  • This paper deals with a design to improve operating characteristic of spoke type BLDC motor. The rotor and stator is redesigned as rounding teeth of stator and pole surface of rotor. Result, cogging torque is reduced greatly. The Finite Element Analysis(FEM) is used to characteristics. The Prototype has been manufacturing to confirmed the validity of the proposed technique.

  • 본 논문에서는 단상 LSM(Line-Start Permanent Magnet Motor)의 토크리플 저감을 위하여 고정자 슬롯의 보조권선의 턴 수의 배치를 최적화 하였다. 보조권선의 최적화 과정은 고정자 슬롯 보조권선의 턴수 배치를 통하여 고정자 자속이 가장 정현파에 가까워지는 권선배치를 선정하였으며, DOE(Design of Experiment)를 통해 수행하였다. FEM(Finite Element Method)을 통하여 기존 모델과 최적화 모델의 특성을 비교 검토하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 PMSM(Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor)의 구동 효율 향상을 위한 MTPA(Maximum Torque Per Ampere) 제어 기법에 대해 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 전동기의 동손이 최소가 되도록 최적화 기법을 통해 전류각 지령을 조정한다. 제안된 기법을 통해 모든 부하 조건에서 짧은 시간 내에 동손이 최소가 되는 최적 전류각을 추종할 수 있으며, 전동기의 제정수 혹은 위치 측정 오차에 강인하다. 800W IPMSM 구동 실험을 통해 제안된 기법의 효용성을 검증하였다.

  • In this paper, we generate a trajectory minimized the energy gait of a biped robot for walking a staircase using genetic algorithms and apply to the computed torque controller for the stable dynamic biped locomotion. In the saggital plane, a 6 degree of freedom biped robot that model consists of seven links is used. In order to minimize the total energy efficiency, the Real-Coded Genetic Algorithm (RCGA) is used. Operators of genetic algorithms are composed of a reproduction, crossover and mutation. In order to approximate the walking gait, the each joint angle is defined as a 4-th order polynomial of which coefficients are chromosomes. Constraints are divided into equality and inequality. Firstly, equality constraints consist of position conditions at the end of stride period and each joint angle and angular velocity condition for periodic walking. On the other hand, inequality constraints include the knee joint conditions, the zero moment point conditions for the x-direction and the tip conditions of swing leg during the period of a stride for walking a staircase.

  • The main torsional vibration source of the powertrain is the fluctuation of engine torque. The gear rattle is impact generating in the backlash of the free gear due to this torsional vibration. Optimization of the clutch torsional characteristic is one of the effective method to reduce the idle gear rattle. Many researches have been reported on this problem but only few of them give sufficient consideration to the detailed clutch modeling and the experiment. This paper pays attention to the optimization of clutch design parameters and the experiment to reduce the idle gear rattle vibration and noise.

  • The problem of brake judder is typically caused by defects of quality manufacturing. DFSS (Design for six sigma) is a design process for quality improvement. DFSS will result in more improved but less expensive quality products. This paper presents an implementation of DFSS for quality improvement of the brake judder of heavy-duty trucks. Carrying out 5 steps of DFSS, the major reasons for defects of quality are found. The numerical approximation of the brake system is derived by means of the response surface method. Its quality for brake judder is improved by using the sigma based robust design methodology. Results are compared between the conventional deterministic optimal design and the proposed sigma based robust design. The proposed one shows that manufacturing cost may increase as the quality level increase. The proposed one, however, is more economical in aspect of the overall cost since the probability of failure dramatically goes down.

FNN 제어기에 의한 선박의 조종성능개선 (An improvement of control performance of ship by FNN controller)

  • A novel approach has been promoted for FNN ship controllers. An Electro-hydraulic governor has been widely adopted to the ship speed control of propulsion marine diesel engines for a long time, it was very difficult for Electro-hydraulic governor to regulate the speed of high power engine with long stroke at low speed and low load, because of the jiggling phenomena by rough fluctuation of rotating torque and the hunting phenomena by long dead time occurred in fuel combustion process in the engine cylinder. This paper provides an efficient way for improving control performance by FNN controller. An RBF neural network and GA optimization are employed in a fuzzy neural controller to deal with the nonlinearity, time varying and uncertain factors, the rule base and membership functions can be auto-adjusted by GA optimization. The parameters of neural network can be decreased by using union-rule configuration in the hidden layer of the network. The performance of controller is evaluated by the system simulation using simulink tools.

  • Unison의 U50 풍력발전기는 실증실험을 거쳐서 상용화 되어 시장에 제품으로 나와 있다. U50에 사용되는 영구자석 동기발전기는 Stator 내경 3.32 m 로 84극을 가지고 있으며 정격 25 rpm으로 운전되는 직접구동형이다. 직접구동형 발전기는 Gearbox 가 불필요한 반면에 높은 torque로 인해서 발전기가 무거운 단점이 있다. 기존의 U50 에 사용되는 발전기는 지지 구조물까지 포함할 경우 총중량이 약 20톤 이상이다. 발전기의 중량을 줄이고 경량화 시키기 위하여 slot에 들어가는 Ampere turn을 증가시키고 turn 수를 증가시켜서 기존과 유사한 전압, 전류, 출력을 유지하면서 축방향 Stator 길이를 감소시킨 최적화 모델에 대한 설계에 대하셔 연구를 진행하였으며 이 보고에서는 그 결과와 절차에 대해서 요약한다.
