test the effect of the proposed artificial viscosity model. The results indicate that the proposed artificial viscosity model effectively remedies the ill-posedness of the two-fluid model while maintaining a negligible total mass error.

CDMA 이동통신시스템을 위한 QoS 기반 최적 전송출력/전송률 할당 체계 (Optimal Power and Rate Allocation based on QoS for CDMA Mobile Systems)

  • This paper studies power and rate control for data users on the forward link of CDMA system with two cells. The QoS for data users is specified by delay and error rate constraints as well as a family of utility functions representing system throughput and fairness among data users. Optimal power and rate allocation problem is mathematically formulated as a nonlinear programming problem, which is to maximize total utility under delay and error rate constraints, and optimal power and rate allocation scheme (OPRAS) is proposed to obtain a good solution in a fast time. Computational experiments show that the proposed scheme OPRAS works very well and increases total utility compared to the separate power and rate allocation scheme (SPARS) which considers each cell individually.

다층 퍼셉트론을 이용한 인버터의 효율 감소 진단 모델에 관한 연구 (Research on Model to Diagnose Efficiency Reduction of Inverters using Multilayer Perceptron)

  • This paper studies a model to diagnose efficiency reduction of inverter using Multilayer Perceptron(MLP). In this study, two inverter data which started operation at different day was used. A Multilayer Perceptron model was made to predict photovoltaic power data of the latest inverter. As a result of the model's performance test, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE) was 4.1034. The verified model was applied to one-year-old and two-year-old data after old inverter starting operation. The predictive power of one-year-old inverter was larger than the observed power by 724.9243 on average. And two-year-old inverter's predictive value was larger than the observed power by 836.4616 on average. The prediction error of two-year-old inverter rose 111.5572 on a year. This error is 0.4% of the total capacity. It was proved that the error is meaningful difference by t-test. The error is predicted value minus actual value. Which means that PV system actually generated less than prediction. Therefore, increasing error is decreasing conversion efficiency of inverter. Finally, conversion efficiency of the inverter decreased by 0.4% over a year using this model.
