This paper describes a design scheme of a system that tests or polls from the students at online class. By online test, the teacher can test the pre-knowledge level of the students and know how much students understand the lecture of the class. As the number of test increases, the burden of the preparation of setting question, evaluation of the test, and management of the test results is increased. In this environments, an online test management system make it easy to test and evaluate, and thus it would be a good tool for maintaining and managing the total procedure of the test or poll of the students. For evaluating the design of the system, we made a test system prototype and performed evaluations of the online test system. The online test and evaluation system provides a good tool for testing and evaluation of student's knowledge at the class with easy and fast way.

New attempt has been made on Management Science (MS) education since the end of 1990s. The most distinctive feature of the new attempt is using spreadsheet program like Excel as a teaching tool for MS course. The spreadsheet program gives an excellent tool for modeling and solvina MS problems. In order to improve the pedagogical effect through using the spreadsheet program for MS course, new teaching model based on spreadsheet encompassing new course contents, effective instruction method, and examination method is needed. For this purpose, professors teaching MS should share their own teaching experiences and methods. So this paper explains remarkable functions of Excel and how to use them for the MS tools. This paper also stresses the importance of team project and case study to improve the effect of MS education through the use of Excel and presents some tips on MS education.

Most local agencies such as counties and small cities continuously express difficulties in making technically and financially defensible decisions on their pavement infrastructure maintenance and rehabilitation. Unlike pavement systems managed by state highway agencies, the total lane-miles of many local pavements are significantly short and they are managed by a limited number of staff who typically have multiple responsibilities. Most local agencies also do not have historical pavement performance data and the lack of a systematic decision making framework exacerbates the problem. A structured framework and an easily accessible decision support tool that reflects their local requirements, practices and operational conditions would greatly assist them in making consistent and defensible decisions. This study fills this gap by developing a systematic pavement treatment selection framework and a spreadsheet based tool for local agencies. It is expected that the proposed framework will significantly help local agencies to improve their pavement asset management practices at the project level.

This paper presents a case study regarding a simple accounting information analysis method through the practical design using spreadsheet tool-Excel, which can offer to the management with more useful and practical information for the management decision-making. In this study, spreadsheet program is used to constitute case of the accounting information analysis method. Spreadsheet tool-Excel is easy to analyze the accounting information. And it can constitute a necessary program through function menu. In conclusion, the spreadsheet program should be used for quantitative analysis and evaluation on the accounting information. And it should be used to perform management activities. The results of this study may be summarized as follows: First, it is possible to constitute useful and practical case in the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program. Second, this study proposes directions for the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program.

Acting an important risk management tool for main contractors, pre-qualification has served a key marketing tool for subcontractors in various industries. Current industrial environment has required the time intensive pre-qualification ability to small and medium-size subcontractors as a matter of competitive business. In order to support the subcontractors, this paper proposes a database model for pre-qualification management system (PQMS) that automates the pre-qualification process by using information technologies. The modeling process consists of specifications for its requirements, functional modules, and a database model for the PQMS.

The purpose of this study was to make improvement plan of supplement education for multifamily housing managers. It had investigated a difficult degree of managerial work and troubles of education through questionnaires by 144 housing manager in Ulsan. Analysis methods adopted in this study were frequency, percentage, mean, one-way ANOVA by the SPSS 10.0 for windows program. The parts of evaluation tool were composed of maintenance, operating management, residential life management. The evaluation tool got contents through the documents research, present education contents and questions on the Internet. Likert summated scale(5 point) was used. The results of study showed that a difficult degree of managerial work in the residential life management was the highest. A difficult degree of maintenance work was the highest on the defect examination and decision of repair method of equipment facilities and construct frame. The degree of difficulty of the operating management was high on the homepage management through Internet and well-being progress of housing managers.

COVID-19 pandemic outbreak increased the use of Internet of Medical Things (IoMT), but the existing IoMT solutions are not free from attacks. This paper proposes a secure and resilient framework for IoMT, it computes the risk using Risk Impact Parameters (RIP) and Risk is also calculated based upon the Threat Events in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). UICC (Universal Integrated Circuit Card) and TPM (Trusted Platform Module) are used to ensure security in IoMT. PILAR Risk Management Tool is used to perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis. It is designed to support the risk management process along long periods, providing incremental analysis as the safeguards improve.

OpenStack과 같이 오픈 소스 기반의 클라우드 컴퓨팅 관리 플랫폼 (Cloud Management Platform) 의 빠른 구현으로 인하여, 오픈 소스를 이용한 개인 및 기관의 클라우드 구축 시도가 지속적으로 증가되는 추세이다. 이러한 클라우드 운영자들에게, 구축한 클라우드 컴퓨팅 시스템의 동작 검증은 필수적이다. 본 논문은 클라우드 시스템 구축 검증하기 위한 오픈 소스 기반의 클라우드 테스트 도구를 디자인하며 구현한다. 특히, 제안된 테스트 도구는 오픈 소스 소프트웨어 프로젝트인 Tempest를 활용하며, Tempest의 테스트 케이스를 통해서 OpenStack기반의 클라우드를 검증한다. 제안된 소프트웨어는 국내에서 처음으로 개발되는 클라우드 시스템 구축 테스트 도구의 프로토타입이며, 앞으로 클라우드 기술 개발 및 사용자 확대에 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

This paper examines the validity of the newly developed IT consulting SERVQUAL measurement tool. In an attempt to measure Ire IS customers' expectations and perceived quality of the services they received, the researchers developed a diagnostic tool of SERVQUAL based on the solid theoretical background, which can specifically be applied to the IT consulting service sector. This on-going research so far, has been applied to six (6) different organizations that have received IT consulting services over the past years. From the preliminary data collected, the correlation and the factor analyses were conducted to understand the underlying concept and refinement of the measurement tool. Although the correlation analysis showed a little tendency of collinearity among some of the variables, all showed sound relationship of the proposed hypotheses. The exploratory factor analytic approach was chosen because it does not set any priori constraints on the estimation of components or the number of components to be extracted. The number of different factor solutions was extracted and tested to see which solution represents better grouping of the variables. The Crombach's Alpha was computed on different combinations of the factor solutions to ensure validity. The results show 8-dimensional IT consulting SERVQUAL measures which they are, assurance, knowledge & skill, customer relationship, support, empathy, process management, expertise, and education, seem more appropriate than the originally proposed 6 dimensions. The study approach was non-experimental cross-sectional research design. The longitudinal design of follow-up studies to periodically revise and refine current measure is strongly recommended for fine tuning of the tool.

The primary purpose of this study is to develop an automation tool capable of converting the specification of structured analysis into that of structured design. Structured Analysis and Structured Design Language (SASDL) is a computer-aided description language based on ERA model and particulariged by ISLDM/SEM. The automation tool utilizes the specifications of data flow diagram described in SASDL to produce their corresponding SASDL specification of structure chart. The main idea behind the automatic conversion process is to categorize the bubbles in data flow diagram and to determine the positions of the bubbles in structure chart according to their categories and the relative locations in data flow diagram. To make the problem into manageable size, the whole system is broken down into separate parts called activity units. A great deal of manual jobs, such as checking processes leveling, checking data derivation of processes, deriving structure chart from data flow diagram, checking any inconsistency between data flow diagram and structure chart and so forth, can be automated by using SASDL and conversion tool. The specification of structure chart derived by conversion tool may be used in an initial step of design to be refined by SASDL users.
