The purpose of this research was to investigate the impression dimension and to elucidate the image perception depending on the tone of the Korean jacket and Korean skirt using the tone-on-tone coloration. As stimulators, the became same color by making the skirt and jacket red, yellow, and green at the same time. After the skirt and jacket became four kinds of tones, vivid, light, dull, and dark by altering value and fuing chroma in the assembled color, these tone-on-tone coloration stimulators $48(3\times4\times4)$ were used for the investigation of this study. Impression factor of the stimulus consisted of the 5 different dimensions(youthfulness and activity, attractiveness, gracefulness, concentration of attention, tenderness). Among these factors, youthfulness and activity, attractiveness were proved to be more important. In the tone-on-tone coloration of a Korean skirt and a Korean jacket, each dimensional image was affected by the character of color, also the evaluation of countenance showed the meaningful difference depending on tone. Thus, we can comprehend that the influence of tone as well as color affects the evaluation of an image.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of eyeshadow color(brown, purple), lipstick color(red, red purple, and yellow red), and lipstick tone(vivid, light, dull, and dark), clothing style(formal, casual), clothing tone(N9, N7, N4, N2) on image formation. Sets of stimulus and response scales(7 point semantic) were used as experimental materials. The stimuli were 128 color pictures manipulated with the combination of eyeshadow color, lipstick color, lipstick tone, clothing style, and clothing tone using computer simulation. The subjects were 768 female undergraduates living in Gyeongnam-do. Image factor of the stimulus was composed of 5 different components, attractiveness, stability, cuteness, visibility, and tenderness. In the 5 image components, clothing style and clothing tone showed independent effect. In the stability, cuteness and visibility, lipstick color showed independent effect. Eyeshadow color and lipstick tone influenced independently on the attractiveness, stability and visibility. In the coordination of achromatic clothing with makeup face, attractiveness image by the coordination of lipstick tone with clothing tone, cuteness image by the coordination of lipstick tone with clothing style or clothing style with clothing tone, visibility image can be produced by the coordination of eyeshadow color with lipstick color.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effects of used color and tone on harmony perception by applying contrast coloration of shirt and necktie. This experiment designed by shirt color(red, blue, purple, green), tie color(green or blue tie with red shirt, yellow or red tie with blue shirt, yellow or green tie with purple shirt, purple or red tie with green shirt), shirt tone(vivid, light, dull, dark), tie tone(vivid, light, dull, dark), and perceiver gender(a male, a female). The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales, we harmonized those colors of shirts and neckties contrast, then made shirt and necktie tone differently. The subjects of this research were 640 male and 640 female college students. The data was analyzed by using SPS program. Shirt color, tie color, shirt tone, tie tone, perceiver gender influenced on harmony perception independently. Shirt color and tie color, shirt color and shirt tone, shirt color and perceiver gender, tie color and tie tone, tie color and perceiver gender, shirt tone and tie tone influenced on the harmony perception by interaction.

This study investigates the image of casual shirts according to color combination, tone, and interval of checked pattern in tone-in-tone coloration. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimulus and response scales. The stimuli were 24 color pictures, in which color combination (RY: Red+Yellow, BP: Blue+Purple), tone (light, dull, dark), and interval (0.5cm, 1.5cm, 3.5cm, and 5.5cm) were manipulated. The 7-point scale was used for evaluation of image. Data were obtained from 240 female college students living in Seoul, Gwangju, Jinju, and Changwon in April 2010. For data analysis, ANOVA and Duncan-test were used by using SPSS program. The results of this study are as follows. Image according to color combination, tone, and interval of checked pattern consisted of five dimensions of attractiveness, youth- activity, appeal, modesty, and freshness. The cover combination showed an independent effect on freshness. Tone showed an independent effect on attractiveness, youth-activity, appeal, and modesty. Interval showed an independent effect on appeal, modesty, and freshness. Interaction effects of color combination and tone on youth-activity and appeal were found. In addition, interaction effects of tone and interval on attractiveness, youth-activity, and freshness were also found.

In the 4 image components, eyeshadow color and clothing tone showed independent effect. Lipstick tone influenced independently on the visibility and tenderness. In the contrast color coordination of clothing and makeup, visibility image by the coordination of lipstick color with lipstick tone, lipstick color with clothing tone or lipstick tone with clothing tone, gracefulness image by the coordination of eyeshadow color with lipstick color, tenderness image can be produced by the coordination of eyeshadow color with lipstick color, eyeshadow color with lipstick tone or eyeshadow color with clothing tone.

This research investigates the influence of color as an important factor of the visual image created by clothes. First, the factor analysis of the adjectives describing the images of clothes shows that the images of clothes are classified into 4 factors that include attraction, brightness, femininity, and the figure type (of which the attraction factor and brightness factor were found to be important dimensions). Second, as for the images of feminine style clothes colors, violet appears more refined and attractive than other colors in all 3 tones. Red appears as a brilliant and glowing image in a vivid tone. Yellow in a vivid tone and pale tone, and red in deep tone appear as a warm image, while blue appears as a cold image in all 3 tones. Blue and violet appear as a tall and slim image in all 3 tones. As for the images of mannish style clothes colors, yellow in vivid tone, violet in pale tone and red in deep tone appear as the most refined and attractive image, while green in all the tones appears as a rustic and unattractive image. Red in vivid tone, yellow in pale tone and violet in deep tone appear as a very brilliant and glowing image. Red in pale tone and deep tone appear as a warm and feminine image. Third, yellow in all the tones is evaluated to be attractive in the mannish style in the comparison of the image of feminine and mannish style clothes color, while blue in a pale tone in feminine style and in deep tone in mannish style earned high points. Red and violet did not show any significant differences between the two styles.

The purpose of this paper is to research Korean boundary tone of sentence type and perceptive speaker's attitude according to speech rate - three type. In view of the preceding study, Korean intonation's meaning is determined by boundary tone. Also, in my experimental results, Korean boundary tone of sentence type has preferential tone. However, Korean boundary tone of sentence type is not influential according to speech rate. The speech rate's change of three pattern is influential in auditor's perceptual response. The relationship between the pitch contour of boundary tone and speech rate is not significant.

The screech tone of an underexpanded jet is numerically calculated without any specific modeling for the screech tone itself. A fourth-order optimized compact scheme and fourth-order Runge-Kutta method are used to solve the 2D axisymmetric Euler equation. The Fourier transform of pressure signal at upstream shows the directivity pattern of the screech tone very clearly. Pressure signal is shown to observe the generation of the screech tone. Most importantly, we can simulate the axisymmetric mode change of the screech tone very precisely with the proposed method. It can be concluded that the basic phenomenon of the screech tone including its frequency can be calculated and its mode change can be simulated with inviscid Euler equations.

Directional antennas are used to improve spatial reuse, but have the problem of deafness. The DUDMAC protocol uses the ORTS, OCTS, DDATA, and DACK mechanisms and a blocking algorithm for directional transmissions. In this paper, we propose a tone dual-channel directional MAC (Tone DUDMAC) protocol to improve spatial reuse. The Tone DUDMAC protocol uses the ORTS, DCTS, DDATA, and DACK mechanisms including the DDATA_tone and OCTS_tone. We use ORTS as that in DUDMAC because of location unawareness of neighbor's nodes. The DDATA_tone and OCTS_tone reduce a blocking area and improve spatial reuse. We confirm the throughput performance of the proposed MAC protocol by computer simulations using Qualnet ver.3.8 simulator.

Muscle tone is the force with which a muscle resists being lengthened. Muscle tone is often tested clinically by passively extending and flexing a relaxed patient's limbs and feeling the resistance offered by the muscle. Both nonneural and neural mechanism contribute to muscle tone. Muscle tone is the mechanisms that contribute to the generation of tone in individual muscles when a person is in a relaxed state. This background level of activity changes in a certain antigravity posture muscle when we stand upright, thus counteracting the force of gravity. This increased level of activity in antigravity muscles is known as postural tone. The evidence from experiments showing that lesions of the dorsal(sensory) roots of the spinal cord reduced muscle(postural) tone is influenced by inputs from the somatosensory system. Patients with neurological damage have several state of muscle(postural) tone, which display from flaccidity to rigidity. This review article deal with muscle tone and somatosensory system acting on this. The understanding about this contribute to a better therapeutic approach for the rehabilitation of patients to have an abnormal muscle(postural) tone due to neurological damage.
