Implementation of the CAI System Based on Gram-Stain Images for Medical Technologists Under Web

  • Because the education system that based on objective data is needed for the beginning technologists in the department of medicine laboratory, development of the CAI system based on Gram-Stain images is needed in clinical microbiology field. So, in this study, we implemented CAI system based on Gram-Stain images for medical technologists under Web using multimedia toolbook. Because this system is implemented under Web, more and more beginning technologists can have a remote-education beyond time and space, can save human power and time that needed due to hold in common of educational information, and cannot learn mistaken microbiology images because of learning execution based on objective data. Also, implemented system brings a higher interest and a learning effect to medical technologies because of hyper-media method that offered from toolbook. In the future, it will be needed a continuous acceptance of changing knowledge and it will be useful system for technologist in case of applying various examinations based Gram-Stain method of this study.

  • Developing tailor made Multimedia courseware ensuring effective implementation of instruction strategies is a challenge that manifests in myriad problems of software design and coding. In this paper an attempt has been made to analyse and identify coding and implementation problems, in the backdrop of using two different multimedia software development tools i.e. Visual Basic and Toolbook, which underpin the development and effectiveness of use of multimedia courseware. Solutions to such problems have been discussed in context of Tool book. The examples presented in this paper are based on the experience of designing and implementation of two large scale professional quality Multimedia courseware development projects.

  • One of the main objects of geometry in mathematics education is to improve students' geometric intuition capability and logical reasoning capability based on them. A visual element related to intuition plays an important role in teaching and learning of geometry. Therefore, in this research, we focus on the development of multimedia title available to dynamic operation about visual elements and verify of effect of its application. This title for the learning of "the Pythagorean theorem and its practical use" in the third grade of middle school is designed and implemented by an authoring tool, Toolbook. And it enables learners to study mathematics individually and can be applied to the educational field, too. And we taught two groups, the applied group and the compared one of the second grade of middle school and surveyed Questions and evaluated study achievement. We calculated study achievement of two groups on t-test using SPSS. As the result, we knew that the applied group is higher than the compared one in the study achievement and provision of dynamic operation possibility on visual elements make students know very high learning effect and help improvement of intelligent capability.

  • The purpose of this research is to investigate the of multimedia university library system theoretical models and to design partial functions of this model using multimedia toolbook 3.0. The theoretical model is constructed based on several operating systems such as JANUS Virtual Library and The Book House. Knowledge base of the designed system is constructed by interviewing reference librarians. The designed system consists of six modules : Reference Expert system. Journal Browsing, Multimedia Database, OPAC, External Database and User' s Guide. Finally, four problems are discussed as several major problems in building up multimedia university library network

  • A multimedia figure learning system has been designed and implemented by using TOOBOOK. Also, the developed system has been analyzed after use it in classrooms. The analysis result shows that the multimedia system is better for understanding the concepts of revolving entity and cross section than the traditional teaching methods.

  • In this thesis, the interactive multimedia contents service system is proposed. The interactive multimedia contents service system which added the on-line merit on the off-line merit of CD-ROM title can transfer messages among users and update contents immediately. The Interactive multimedia contents service system which Integrated the CD-ROM title and Internet sonics is possible to use in on-line / off-line. The proposed system more improved the fault of CD-ROM title in the conventional main media, the search environment by using mutual correlation of the utilization and method of the Internet CD-ROM title.

  • When we present some information, we can use application programs through multinedia-based authoring tools. Especially.many programers proposed to improve its intergration time and reduce programming speed and easy to use. However, multimedia based authoring tools have not all of programming methodolgies and do not supply special functions from user's request. Therefore, we have to apply effective functions through high-level programming languages.In this paper, we propose to use small appkication prograns through linking methods, So we reduce overhead from memory loading In authoring tools, we can use MCI(media control interface) call functions for playback audio files.we development ATS(Auto Transition System) for several functions-close MCI call audio files, get object status, page-to page trancition.We evidently show that an optimal configuration of presentation obtained by ATS algorithm.

  • This paper presents improved GUI based analysis tool o( load flow of power system (or contingency. It is effective tool to facilitate the teaching and learning of load flow of power system. This software is the named of PFGUI(Power Flow GUI) that written in TooIBookII of Asymetrix. The PFGUI is friendly for study for power system operation and control because picture provide a better visualizing of relationships between input parameters and effects than a tabula type result. This PFGUI enables topology and the output data of load flow for line outages to be shown on same picture page. Users can input the system data for power flow on the the picture and can easily see the the result diagram of bus voltage, bus power, line flow. It is also observe the effects of different types of variation of tap, shunt capacitor, loads level, line outages. Proposed PFGUI has been studied on the Ward-Hale 6-Bus system.
